1And the LORD spoke unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying:
1พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวกับโมเสสบนภูเขาซีนายว่า
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
2“จงพูดกับชาวอิสราเอลและบอกพวกเขาว่า ‘เมื่อพวกเจ้าเข้าไปในแผ่นดินที่เราจะมอบให้ แผ่นดินนั้นต้องหยุดพักเป็นสะบาโตถวายแด่พระยาห์เวห์
3Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the produce thereof.
3พวกเจ้าจงหว่านพืชในที่เพาะปลูกและตัดแต่งสวนองุ่นเป็นเวลาหกปี แล้วเก็บผลผลิต
4But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath unto the LORD; thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
4แต่ในปีที่เจ็ด แผ่นดินต้องมีสะบาโตแห่งการหยุดพักอย่างเคร่งครัด เป็นสะบาโตถวายแด่พระยาห์เวห์ พวกเจ้าห้ามหว่านพืชในที่เพาะปลูกและห้ามตัดแต่งสวนองุ่น
5That which groweth of itself of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, and the grapes of thy undressed vine thou shalt not gather; it shall be a year of solemn rest for the land.
5พืชที่งอกขึ้นเองจากผลเก็บเกี่ยวของพวกเจ้าห้ามเกี่ยว และองุ่นจากเถาที่ไม่ได้ตัดแต่งห้ามเก็บ ปีนั้นเป็นปีแห่งการหยุดพักอย่างเคร่งครัดสำหรับแผ่นดิน
6And the sabbath-produce of the land shall be for food for you: for thee, and for thy servant and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant and for the settler by thy side that sojourn with thee;
6ผลผลิตในปีสะบาโตของแผ่นดินจะเป็นอาหารสำหรับพวกเจ้า ทั้งตัวเจ้า ผู้รับใช้ชาย ผู้รับใช้หญิง ลูกจ้าง และคนต่างถิ่นที่พำนักอยู่กับเจ้า
7and for thy cattle, and for the beasts that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be for food.
7ทั้งฝูงสัตว์ของเจ้าและสัตว์ป่าที่อยู่ในแผ่นดินก็จะกินผลผลิตทั้งหมดของแผ่นดินนั้นได้
8And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and there shall be unto thee the days of seven sabbaths of years, even forty and nine years.
8“‘พวกเจ้าต้องนับสะบาโตของปีเจ็ดครั้ง คือเจ็ดคูณเจ็ดปี รวมเป็นสี่สิบเก้าปี
9Then shalt thou make proclamation with the blast of the horn on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement shall ye make proclamation with the horn throughout all your land.
9แล้วในวันที่สิบของเดือนที่เจ็ด จงเป่าแตรเสียงดัง ในวันแห่งการลบล้าง พวกเจ้าต้องเป่าแตรไปทั่วแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้า
10And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
10พวกเจ้าต้องทำให้ปีที่ห้าสิบเป็นปีศักดิ์สิทธิ์ และประกาศอิสรภาพทั่วแผ่นดินแก่ผู้อาศัยทุกคน ปีนั้นเป็นปีจูบิลีสำหรับพวกเจ้า แต่ละคนต้องกลับไปยังที่ดินของตน และแต่ละคนต้องกลับไปหาครอบครัวของตน
11A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you; ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of the undressed vines.
11ปีที่ห้าสิบนั้นเป็นปีจูบิลีสำหรับพวกเจ้า พวกเจ้าห้ามหว่าน ห้ามเกี่ยวพืชที่งอกขึ้นเอง และห้ามเก็บองุ่นจากเถาที่ไม่ได้ตัดแต่ง
12For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy unto you; ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
12เพราะเป็นปีจูบิลีและเป็นปีศักดิ์สิทธิ์สำหรับพวกเจ้า พวกเจ้ากินผลผลิตที่งอกขึ้นเองจากที่เพาะปลูกได้
13In this year of jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
13“‘ในปีจูบิลีนี้ แต่ละคนต้องกลับไปยังที่ดินของตน
14And if thou sell aught unto thy neighbour, or buy of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not wrong one another.
14“‘ถ้าพวกเจ้าขายสิ่งใดให้เพื่อนบ้าน หรือซื้อสิ่งใดจากเพื่อนบ้าน อย่าเอาเปรียบกัน
15According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the crops he shall sell unto thee.
