1論 埃及 的默示： 看哪，耶和華乘駕快雲， 臨到 埃及 。 埃及 的偶像在他面前戰兢； 埃及 人的心在裏面消化。
1The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and cometh unto Egypt; and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt within it.
2我必激動 埃及 人攻擊 埃及 人－ 弟兄攻擊弟兄， 鄰舍攻擊鄰舍； 這城攻擊那城， 這國攻擊那國。
2And I will spur Egypt against Egypt; and they shall fight every one against his brother, and everyone against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3埃及 人的心神必在裏面耗盡； 我必敗壞他們的謀略。 他們必求問偶像和念咒的、 交鬼的、行巫術的。
3And the spirit of Egypt shall be made empty within it; and I will make void the counsel thereof; and they shall seek unto the idols, and to the whisperers, and to the ghosts, and to the familiar spirits.
4我必將 埃及 人交在殘忍主的手中； 強暴王必轄制他們。 這是主－萬軍之耶和華說的。
4And I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
5海中的水必絕盡， 河也消沒乾涸。
5And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be drained dry,
6江河要變臭； 埃及 的河水都必減少枯乾。 葦子和蘆荻都必衰殘；
6And the rivers shall become foul; the streams of Egypt shall be minished and dried up; the reeds and flags shall wither.
7靠 尼羅河 旁的草田， 並沿 尼羅河 所種的田，都必枯乾。 莊稼 被 風 吹去，歸於無有。
7The mosses by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all that is sown by the Nile, shall become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
8打魚的必哀哭。 在 尼羅河 一切釣魚的必悲傷； 在水上撒網的必都衰弱。
8The fishers also shall lament, and all they that cast angle into the Nile shall mourn, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
9用梳好的麻造物的 和織白布的都必羞愧；
9Moreover they that work in combed flax, and they that weave cotton, shall be ashamed.
10國柱必被打碎， 所有傭工的，心必愁煩。
10And her foundations shall be crushed, all they that make dams shall be grieved in soul.
11瑣安 的首領極其愚昧； 法老大有智慧的謀士， 所籌劃的成為愚謀。 你們怎敢對法老說： 我是智慧人的子孫， 我是古王的後裔？
11The princes of Zoan are utter fools; the wisest counsellors of Pharaoh are a senseless counsel; how can ye say unto Pharaoh: 'I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings'?
12你的智慧人在哪裏呢？ 萬軍之耶和華向 埃及 所定的旨意， 他們可以知道，可以告訴你吧！
12Where are they, then, thy wise men? And let them tell thee now; and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed concerning Egypt.
13瑣安 的首領都變為愚昧； 挪弗 的首領都受了迷惑。 當 埃及 支派房角石的， 使 埃及 人走錯了路。
13The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have caused Egypt to go astray, that are the corner-stone of her tribes.
14耶和華使乖謬的靈攙入 埃及 中間； 首領使 埃及 一切所做的都有差錯， 好像醉酒之人嘔吐的時候東倒西歪一樣。
14The LORD hath mingled within her a spirit of dizziness; and they have caused Egypt to stagger in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
15埃及 中，無論是頭與尾， 棕枝與蘆葦，所做之工都不成就。
15Neither shall there be for Egypt any work, which head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do.
16到那日， 埃及 人必像婦人一樣，他們必因萬軍之耶和華在 埃及 以上所掄的手，戰兢懼怕。
16In that day shall Egypt be like unto women; and it shall tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which He shaketh over it.
17猶大 地必使 埃及 驚恐，向誰提起 猶大 地，誰就懼怕。這是因萬軍之耶和華向 埃及 所定的旨意。
17And the land of Judah shall become a terror unto Egypt, whensoever one maketh mention thereof to it; it shall be afraid, because of the purpose of the LORD of hosts, which He purposeth against it.
18當那日， 埃及 地必有五城的人說 迦南 的方言，又指着萬軍之耶和華起誓。有一城必稱為「滅亡城」。
18In that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called The city of destruction.
19當那日，在 埃及 地中必有為耶和華築的一座壇；在 埃及 的邊界上必有為耶和華 立 的一根柱。
19In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
20這都要在 埃及 地為萬軍之耶和華作記號和證據。 埃及 人因為受人的欺壓哀求耶和華，他就差遣一位救主作護衛者，拯救他們。
20And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and He will send them a saviour, and a defender, who will deliver them.
21耶和華必被 埃及 人所認識。在那日， 埃及 人必認識耶和華，也要獻祭物和供物敬拜他，並向耶和華許願還願。
21And the LORD shall make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day; yea, they shall worship with sacrifice and offering, and shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and shall perform it.
22耶和華必擊打 埃及 ，又擊打又醫治， 埃及 人就歸向耶和華。他必應允他們的禱告，醫治他們。
22And the LORD will smite Egypt, smiting and healing; and they shall return unto the LORD, and He will be entreated of them, and will heal them.
23當那日，必有從 埃及 通 亞述 去的大道。 亞述 人要進入 埃及 ， 埃及 人也進入 亞述 ； 埃及 人要與 亞述 人一同敬拜 耶和華 。
23In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians shall worship with the Assyrians.
24當那日， 以色列 必與 埃及 、 亞述 三國一律，使地上的人得福；
24In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth;
25因為萬軍之耶和華賜福給他們，說：「 埃及 －我的百姓， 亞述 －我手的工作， 以色列 －我的產業，都有福了！」
25for that the LORD of hosts hath blessed him, saying: 'Blessed be Egypt My people and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel Mine inheritance.'
