1Mou fakamālō kia Sihova. Hiva kia Sihova ʻaki ʻae hiva foʻou, mo e fakamālō kiate ia ʻi he fakataha ʻoe kakai māʻoniʻoni.
1Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: let his praise be in the church of the saints.
2Ke fiefia ʻa ʻIsileli ʻiate ia naʻa ne ngaohi ia: ke fiefia ʻae fānau ʻa Saione ʻi honau Tuʻi.
2Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: and let the children of Sion be joyful in their king.
3Kenau fakamālō ki hono huafa ʻi he meʻe: kenau hiva fakamālō kiate ia ʻaki ʻae lali iiki mo e haʻape.
3Let them praise his name in choir: let them sing to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.
4He ʻoku fiefia ʻa Sihova ʻi hono kakai te ne teuteu ʻae angamalū ʻaki ʻae fakamoʻui.
4For the Lord is well pleased with his people: and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.
5Ke fiefia ʻae kakai māʻoniʻoni ʻi he nāunau: kenau hiva kalanga, ʻi honau ngaahi mohenga.
5The saints shall rejoice in glory: they shall be joyful in their beds.
6Ke ʻi honau ngutu ʻae fakamālō lahi ki he ʻOtua, pea ʻi honau nima ʻae heletā ʻoku fakatoumata;
6The high praise of God shall be in their mouth: and two-edged swords in their hands:
7Ke ʻatu ʻae totongi ki he hiteni, mo e ngaahi tautea ki he kakai:
7To execute vengeance upon the nations, chastisements among the people:
8Ke haʻisia honau ngaahi tuʻi ʻaki ʻae ukamea fihifihi, mo honau houʻeiki ʻaki ʻae ngaahi haʻi ukamea;
8To bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron.
9Ke fai kiate kinautolu ʻae fakamaau kuo tohi: kuo pehē ʻae hakeakiʻi ʻo ʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē. Mou fakamālō kia Sihova.
9To execute upon them the judgment that is written: this glory is to all his saints. Alleluia.