15ให้เจ้าซื้อจากเพื่อนบ้านโดยคิดตามจำนวนปีที่เหลือจนถึงปีจูบิลี และให้เขาขายแก่เจ้าโดยคิดตามจำนวนปีที่ยังเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตได้
16According to the multitude of the years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of the years thou shalt diminish the price of it; for the number of crops doth he sell unto thee.
16ถ้ายังเหลือปีเก็บเกี่ยวมากก็เพิ่มราคา ถ้าเหลือไม่กี่ปีก็ลดราคา เพราะสิ่งที่เขาขายให้เจ้าคือจำนวนฤดูเก็บเกี่ยวที่เหลืออยู่
17And ye shall not wrong one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am the LORD your God.
17พวกเจ้าอย่าเอาเปรียบกัน แต่จงยำเกรงพระเจ้าของเจ้า เพราะเราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า
18Wherefore ye shall do My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
18“‘ดังนั้นจงปฏิบัติตามกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา รักษาข้อกำหนดของเราและทำตาม แล้วพวกเจ้าจะอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินอย่างปลอดภัย
19And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat until ye have enough, and dwell therein in safety.
19แผ่นดินจะให้ผลผลิต พวกเจ้าจะกินจนอิ่มและอาศัยอยู่ในนั้นอย่างปลอดภัย
20And if ye shall say: 'What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we may not sow, nor gather in our increase';
20ถ้าพวกเจ้าถามว่า “ในปีที่เจ็ดเราจะกินอะไร ในเมื่อเราไม่ได้หว่านและไม่ได้เก็บผลผลิตของเรา?”
21then I will command My blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth produce for the three years.
21เราจะบัญชาให้พรของเรามาถึงพวกเจ้าในปีที่หก และแผ่นดินจะให้ผลผลิตพอสำหรับสามปี
22And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the produce, the old store; until the ninth year, until her produce come in, ye shall eat the old store.
22พวกเจ้าจะหว่านในปีที่แปด แต่ยังคงกินผลผลิตเก่าที่เก็บไว้จนถึงปีที่เก้า จนกว่าผลผลิตใหม่จะออก พวกเจ้าจะกินของเก่าที่เก็บไว้
23And the land shall not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is Mine; for ye are strangers and settlers with Me.
23“‘ห้ามขายที่ดินเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ถาวร เพราะแผ่นดินเป็นของเรา และพวกเจ้าเป็นเพียงคนต่างถิ่นและผู้พำนักชั่วคราวอยู่กับเรา
24And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
24ในแผ่นดินทั้งหมดที่เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของพวกเจ้า ต้องเปิดสิทธิให้ไถ่คืนที่ดินได้
25If thy brother be waxen poor, and sell some of his possession, then shall his kinsman that is next unto him come, and shall redeem that which his brother hath sold.
25“‘ถ้าพี่น้องของเจ้าคนหนึ่งยากจนลงและต้องขายที่ดินบางส่วนของตน ญาติใกล้ชิดที่สุดของเขาต้องมาไถ่คืนสิ่งที่พี่น้องของเขาขายไป
26And if a man have no one to redeem it, and he be waxen rich and find sufficient means to redeem it;
26ถ้าคนนั้นไม่มีผู้ใดมาไถ่คืน แต่ภายหลังเขามีฐานะดีขึ้นและมีเงินพอจะไถ่คืน
27then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; and he shall return unto his possession.
27เขาต้องคำนวณจำนวนปีนับจากวันที่ขาย หักมูลค่าตามปีที่ผ่านไป แล้วคืนส่วนที่เหลือให้คนที่ซื้อไว้ จากนั้นเขาจึงกลับไปครอบครองที่ดินของตนได้
28But if he have not sufficient means to get it back for himself, then that which he hath sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.
28แต่ถ้าเขาไม่มีเงินพอจะไถ่คืน สิ่งที่ขายไปจะอยู่ในมือของผู้ซื้อจนถึงปีจูบิลี เมื่อถึงปีจูบิลี ที่ดินนั้นจะถูกปล่อยคืน และเขาจะกลับไปครอบครองที่ดินของตน
29And if a man sell a dwelling-house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; for a full year shall he have the right of redemption.
