1(51-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David; (51-2) When Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. (51-3) Be gracious unto me, O God, according to Thy mercy; according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgressions.
1神啊，求你按你的慈爱怜恤我！ 按你丰盛的慈悲涂抹我的过犯！
2(51-4) Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
2求你将我的罪孽洗除净尽， 并洁除我的罪！
3(51-5) For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.
3因为，我知道我的过犯； 我的罪常在我面前。
4(51-6) Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in Thy sight; that Thou mayest be justified when Thou speakest, and be in the right when Thou judgest.
4我向你犯罪，惟独得罪了你； 在你眼前行了这恶， 以致你责备我的时候显为公义， 判断我的时候显为清正。
5(51-7) Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
5我是在罪孽里生的， 在我母亲怀胎的时候就有了罪。
6(51-8) Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts; make me, therefore, to know wisdom in mine inmost heart.
6你所喜爱的是内里诚实； 你在我隐密处，必使我得智慧。
7(51-9) Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
7求你用牛膝草洁净我，我就干净； 求你洗涤我，我就比雪更白。
8(51-10) Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast crushed may rejoice.
8求你使我得听欢喜快乐 的声音 ， 使你所压伤的骨头可以踊跃。
9(51-11) Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
9求你掩面不看我的罪， 涂抹我一切的罪孽。
10(51-12) Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me.
10神啊，求你为我造清洁的心， 使我里面重新有正直的灵。
11(51-13) Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
11不要丢弃我，使我离开你的面； 不要从我收回你的圣灵。
12(51-14) Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and let a willing spirit uphold me.
12求你使我仍得救恩之乐， 赐我乐意的灵扶持我，
13(51-15) Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall return unto Thee.
13我就把你的道指教有过犯的人， 罪人必归顺你。
14(51-16) Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; so shall my tongue sing aloud of Thy righteousness.
14神啊，你是拯救我的 神； 求你救我脱离流人血的罪！ 我的舌头就高声歌唱你的公义。
15(51-17) O Lord, open Thou my lips; and my mouth shall declare Thy praise.
15主啊，求你使我嘴唇张开， 我的口便传扬赞美你的话！
16(51-18) For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
16你本不喜爱祭物，若喜爱，我就献上； 燔祭，你也不喜悦。
17(51-19) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.
17神所要 的祭就是忧伤的灵； 神啊，忧伤痛悔的心，你必不轻看。
18(51-20) Do good in Thy favour unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem.
18求你随你的美意善待 锡安 ， 建造 耶路撒冷 的城墙。
19(51-21) Then wilt Thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt-offering and whole offering; then will they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.
19那时，你必喜爱公义的祭 和燔祭并全牲的燔祭； 那时，人必将公牛献在你坛上。
