1La Eternulo aŭskultu vin en tago de mizero; Defendu vin la nomo de Dio de Jakob.
1May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high,
2Li sendu al vi helpon el la sanktejo, Kaj el Cion Li vin fortigu.
2send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,
3Li rememoru ĉiujn viajn oferdonojn, Kaj via brulofero aperu grasa antaŭ Li. Sela.
3remember all your offerings, and accept your burned sacrifice. Selah.
4Li donu al vi tion, kion deziras via koro; Kaj ĉiujn viajn intencojn Li plenumu.
4May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.
5Ni estos gajaj pro Via venko, Kaj pro la nomo de nia Dio ni levos standardon. La Eternulo plenumu ĉiujn viajn petojn.
5We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May the LORD grant all your requests.
6Nun mi ekscias, ke la Eternulo savas Sian sanktoleiton; Li aŭskultas lin el Sia sankta ĉielo, Forte savas lin per Sia dekstra mano.
6Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.
7Unuj fidas veturilojn, aliaj ĉevalojn; Sed ni alvokas la nomon de la Eternulo, nia Dio.
7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8Ili ŝanceliĝas kaj falas, Kaj ni staras kaj tenas nin forte.
8They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.
9Ho Eternulo, savu; La Reĝo respondu al ni, kiam ni vokas al Li.
9Save, LORD! Let the King answer us when we call!
