1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned five and fifty years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Hephzi-bah.
1มนัสเสห์มีอายุสิบสองปีเมื่อเริ่มครองราชย์ และเขาครองราชย์ในเยรูซาเล็มห้าสิบห้าปี มารดาของเขาชื่อเฮฟซีบาห์
2And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the nations, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
2เขาทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระยาห์เวห์ตามสิ่งน่าเกลียดชังของประชาชาติที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงขับไล่ออกไปต่อหน้าลูกหลานอิสราเอล
3For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as did Ahab king of Israel, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
3เพราะเขาสร้างสถานบูชาบนที่สูงขึ้นใหม่ ทั้งที่เฮเซคียาห์บิดาของเขาได้รื้อถอนสถานบูชาเหล่านั้นไปแล้ว เขาตั้งแท่นบูชาสำหรับบาอัล และสร้างเสาอาเชราห์ เช่นเดียวกับที่อาหับกษัตริย์แห่งอิสราเอลได้ทำ เขากราบไหว้ดวงดาวทั้งท้องฟ้า และรับใช้สิ่งเหล่านั้น
4And he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD said: 'In Jerusalem will I put My name.'
4เขาสร้างแท่นบูชาในพระนิเวศของพระยาห์เวห์ซึ่งพระยาห์เวห์ตรัสถึงว่า “เราจะให้นามของเราอยู่ในเยรูซาเล็ม”
5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
5เขาสร้างแท่นบูชาสำหรับดวงดาวทั้งท้องฟ้าในลานทั้งสองแห่งพระนิเวศของพระยาห์เวห์
6And he made his son to pass through the fire, and practised soothsaying, and used enchantments, and appointed them that divined by a ghost or a familiar spirit: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him.
6เขาให้บุตรชายของเขาผ่านไฟ ใช้เวทมนตร์ ใช้คาถาอาคม และติดต่อกับคนทรงวิญญาณและหมอผี เขาทำสิ่งชั่วร้ายมากมายในสายพระเนตรของพระยาห์เวห์เพื่อยั่วยุให้พระองค์ทรงกริ้ว
7And he set the graven image of Asherah, that he had made, in the house of which the LORD said to David and to Solomon his son: 'In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put My name for ever;
7เขาตั้งรูปแกะสลักของอาเชราห์ที่เขาทำไว้ในพระนิเวศซึ่งพระยาห์เวห์ตรัสแก่ดาวิด และซาโลมอนบุตรของเขาว่า “ในพระนิเวศนี้ และในเยรูซาเล็มซึ่งเราได้เลือกจากเผ่าทั้งหมดของอิสราเอล เราจะให้นามของเราอยู่ตลอดไป
8neither will I cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.'
8เราจะไม่ทำให้อิสราเอลต้องพเนจรออกจากแผ่นดินที่เราให้แก่บรรพบุรุษของพวกเขาอีก ถ้าพวกเขาเพียงแต่ระมัดระวังปฏิบัติตามทุกสิ่งที่เราได้บัญชาพวกเขา และตามธรรมบัญญัติทั้งหมดที่โมเสสผู้รับใช้ของเราบัญชาพวกเขา”
9But they hearkened not; and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than did the nations, whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

10And the LORD spoke by His servants the prophets, saying:
10พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสผ่านผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์คือบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะว่า
11'Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, that were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols;
11“เพราะมนัสเสห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ได้ทำสิ่งน่าเกลียดชังเหล่านี้ และทำชั่วร้ายยิ่งกว่าทุกสิ่งที่ชาวอาโมไรต์ซึ่งอยู่ก่อนเขาได้ทำ ทั้งยังทำให้ยูดาห์ทำบาปด้วยรูปเคารพของเขา
12therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: Behold, I bring such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
12เพราะฉะนั้นพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลตรัสดังนี้ ‘ดูสิ เราจะนำภัยร้ายมาเหนือเยรูซาเล็ม และยูดาห์ จนทุกคนที่ได้ยินเรื่องนี้ หูทั้งสองข้างจะอื้อด้วยความตกตะลึง
13And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
13เราจะขึงเชือกวัดของสะมาเรียเหนือเยรูซาเล็ม และใช้ลูกดิ่งของราชวงศ์อาหับ เราจะเช็ดเยรูซาเล็มเหมือนคนเช็ดจาน คือเช็ดแล้วคว่ำลง
14And I will cast off the remnant of Mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
14เราจะทอดทิ้งผู้ที่เหลืออยู่ซึ่งเป็นมรดกของเรา และมอบพวกเขาไว้ในอำนาจของศัตรู พวกเขาจะกลายเป็นเหยื่อ และของปล้นแก่ศัตรูทั้งหมดของพวกเขา
15because they have done that which is evil in My sight, and have provoked Me, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.'
15เพราะพวกเขาได้ทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายตาของเรา และยั่วยุให้เราโกรธตั้งแต่วันที่บรรพบุรุษของพวกเขาออกจากอียิปต์จนถึงวันนี้’”
16Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
16ยิ่งกว่านั้นมนัสเสห์ยังหลั่งเลือดผู้บริสุทธิ์มากมายจนเลือดเต็มเยรูซาเล็ม จากปลายด้านหนึ่งถึงอีกด้านหนึ่ง นอกเหนือจากบาปที่เขาทำให้ยูดาห์ทำบาปโดยทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระยาห์เวห์
17Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
17ส่วนเหตุการณ์อื่นๆในรัชกาลมนัสเสห์ทุกสิ่งที่เขาทำ และบาปที่เขาทำนั้นไม่ได้เขียนไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารของบรรดากษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์หรือ?
18And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza; and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
18มนัสเสห์ล่วงลับไปอยู่กับบรรพบุรุษ และถูกฝังไว้ในสวนของบ้านตนเอง คือสวนอุสซา แล้วอาโมนบุตรของเขาขึ้นครองราชย์แทน
19Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
19อาโมนมีอายุยี่สิบสองปีเมื่อเริ่มครองราชย์ และเขาครองราชย์ในเยรูซาเล็มสองปี มารดาของเขาชื่อเมชุลเลเมทเป็นบุตรสาวของฮารูสแห่งโยทบาห์
20And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father.
20เขาทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระยาห์เวห์เช่นเดียวกับที่มนัสเสห์บิดาของเขาได้ทำ
21And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them.
21เขาดำเนินตามทางทุกอย่างที่บิดาของเขาดำเนิน และรับใช้รูปเคารพที่บิดาของเขารับใช้ทั้งยังกราบไหว้รูปเหล่านั้น
22And he forsook the LORD, the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
22เขาละทิ้งพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของบรรพบุรุษของเขา และไม่ดำเนินในทางของพระยาห์เวห์
23And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
23บรรดาผู้รับใช้ของอาโมนร่วมกันกบฏต่อเขา และฆ่ากษัตริย์ในบ้านของเขาเอง
24But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
24แต่ประชาชนแห่งแผ่นดินฆ่าทุกคนที่ร่วมกันกบฏต่อกษัตริย์อาโมน แล้วประชาชนแห่งแผ่นดินตั้งโยสิยาห์บุตรของเขาเป็นกษัตริย์แทน
25Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
25ส่วนเหตุการณ์อื่นๆในรัชกาลอาโมนซึ่งเขาได้ทำนั้นไม่ได้เขียนไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารของบรรดากษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์หรือ?
26And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza; and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
26เขาถูกฝังในที่ฝังศพของเขาที่สวนอุสซา แล้วโยสิยาห์บุตรของเขาขึ้นครองราชย์แทน
