1Hallelujah. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
1Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.
2I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being.
2The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
3Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his dust; in that very day his thoughts perish.
4Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.
5Happy is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
5Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.
6Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is; who keepeth truth for ever;
6The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.
7Who executeth justice for the oppressed; who giveth bread to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners;
7Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.
8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind; the LORD raiseth up them that are bowed down; the LORD loveth the righteous;
8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.
9The LORD preserveth the strangers; He upholdeth the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked He maketh crooked.
9Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10The LORD will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Hallelujah.
10He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.
