World English Bible
1Na Job el sifil mutawauk in kaskas:
1Job again took up his parable, and said,
2“Saok moul luk uh in ku in sifil folokla Oana ke pacl se God El tuh karinginyu ah.
2“Oh that I were as in the months of old, as in the days when God watched over me;
3In pacl sac God El tuh wiyu na pacl nukewa, Ac ase kalem nu sik ke nga fufahsryesr in lohsr uh.
3when his lamp shone on my head, and by his light I walked through darkness,
4In len ingo pa nga tuh arulana fokoko, Ac asruoki lun God nu sik arulana karingin inkul sik wo.
4as I was in my prime, when the friendship of God was in my tent,
5God Kulana El tuh arulana wiyu, Ac tulik nutik nukewa elos muta yuruk.
5when the Almighty was yet with me, and my children were around me,
6Yohk sronin titi lun cow ac nani nutik, Ac eot in itat olive nu ke oil, yohk oil soror kac.
6when my steps were washed with butter, and the rock poured out streams of oil for me,
7Pacl nukewa ma mwet matu in siti uh ac toeni, Ac nga eis acn sik inmasrlolos uh,
7when I went out to the city gate, when I prepared my seat in the street.
8Mwet fusr uh ac sa na sekinyula elos fin liyeyuyak, Ac mukul matu elos tuyak in akkalemye akfulat lalos nu sik.
8The young men saw me and hid themselves. The aged rose up and stood.
9Mwet kol uh ac tui pac tila sramsram;
9The princes refrained from talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.
10Finne mwet ma fulat selos uh, ac misla pac.
10The voice of the nobles was hushed, and their tongue stuck to the roof of their mouth.
11“Mwet nukewa su liyeyu meet, ku lohng sramsram keik, Elos ac kaksakinyu, ac srumunna woiyen orekma luk.
11For when the ear heard me, then it blessed me, and when the eye saw me, it commended me,
12Ke mwet sukasrup elos tuh ngusr, nga kasrelos; Nga kasru pac tulik mukaimtal ma wangin mwet in kasrelos.
12because I delivered the poor who cried, and the fatherless also, who had no one to help him,
13Mwet ma muta in ongoiya elos kaksakinyu, Ac katinmas uh elos arulana engankin kasru nga oru nu selos.
13the blessing of him who was ready to perish came on me, and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
14Pacl nukewa nga oru na ma suwohs ac pwaye.
14I put on righteousness, and it clothed me. My justice was as a robe and a diadem.
15Nga oana atronmuta nu sin mwet kun, Ac oana nia nu sin mwet ma tia ku in fahsr.
15I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame.
16Nga oana sie papa nu sin mwet sukasrup, Ac nga tuh kasru mwetsac uh in kutena mwe ongoiya nu selos.
16I was a father to the needy. I researched the cause of him whom I didn’t know.
17Nga kunausla ku lun mwet sulallal, Ac molela mwet ma elos akkeokye uh.
17I broke the jaws of the unrighteous and plucked the prey out of his teeth.
18“Pacl nukewa nga tuh nunku mu moul luk ac loes na, Ac nga ac misa na in misla yurin tulik nutik, in lohm sik sifacna.
18Then I said, ‘I will die in my own house, I will count my days as the sand.
19Nga tuh oana soko sak ma oasr kof ke okah uh in pacl nukewa, Ac lah kac uh aksroksrokyeyuk pacl nukewa ke aunfong uh.
19My root is spread out to the waters. The dew lies all night on my branch.
20Mwet nukewa tiana tui in kaksakinyu, Ac ku luk aksasuyeyuk pacl e nukewa.
20My glory is fresh in me. My bow is renewed in my hand.’
21Pacl nga sang kas in luti uh, mwet uh ac misla Ac lohma in lohng ma nga fahk uh;
21“Men listened to me, waited, and kept silence for my counsel.
22Na ke safla sramsram luk uh, wanginna ma elos ac ku in sifilpa fahk. Kas luk ac tili nu in elos oana tulin af nu fin fohk pao;
22After my words they didn’t speak again. My speech fell on them.
23Mwet uh ac arulana engan in eis kas luk uh Oana ke mwet ima uh engan ke ac sifil afi.
23They waited for me as for the rain. Their mouths drank as with the spring rain.
24Nga israsr srisrik nu selos ke pacl wanginla finsrak lalos; Ac ngetnget kulang luk akkeyalos.
24I smiled on them when they had no confidence. They didn’t reject the light of my face.
25Nga pa kololos, ac wotela ma elos in oru; Nga tuh kololos oana sie tokosra su kol un mwet mweun lal, Ac nga akwoyalos ke pacl elos asor.
25I chose out their way, and sat as chief. I lived as a king in the army, as one who comforts the mourners.