29“‘ถ้าผู้ใดขายบ้านพักอาศัยในเมืองที่มีกำแพง เขามีสิทธิไถ่คืนได้ภายในหนึ่งปีเต็มนับจากวันที่ขาย ตลอดหนึ่งปีนั้นเขามีสิทธิไถ่คืน
30And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him that bought it, throughout his generations; it shall not go out in the jubilee.
30ถ้าไม่ไถ่คืนภายในหนึ่งปีเต็ม บ้านในเมืองที่มีกำแพงนั้นจะตกเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ถาวรของผู้ซื้อและลูกหลานของเขาตลอดทุกชั่วอายุ และจะไม่ถูกปล่อยคืนในปีจูบิลี
31But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be reckoned with the fields of the country; they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.
31แต่บ้านในหมู่บ้านที่ไม่มีกำแพงล้อมรอบให้นับรวมกับที่เพาะปลูกในชนบท บ้านเหล่านั้นไถ่คืนได้และต้องถูกปล่อยคืนในปีจูบิลี
32But as for the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, the Levites shall have a perpetual right of redemption.
32“‘ส่วนเมืองของคนเลวี คนเลวีมีสิทธิไถ่คืนบ้านในเมืองที่เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของตนได้ทุกเมื่อ
33And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold in the city of his possession, shall go out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
33ถ้าคนเลวีขายบ้านในเมืองที่เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของตน เขายังมีสิทธิไถ่บ้านนั้นคืน และบ้านนั้นต้องถูกปล่อยคืนในปีจูบิลี เพราะบ้านในเมืองของคนเลวีเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของพวกเขาท่ามกลางชาวอิสราเอล
34But the fields of the open land about their cities may not be sold; for that is their perpetual possession.
34แต่ทุ่งหญ้ารอบเมืองของพวกเขาห้ามขาย เพราะเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ถาวรของพวกเขา
35And if thy brother be waxen poor, and his means fail with thee; then thou shalt uphold him: as a stranger and a settler shall he live with thee.
35“‘ถ้าพี่น้องของเจ้าคนหนึ่งยากจนลงและไม่สามารถเลี้ยงตัวเองได้เมื่ออยู่ท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า เจ้าต้องช่วยพยุงเขาไว้ ให้เขาอาศัยอยู่กับเจ้าเหมือนคนต่างถิ่นและผู้พำนักชั่วคราว
36Take thou no interest of him or increase; but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
36อย่าเรียกดอกเบี้ยหรือหากำไรจากเขา แต่จงยำเกรงพระเจ้าของเจ้า เพื่อพี่น้องของเจ้าจะมีชีวิตอยู่กับเจ้าได้
37Thou shalt not give him thy money upon interest, nor give him thy victuals for increase.
37อย่าให้เขายืมเงินโดยคิดดอกเบี้ย และอย่าให้อาหารแก่เขาเพื่อเอากำไร
38I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.
38เราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า ผู้พาพวกเจ้าออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ เพื่อมอบแผ่นดินคานาอันให้พวกเจ้าและเพื่อเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า
39And if thy brother be waxen poor with thee, and sell himself unto thee, thou shalt not make him to serve as a bondservant.
39“‘ถ้าพี่น้องของเจ้าคนหนึ่งยากจนลงเมื่ออยู่กับเจ้า และขายตัวเองให้เจ้า อย่าให้เขาทำงานรับใช้ในฐานะทาส
40As a hired servant, and as a settler, he shall be with thee; he shall serve with thee unto the year of jubilee.
40เขาต้องอยู่กับเจ้าในฐานะลูกจ้างและผู้พำนักชั่วคราว และรับใช้เจ้าไปจนถึงปีจูบิลี
41Then shall he go out from thee, he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
41แล้วเขากับลูก ๆ จะออกไปจากเจ้า กลับไปหาครอบครัวของตนและกลับไปยังกรรมสิทธิ์ของบรรพบุรุษ
42For they are My servants, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as bondmen.
42เพราะพวกเขาเป็นผู้รับใช้ของเรา ซึ่งเรานำออกมาจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ ห้ามขายพวกเขาเยี่ยงทาส
43Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God.
