1(51-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David; (51-2) When Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. (51-3) Be gracious unto me, O God, according to Thy mercy; according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgressions.
1အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ ကျေးဇူး ပြုချင်သော စေတနာစိတ် တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုသနား တော်မူပါ။ စုံမက် တော်မူခြင်း ကရုဏာများ ပြားသည်နှင့်အညီ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် လွန်ကျူး ခြင်း အပြစ်ကိုဖြေ တော်မူပါ။
2(51-4) Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
2ဒုစရိုက် အညစ်အကြေးကို အကုန်အစင်ဆေးကြော ၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို သန့်ရှင်း စေတော်မူပါ။
3(51-5) For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.
3အကျွန်ုပ် လွန်ကျူး ပါပြီဟု ဝန်ချလျက် ကိုယ် အပြစ် ကို အစဉ် မပြတ်အောက်မေ့လျက်နေပါ၏။
4(51-6) Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in Thy sight; that Thou mayest be justified when Thou speakest, and be in the right when Thou judgest.
4ကိုယ်တော် ကို ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကိုသာ ပြစ်မှား ၍ မျက်မှောက် တော်၌ ပင် မ တရားသောအမှုကို ပြု ပါပြီ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ မိန့် တော်မူချက်သည် ဖြောင့် ပါ၏။ တရား စီရင်တော်မူချက်သည် အပြစ် လွတ်ပါ၏။
5(51-7) Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
5အကျွန်ုပ် သည် မွေး စကပင် အပြစ် ပါလျက် ရှိ၏။ အမိ ဝမ်းထဲမှာ ပဋိသန္ဓေ ယူစဉ်ပင် အပြစ် စွဲ၏။
6(51-8) Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts; make me, therefore, to know wisdom in mine inmost heart.
6ဟုတ်မှန် ဖြောင့်မတ် သော စိတ် နှလုံးကို နှစ်သက် တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ စိတ် နှလုံးထဲမှာ ပညာ ကို သွန်သင် တော်မူပါ။
7(51-9) Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
7အကျွန်ုပ် ကို စင်ကြယ် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဟုဿုပ် ပင် ညွန့်နှင့် သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းမင်္ဂလာကို ပေးတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို မိုဃ်းပွင့် ထက် သာ၍ဖြူ စေခြင်းငှါ ဆေးကြော တော်မူ ပါ။
8(51-10) Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast crushed may rejoice.
8စိတ်သက်သာဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်း ရှိမည်အကြောင်းစကားကို အကျွန်ုပ် အားကြား စေတော်မူပါ။ သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ ချိုးဖဲ့ တော်မူသောအရိုး တို့သည် ရွှင်မြူး ခြင်းရှိကြပါလိမ့် မည်။
9(51-11) Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
9အကျွန်ုပ် လွန်ကျူး ခြင်း ဒုစရိုက်တို့မှ မျက်နှာ တော်လွှဲ ၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အပြစ် ရှိသမျှ တို့ကိုလည်းဖြေ တော်မူ ပါ။
10(51-12) Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me.
10အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အထဲ ၌ စင်ကြယ် သောနှလုံး ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူပါ။ မြဲမြံ တည်ကြည်သော သဘော ကို အသစ် ပြုပြင်တော်မူပါ။
11(51-13) Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
11အကျွန်ုပ် ကို အထံ တော်ထဲ က နှင်ထုတ် တော် မ မူပါနှင့်။ သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို ရုပ်သိမ်း တော် မ မူပါနှင့်။
12(51-14) Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and let a willing spirit uphold me.
12ကယ်တင် တော်မူခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်သော ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်း အခွင့်ကို ပြန် ၍ ပေးသနားတော်မူပါ။ ကြည်ညိုသော စေတနာ စိတ် သဘောသည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုထောက် မပါ စေသော။
13(51-15) Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall return unto Thee.
13အကျွန်ုပ်သည်လည်း မ တရားသောသူတို့အား တရားလမ်း ကို ပြသသွန်သင် ပါမည်။ အပြစ် ရှိသောသူတို့ သည် ကိုယ်တော် ထံ သို့ပြန် ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။
14(51-16) Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; so shall my tongue sing aloud of Thy righteousness.
14အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကယ်တင် တော်မူ သောဘုရား ၊ လူ အသက်ကို သတ်ခြင်းအပြစ်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကင်းလွတ် စေတော်မူပါ။ တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ် လျှာ သည် ရွှင်လန်းစွာ သီချင်း ဆိုပါမည်။
15(51-17) O Lord, open Thou my lips; and my mouth shall declare Thy praise.
15အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ နှုတ် ကို ဖွင့် တော်မူ ပါ။ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ၍ မြွက်ဆို ပါမည်။
16(51-18) For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
16ယဇ် ပူဇော်ခြင်းကို အလို တော်မ ရှိ။ သို့မဟုတ် လျှင် ယဇ်ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ မီးရှို့ သော ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းကိုပင် နှစ်သက် တော်မ မူ။
17(51-19) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.
17ဘုရား သခင်နှစ်သက်တော်မူသောယဇ် မူကား၊ ကျိုးပဲ့ သောစိတ် ပေတည်း။ အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကျိုးပဲ့ ကြေမွသော နှလုံး ကို ငြင်းပယ် တော်မ မူ တတ်ပါ။
18(51-20) Do good in Thy favour unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem.
18စေတနာ စိတ်တော်ရှိ၍ ဇိအုန် တောင်ကို ကျေးဇူး ပြုတော်မူပါ။ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ရိုး ကို တည် စေတော်မူပါ။
19(51-21) Then wilt Thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt-offering and whole offering; then will they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.
19ထိုအခါ တရား သဖြင့် ပူဇော်သောယဇ် ၊ မီးရှို့ သောယဇ်၊ တကိုယ် လုံးမီးရှို့သောယဇ်နှင့် မွေ့လျော် တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအခါ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ် မှာ နွား လား တို့ကို ယဇ် ပူဇော်ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။
