1IN THE eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying:
1大流士 王 第二年八月，耶和华的话临到 易多 的孙子、 比利家 的儿子先知 撒迦利亚 ，说：
2'The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
2「耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。
3Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Return unto Me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
3所以你要对 以色列 人说，万军之耶和华如此说：你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。
4Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Return ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings; but they did not hear, nor attend unto Me, saith the LORD.
4不要效法你们列祖。从前的先知呼叫他们说，万军之耶和华如此说：『你们要回头离开你们的恶道恶行。』他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。
5Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
5你们的列祖在哪里呢？那些先知能永远存活吗？
6But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? so that they turned and said: Like as the LORD of hosts purposed to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath He dealt with us.'
6只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗？他们就回头，说：『万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。』」
7Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying —
7大流士 第二年十一月，就是细罢特月二十四日，耶和华的话临到 易多 的孙子、 比利家 的儿子先知 撒迦利亚 ，说：
8I saw in the night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle-trees that were in the bottom; and behind him there were horses, red, sorrel, and white.
8「我夜间观看，见一人骑着红马，站在洼地番石榴树中间。在他身后又有红马、黄马，和白马。」
9Then said I: 'O my lord, what are these?' And the angel that spoke with me said unto me: 'I will show thee what these are.'
9我对与我说话的天使说：「主啊，这是什么意思？」他说：「我要指示你这是什么意思。」
10And the man that stood among the myrtle-trees answered and said: 'These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.'
10那站在番石榴树中间的人说：「这是奉耶和华差遣在遍地走来走去的。」
11And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle-trees, and said: 'We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.'
11那些骑马的对站在番石榴树中间耶和华的使者说：「我们已在遍地走来走去，见全地都安息平静。」
12Then the angel of the LORD spoke and said: 'O LORD of hosts, how long wilt Thou not have compassion on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which Thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
12于是，耶和华的使者说：「万军之耶和华啊，你恼恨 耶路撒冷 和 犹大 的城邑已经七十年，你不施怜悯要到几时呢？」
13And the LORD answered the angel that spoke with me with good words, even comforting words —
13耶和华就用美善的安慰话回答那与我说话的天使。
14so the angel that spoke with me said unto me: 'Proclaim thou, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy;
14与我说话的天使对我说：「你要宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：我为 耶路撒冷 为 锡安 ，心里极其火热。
15and I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, and they helped for evil.
15我甚恼怒那安逸的列国，因我从前稍微恼怒 我民 ，他们就加害过分。
16Therefore thus saith the LORD: I return to Jerusalem with compassions: My house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.
16所以耶和华如此说：现今我回到 耶路撒冷 ，仍施怜悯，我的殿必重建在其中，准绳必拉在 耶路撒冷 之上。这是万军之耶和华说的。
17Again, proclaim, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.'
17你要再宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：我的城邑必再丰盛发达。耶和华必再安慰 锡安 ，拣选 耶路撒冷 。」
18(2-1) And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
18我举目观看，见有四角。
19(2-2) And I said unto the angel that spoke with me: 'What are these?' And he said unto me: 'These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.'
19我就问与我说话的天使说：「这是什么意思？」他回答说：「这是打散 犹大 、 以色列 ，和 耶路撒冷 的角。」
20(2-3) And the LORD showed me four craftsmen.
20耶和华又指四个匠人给我看。
21(2-4) Then said I: 'What come these to do?' And he spoke, saying: 'These — the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head — these then are come to frighten them, to cast down the horns of the nations, which lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.'
21我说：「他们来做什么呢？」他说：「这是打散 犹大 的角，使人不敢抬头；但这些匠人来威吓列国，打掉他们的角，就是举起打散 犹大 地的角。」
