1Benjamin was the father of Bela, his firstborn; Ashbel was the second born, Aharah the third,
1ובנימן הוליד את בלע בכרו אשבל השני ואחרח השלישי׃
2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
2נוחה הרביעי ורפא החמישי׃
3The sons of Bela: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
3ויהיו בנים לבלע אדר וגרא ואביהוד׃
4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
4ואבישוע ונעמן ואחוח׃
5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
5וגרא ושפופן וחורם׃
6These were the descendants of Ehud who were the heads of the families living in Geba and were exiled to Manahath:
6ואלה בני אחוד אלה הם ראשי אבות ליושבי גבע ויגלום אל מנחת׃
7Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who carried them into exile and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
7ונעמן ואחיה וגרא הוא הגלם והוליד את עזא ואת אחיחד׃
8Shaharaim had sons in the country of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara.
8ושחרים הוליד בשדה מואב מן שלחו אתם חושים ואת בערא נשיו׃
9His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
9ויולד מן חדש אשתו את יובב ואת צביא ואת מישא ואת מלכם׃
10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.

11He also had sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.

13and Beriah and Shema (who were the heads of families of the inhabitants of Aijalon and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath).

15Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

17Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
21ועדיה ובראיה ושמרת בני שמעי׃
22Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
22וישפן ועבר ואליאל׃
23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
23ועבדון וזכרי וחנן׃
24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
24וחנניה ועילם וענתתיה׃
25Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
25ויפדיה ופניאל בני ששק׃
26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
26ושמשרי ושחריה ועתליה׃
27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
27ויערשיה ואליה וזכרי בני ירחם׃
28All these were heads of families, the chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
28אלה ראשי אבות לתלדותם ראשים אלה ישבו בירושלם׃
29Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah,
29ובגבעון ישבו אבי גבעון ושם אשתו מעכה׃
30and Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,
30ובנו הבכור עבדון וצור וקיש ובעל ונדב׃
31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,
31וגדור ואחיו וזכר׃
32and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah. These also lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.
32ומקלות הוליד את שמאה ואף המה נגד אחיהם ישבו בירושלם עם אחיהם׃
33Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
33ונר הוליד את קיש וקיש הוליד את שאול ושאול הוליד את יהונתן ואת מלכי שוע ואת אבינדב ואת אשבעל׃
34The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, and Merib-baal was the father of Micah.

35The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

37Moza was the father of Binea. Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

38Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
38ולאצל ששה בנים ואלה שמותם עזריקם בכרו וישמעאל ושעריה ועבדיה וחנן כל אלה בני אצל׃
39The sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam was his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third.
39ובני עשק אחיו אולם בכרו יעוש השני ואליפלט השלשי׃
40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and they had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Benjamin.
40ויהיו בני אולם אנשים גברי חיל דרכי קשת ומרבים בנים ובני בנים מאה וחמשים כל אלה מבני בנימן׃
