1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?
1Cantique des degrés. Je lève mes yeux vers les montagnes… D’où me viendra le secours?
2My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.
7L’Éternel te gardera de tout mal, Il gardera ton âme;
8The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
8L’Éternel gardera ton départ et ton arrivée, Dès maintenant et à jamais.
