1IN THE beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1အစ အဦး၌ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ကောင်းကင် နှင့် မြေကြီး ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူ၏။
2Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.
2မြေကြီး သည်အဆင်း သဏ္ဍာန်မရှိ၊ လွတ်လပ် လဟာဖြစ်၏။ နက်နဲ ရာအရပ် ကို မှောင်မိုက် ဖုံးလွှမ်း ၍ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် ရေ မျက်နှာပြင် ပေါ် မှာ လှုပ်ရှား တော်မူ၏။
3And God said: 'Let there be light.' And there was light.
3ဘုရား သခင်ကလည်း အလင်း ဖြစ်စေ ဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိ၍ အလင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
4And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
4ထို အလင်း ကောင်း သည်ကို ဘုရား သခင်မြင် ၍ ၊ အလင်း နှင့် မှောင်မိုက် ကိုပိုင်းခြား ခွဲထားတော်မူ၏။
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
5အလင်း ကို နေ့ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း ၊ မှောင်မိုက် ကို ညဉ့် ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း ၊ ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ် တော်မူ၍ ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် ပဌမ နေ့ရက် ဖြစ် လေ၏။
6And God said: 'Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.'
6တဖန် ဘုရားသခင် က ရေ အလယ် ၌ မိုဃ်း မျက်နှာကြက်ဖြစ် စေ၊ ရေ နှင့် ရေ ချင်း ခြားနား စေဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိသဖြင့်၊
7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
7မိုဃ်း မျက်နှာကြက်ကို ဘုရား သခင်ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူ၍ ၊ မိုဃ်း မျက်နှာကြက်အောက် ၌ ရှိသောရေ နှင့်၊ မိုဃ်း မျက်နှာကြက်အပေါ် ၌ ရှိသောရေ ကို ပိုင်းခြား တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
8And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
8မိုဃ်း မျက်နှာကြက်ကိုလည်း မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် ဘုရား သခင်ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ်တော်မူ ၍ ၊ ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် ဒုတိယ နေ့ ရက်ဖြစ် လေ၏။
9And God said: 'Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.' And it was so.
9တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်အောက် ၌ ရှိသောရေ စုဝေး စေ၊ ကုန်း ပေါ် စေဟု အမိန့် တော် ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
10And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good.
10ကုန်း ကိုမြေ ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ရေ စုဝေး ရာကို ပင်လယ် ဟူသောအမည် ဖြင့်၎င်း ၊ ဘုရား သခင်ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ်တော်မူ၍ ထို အမှုအရာကောင်း သည်ကို ဘုရား သခင်မြင် တော်မူ၏။
11And God said: 'Let the earth put forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.' And it was so.
11တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က၊ မြေ သည် မြက် ပင်ကို၎င်း၊ စပါး သီးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါး ပင် ကို၎င်း၊ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ မျိုးစေ့ ပါလျက် သစ်သီး မျိုးကို ဖြစ် စေသော သစ်ပင်ကို၎င်း၊ ပေါက် စေဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
12And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
12မြေ သည်မြက် ပင်ကို၎င်း စပါး သီးမျိုးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါး ပင်ကို၎င်း၊ မိမိ ၌ မျိုးစေ့ ပါလျက် သစ်သီး မျိုး ကို ဖြစ်စေ သော သစ်ပင် ကို၎င်း ပေါက် စေ၏။
13And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
13ထို အမှုအရာကောင်း သည်ကို ဘုရား သခင်မြင် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် တတိယ နေ့ရက် ဖြစ် လေ၏။
14And God said: 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;
14တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က၊ နေ့ နှင့် ညဉ့် ကို ပိုင်းခြား စေခြင်းငှါ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက် ၌ အလင်း အိမ် တည် စေ၊ နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာ၊ ချိန်းချက် သောအချိန်၊ နေ့ ရက်အပိုင်းအခြား၊ နှစ် အပိုင်းအခြားဘို့ ဖြစ် စေ။
15and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.' And it was so.
15မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက် ၌ တည်၍ မြေကြီး လင်း စရာ အလင်း အိမ်ဖြစ် စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ သည့်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
16And God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and the stars.
16ထိုသို့ ဘုရား သခင်သည် အလင်း အိမ်ကြီး နှစ် လုံးတည်းဟူသောနေ့ ကိုအုပ်စိုး ရသောအကြီး တလုံး၊ ညဉ့် ကို အုပ်စိုး ရသောအငယ် တလုံးနှင့်တကွ ကြယ် များတို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊
17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
17မြေကြီး ၌ လင်း စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ နေ့ နှင့် ညဉ့် ကို အုပ်စိုး ၍ အလင်း နှင့် မှောင်မိုက် ကို ပိုင်းခြား စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း ၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက် ၌ ဘုရား သခင်ထား တော်မူ၏။
18and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
18ထို အမှုအရာ ကောင်း သည်ကို ဘုရား သခင် မြင် တော်မူ၍၊
19And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
19ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် စတုတ္ထ နေ့ ရက်ဖြစ် လေ၏။
20And God said: 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.'
20တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က အသက် ရှင်၍ လှုပ်ရှားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် တို့ကို ရေ သည်များပြား စွာ မွေးဘွားစေ။ ငှက် တို့လည်း မြေ ပေါ် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက် ပြင် ဝယ်ပျံ စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။
21And God created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that creepeth, wherewith the waters swarmed, after its kind, and every winged fowl after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
21ထိုသို့လျှင် ရေသည် တိရစ္ဆာန်အမျိုး အလိုက် များပြား စွာ မွေးဘွား၍၊ ငါးကြီး အစ ရှိသော အသက်ရှင် ၍ လှုပ်ရှား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် အပေါင်း တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ပျံ တတ်သော ငှက် မျိုးအပေါင်း တို့ကို၎င်း ဘုရား သခင်ဖန်ဆင်း ၍၊ ထို အမူအရာကောင်း သည်ကို မြင် တော်မူ၏။
22And God blessed them, saying: 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.'
22ဘုရား သခင်ကလည်း များပြား စွာ မွေးဘွား ကြလော့။ ပင်လယ် ရေ များကို ပြည့် စေကြလော့။ ငှက် တို့ လည်း မြေ ပေါ်၌ များပြား စေသတည်းဟု ထို တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူ၍၊
23And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
23ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် ပဉ္စမ နေ့ ရက်ဖြစ် လေ၏။
24And God said: 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.' And it was so.
24တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က၊ မြေ သည် အသက်ရှင် သောသတ္တဝါ မျိုးတည်းဟူသောသားယဉ်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ တွား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ သားရဲ မျိုး တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ မွေးဘွား စေဟုအမိန့် တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
25And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
25ထို သို့ ဘုရား သခင်သည် သားရဲ မျိုး၊ သားယဉ်မျိုး၊ မြေ ပေါ်မှာ တွား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် မျိုး အပေါင်းတို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်း ၍ ၊ ထို အမှုအရာကောင်း သည်ကို မြင် တော်မူ၏။
26And God said: 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.'
26တဖန် ဘုရား သခင်က ငါ တို့ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်နှင့်အညီတသဏ္ဍန်တည်း လူ ကို ဖန်ဆင်း ကြစို့။ သူသည် ပင်လယ် ငါး တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ငှက် တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ သား ယဉ်တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ မြေ တပြင်လုံး နှင့်တကွ၊ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ တွား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် အပေါင်း တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ အုပ်စိုး စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။
27And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
27ထိုသို့ ဘုရား သခင်သည် မိမိ ပုံသဏ္ဍန် နှင့်အညီ လူ ကိုဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူ၏။ ဘုရား သခင်၏ ပုံ သဏ္ဍာန် တော်နှင့်အညီ လူယောက်ျား ၊ လူမိန်းမ ကိုဖန်ဆင်း ပြီးလျှင်၊
28And God blessed them; and God said unto them: 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.'
28အချင်းတို့ များပြား စွာမွေးဘွား ကြလော့။ မြေကြီး ကို ပြည့် စေ၍ နိုင် ကြလော့။ ပင်လယ် ငါး တို့ကို၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ငှက် တို့ကို၎င်း၊ အသက် ရှင်၍ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ လှုပ်ရှား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါင်း တို့ကို၎င်းအုပ်စိုး ကြလော့ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၍ ၊ သူ တို့ကိုကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူ၏။
29And God said: 'Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed — to you it shall be for food;
29ဘုရား သခင်ကလည်း ကြည့်ရှု လော့။ မြေ တပြင်လုံး ၌ စပါး သီးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါး ပင် အမျိုးမျိုး တို့ကို၎င်း၊ မျိုးစေ့ ကိုဖြစ်စေသော အသီး နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော သစ်ပင် အမျိုးမျိုး တို့ကို၎င်း၊ သင် တို့စားစရာ ဘို့ ငါပေး ၏။
30and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food.' And it was so.
30မြေ သား၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ငှက် ၊ အသက် ရှင်၍ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ တွား တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်မျိုးအပေါင်း တို့ စားစရာ ဘို့ ၊ မြက် ပင် အမျိုးမျိုး တို့ကို ငါပေးမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် လေ၏။
31And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
31ဘုရား သခင်သည် မိမိဖန်ဆင်း သမျှ သောအရာတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှု လျှင် ၊ အလွန် ကောင်း သည်ကို မြင် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ည ဦးနှင့် နံနက် သည် ဆဌမ နေ့ ရက်ဖြစ် လေ၏။
