1Tito jsou synové Izraelovi: Ruben, Simeon, Léví, Juda, Izachar a Zabulon,
1These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun;
2Dan, Jozef, Beniamin, Neftalím, Gád a Asser.
2Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3Synové Judovi: Her, Onan a Séla. Ti tři narodili se jemu z dcery Suovy Kananejské. Ale Her, prvorozený Judův, byl zlý před očima Hospodinovýma, protož zabil ho.
3The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Bath-shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and He slew him.
4Támar pak nevěsta jeho porodila mu Fáresa a Záru. Všech synů Judových pět.
4And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5Synové Fáresovi: Ezron a Hamul.
5The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6Synové pak Záre: Zamri, Etan, Héman, Kalkol a Dára, všech těch pět.
6And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7A synové Zamri: Charmi, vnuk Achar, kterýž zkormoutil Izraele, zhřešiv při věci proklaté.
7And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass concerning the devoted thing.
8Synové pak Etanovi: Azariáš.
8And the sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9Synové pak Ezronovi, kteříž se mu zrodili: Jerachmeel, Ram a Chelubai.
9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10Ram pak zplodil Aminadaba, a Aminadab zplodil Názona, kníže synů Juda.
10And Ram begot Amminadab; and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11Názon pak zplodil Salmona, a Salmon zplodil Bóza.
11and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz;
12A Bóz zplodil Obéda, a Obéd zplodil Izai.
12and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
13Izai pak zplodil prvorozeného svého Eliaba, a Abinadaba druhého, a Sammu třetího,
13and Jesse begot his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third;
14Natanaele čtvrtého, Raddaia pátého,
14Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth;
15Ozema šestého, Davida sedmého,
15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh.
16A sestry jejich: Sarvii a Abigail. Synové pak Sarvie byli: Abizai, Joáb, Azael, tři.
16And their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17Abigail pak porodila Amazu, otec pak Amazův byl Jeter Izmaelitský.
17And Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18Kálef pak syn Ezronův zplodil s Azubou manželkou a s Jeriotou syny. Jehož tito synové byli: Jeser, Sobab a Ardon.
18And Caleb the son of Hezron begot children of Azubah his wife — and of Jerioth — and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19Když pak umřela Azuba, pojal sobě Kálef Efratu, kteráž mu porodila Hura.
19And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20A Hur zplodil Uri, a Uri zplodil Bezeleele.
20And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezalel.
21Potom všel Ezron k dceři Machira otce Galádova, kterouž on pojal, když byl v šedesáti letech. I porodila jemu Seguba.
21And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead; whom he took to wife when he was threescore years old; and she bore him Segub.
22Segub pak zplodil Jaira, kterýž měl třimecítma měst v zemi Galád.
22And Segub begot Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23Nebo vzal Gessurejským a Assyrským vsi Jairovy, i Kanat s městečky jeho, šedesáte měst. To všecko pobrali synové Machirovi, otce Galádova.
23And Geshur and Aram took Havvoth-jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24Též i po smrti Ezronově, když již pojal byl Kálef Efratu, manželka Ezronova Abia porodila jemu také Ashura, otce Tekoa.
24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrath, then Abiah Hezron's wife bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25Byli pak synové Jerachmeele prvorozeného Ezronova: Prvorozený Ram, po něm Buna a Oren, a Ozem s Achia.
25And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26Měl také manželku druhou Jerachmeel, jménem Atara. Ta jest matka Onamova.
26And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27Byli pak synové Ramovi prvorozeného Jerachmeele: Maaz a Jamin a Eker.
27And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28Též synové Onamovi byli: Sammai a Jáda. A synové Sammai: Nádab a Abisur.
28And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada; and the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29Jméno pak manželky Abisurovy Abichail; ktéráž porodila jemu Achbana a Molida.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid.
30A synové Nádabovi: Seled a Appaim. Ale umřel Seled bez dětí.
30And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31Synové pak Appaimovi: Jesi; a synové Jesi: Sesan; a dcera Sesanova: Achlai.
31And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32Synové pak Jády, bratra Sammaiova: Jeter a Jonatan. Ale umřel Jeter bez dětí.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33Synové pak Jonatanovi: Felet a Záza. Ti byli synové Jerachmeelovi.
33And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34Neměl pak Sesan synů, ale dceru. A měl Sesan služebníka Egyptského jménem Jarchu.
34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35Protož dal Sesan dceru svou Jarchovi služebníku svému za manželku, kteráž porodila mu Attaie.
35So Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bore him Attai.
36Attai pak zplodil Nátana, a Nátan zplodil Zabada.
36And Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad;
37Zabad pak zplodil Eflale, a Eflal zplodil Obéda.
37and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed;
38Obéd pak zplodil Jéhu, a Jéhu zplodil Azariáše.
38and Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah;
39Azariáš pak zplodil Cheleza, a Chelez zplodil Elasu.
39and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah;
40Elasa pak zplodil Sismaie, a Sismai zplodil Salluma.
40and Eleasah begot Sisamai, and Sisamai begot Shallum;
41Sallum pak zplodil Jekamiáše, a Jekamiáš zplodil Elisama.
41and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
42Synové pak Kálefa, bratra Jerachmeelova: Mésa prvorozený jeho. On byl otec Zifejských i synů Marese, otce Hebronova.
42And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43Synové pak Hebronovi: Chóre a Tapuach, a Rekem a Sema.
43And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44Sema pak zplodil Rachama otce Jorkeamova, a Rekem zplodil Sammaie.
44And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begot Shammai.
45Syn pak Sammai byl Maon; kterýžto Maon byl otec Betsurských.
45And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46Efa také, ženina Kálefova, porodila Chárana a Mozu a Gazeza. A Cháran zplodil Gazeza.
46And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
47Synové pak Johedai: Regem, Jotam, Gesan, Felet, Efa a Saaf.
47And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48S ženinou Maachou Kálef zplodil Sebera a Tirchana.
48Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49Porodila pak Saafa otce Madmanejských, Sévu otce Makbenejských a otce Gibejských. Též dcera Kálefova Axa.
49And the wife of Shaaph the father of Madmannah bore Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibea. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50Ti byli synové Kálefovi, syna Hur prvorozeného Efraty: Sobal otec Kariatjeharimských,
50These were the sons of Caleb. The sons of Hur the first-born of Ephrath: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim;
51Salma otec Betlémských, Charef otec čeledi Betgaderských.
51Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52Měl pak syny Sobal otec Kariatjeharimských: Haroe otce obyvatelů dílu Menuchotských.
52And Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, and half of the Menuhoth.
53A čeledi Kariatjeharimských, Jeterských, Putských, Sumatských a Misraiských. Z těch pošli Zaratští a Estaolští.
53And the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.
54Synové Salmy: Betlémští, Netofatští, Atarotští z čeledi Joábovy, a Zarští, kteříž užívali dílu Menuchotských,
54The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55A čeledi písařů obývajících v Jábezu, Tiratských, Simatských, Suchatských. Ti jsou Cinejští příchozí z Amata, otce čeledi Rechabovy.
55And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
