1Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do not they that know Him see His days?
1全能者既定期 罰惡 ， 為何不使認識他的人看見那日子呢？
2There are that remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed them.
2有人挪移地界， 搶奪群畜而牧養。
3They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
3他們拉去孤兒的驢， 強取寡婦的牛為當頭。
4They turn the needy out of the way; the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
4他們使窮人離開正道； 世上的貧民盡都隱藏。
5Behold, as wild asses in the wilderness they go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food; the desert yieldeth them bread for their children.
5這些貧窮人如同野驢出到曠野，殷勤尋找食物； 他們 靠着 野地給兒女糊口，
6They cut his provender in the field; and they despoil the vineyard of the wicked.
6收割 別人 田間的禾稼， 摘取惡人餘剩的葡萄，
7They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.
7終夜赤身無衣， 天氣寒冷毫無遮蓋，
8They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
8在山上被大雨淋濕， 因沒有避身之處就挨近磐石。
9There are that pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor;
9又有人從母懷中搶奪孤兒， 強取窮人的 衣服 為當頭，
10So that they go about naked without clothing, and being hungry they carry the sheaves;
10使人赤身無衣，到處流行， 且因飢餓扛抬禾捆，
11They make oil within the rows of these men; they tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
11在那些人的圍牆內造油，醡酒， 自己還口渴。
12From out of the populous city men groan, and the soul of the wounded crieth out; yet God imputeth it not for unseemliness.
12在多民的城內有人唉哼， 受傷的人哀號； 上帝卻不理會 那惡人 的愚妄。
13These are of them that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
13又有人背棄光明， 不認識光明的道， 不住在光明的路上。
14The murderer riseth with the light, to kill the poor and needy; and in the night he is as a thief.
14殺人的黎明起來， 殺害困苦窮乏人， 夜間又作盜賊。
15The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying: 'No eye shall see me'; and he putteth a covering on his face.
15姦夫等候黃昏， 說：必無眼能見我， 就把臉蒙蔽。
16In the dark they dig through houses; they shut themselves up in the day-time; they know not the light.
16盜賊黑夜挖窟窿； 白日躲藏， 並不認識光明。
17For the shadow of death is to all of them as the morning; for they know the terrors of the shadow of death.
17他們看早晨如幽暗， 因為他們曉得幽暗的驚駭。
18He is swift upon the face of the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth; he turneth not by the way of the vineyards.
18這些惡人猶如浮萍 快快 飄去 。 他們所得的分在世上被咒詛； 他們不得再走葡萄園的路。
19Drought and heat consume the snow waters; so doth the nether-world those that have sinned.
19乾旱炎熱消沒雪水； 陰間也如此 消沒 犯罪之輩。
20The womb forgetteth him; the worm feedeth sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and unrighteousness is broken as a tree.
20懷他的母要忘記他； 蟲子要吃他，覺得甘甜； 他不再被人記念。 不義 的人 必如樹折斷。
21He devoureth the barren that beareth not; and doeth not good to the widow.
21他惡待不懷孕不生養的婦人， 不善待寡婦。
22He draweth away the mighty also by his power; he riseth up, and he trusteth not his own life.
22然而上帝用能力保全有勢力的人； 那性命難保的人仍然興起。
23Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth, yet His eyes are upon their ways.
23上帝使他們安穩，他們就有所倚靠； 上帝的眼目也看顧他們的道路。
24They are exalted for a little while, and they are gone; yea, they are brought low, they are gathered in as all others, and wither as the tops of the ears of corn.
24他們被高舉，不過片時就沒有了； 他們降為卑，被除滅，與眾人一樣， 又如穀穗被割。
25And if it be not so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
25若不是這樣，誰能證實我是說謊的， 將我的言語駁為虛空呢？