43อย่าปกครองเขาอย่างโหดร้าย แต่จงยำเกรงพระเจ้าของเจ้า
44And as for thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, whom thou mayest have: of the nations that are round about you, of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
44“‘ส่วนทาสชายและทาสหญิงที่พวกเจ้าอาจมีนั้น พวกเจ้าซื้อทาสชายและหญิงจากชนชาติต่าง ๆ ที่อยู่รอบพวกเจ้าได้
45Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them may ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they have begotten in your land; and they may be your possession.
45พวกเจ้ายังซื้อจากลูกหลานของคนต่างถิ่นที่พำนักอยู่ท่ามกลางพวกเจ้าได้ รวมทั้งจากครอบครัวของพวกเขาที่อยู่กับพวกเจ้าและเกิดในแผ่นดินของพวกเจ้า คนเหล่านั้นจะเป็นทรัพย์สินของพวกเจ้า
46And ye may make them an inheritance for your children after you, to hold for a possession: of them may ye take your bondmen for ever; but over your brethren the children of Israel ye shall not rule, one over another, with rigour.
46พวกเจ้ามอบพวกเขาเป็นมรดกแก่ลูกหลานของพวกเจ้าภายหลังได้ ให้ถือครองเป็นทรัพย์สิน พวกเจ้าใช้คนเหล่านั้นเป็นทาสได้ตลอดไป แต่ในหมู่พี่น้องชาวอิสราเอล พวกเจ้าห้ามปกครองกันอย่างโหดร้าย
47And if a stranger who is a settler with thee be waxen rich, and thy brother be waxen poor beside him, and sell himself unto the stranger who is a settler with thee, or to the offshoot of a stranger's family,
47“‘ถ้าคนต่างถิ่นหรือผู้พำนักชั่วคราวที่อยู่กับเจ้ามั่งคั่งขึ้น ขณะที่พี่น้องของเจ้าที่ยากจนลงขายตัวเองให้คนต่างถิ่นหรือผู้พำนักอยู่กับเจ้า หรือขายตัวให้สมาชิกคนหนึ่งในครอบครัวของคนต่างถิ่น
48after that he is sold he may be redeemed; one of his brethren may redeem him;
48หลังจากขายตัวแล้ว เขายังมีสิทธิได้รับการไถ่คืน พี่น้องคนหนึ่งของเขาอาจไถ่เขาคืนได้
49or his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be waxen rich, he may redeem himself.
49หรือลุงของเขา บุตรชายของลุง หรือญาติใกล้ชิดคนใดในครอบครัวอาจไถ่เขาคืน หรือถ้าเขามีฐานะดีขึ้น เขาอาจไถ่ตัวเองคืนได้
50And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he sold himself to him unto the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.
50เขาต้องคำนวณกับผู้ซื้อ ตั้งแต่ปีที่ขายตัวจนถึงปีจูบิลี ราคาที่ขายตัวต้องคิดตามจำนวนปี โดยให้ถือเวลาที่เขารับใช้อยู่กับผู้ซื้อเหมือนเวลาของลูกจ้าง
51If there be yet many years, according unto them he shall give back the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.
51ถ้ายังเหลืออีกหลายปี เขาต้องคืนเงินค่าไถ่ตามจำนวนปีที่เหลือ โดยคิดจากเงินที่ผู้ซื้อจ่ายซื้อเขา
52And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according unto his years shall he give back the price of his redemption.
52ถ้าเหลืออีกไม่กี่ปีกว่าจะถึงปีจูบิลี เขาต้องคำนวณตามจำนวนปีที่เหลือ และคืนค่าไถ่ตามจำนวนปีที่ต้องรับใช้
53As a servant hired year by year shall he be with him; he shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.
53เขาต้องอยู่กับผู้ซื้อนั้นเหมือนลูกจ้างที่จ้างกันปีต่อปี ผู้ซื้อต้องไม่ปกครองเขาอย่างโหดร้ายต่อหน้าพวกเจ้า
54And if he be not redeemed by any of these means, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, he, and his children with him.
54ถ้าเขาไม่ได้รับการไถ่คืนด้วยวิธีเหล่านี้ เขากับลูก ๆ ต้องได้รับการปล่อยตัวในปีจูบิลี
55For unto Me the children of Israel are servants; they are My servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
55เพราะชาวอิสราเอลเป็นผู้รับใช้ของเรา พวกเขาเป็นผู้รับใช้ของเราซึ่งเรานำออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ เราคือพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า
