1論 泰爾 的默示： 他施 的船隻都要哀號； 因為 泰爾 變為荒場， 甚至沒有房屋，沒有可進之路。 這消息是從 基提 地得來的。
1The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish, for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in; from the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.
2沿海的居民， 就是素來靠航海 西頓 的商家得豐盛的， 你們當靜默無言。
2Be still, ye inhabitants of the coast-land; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
3在大水之上， 西曷 的糧食、 尼羅河 的莊稼是 泰爾 的進項； 她作列國的大碼頭。
3And on great waters the seed of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue; and she was the mart of nations.
4西頓 哪，你當慚愧； 因為大海說， 就是海中的保障說： 我沒有劬勞，也沒有生產， 沒有養育男子，也沒有撫養童女。
4Be thou ashamed, O Zidon; for the sea hath spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying: 'I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I reared young men, nor brought up virgins.'
5這風聲傳到 埃及 ； 埃及 人為 泰爾 的風聲極其疼痛。
5When the report cometh to Egypt, they shall be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
6泰爾 人哪，你們當過到 他施 去； 沿海的居民哪，你們都當哀號。
6Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the coast-land.
7這是你們歡樂的城， 從上古而有的嗎？ 其中的居民往遠方寄居。
7Is this your joyous city, whose feet in antiquity, in ancient days, carried her afar off to sojourn?
8泰爾 本是賜冠冕的。 她的商家是王子； 她的買賣人是世上的尊貴人。 遭遇如此是誰定的呢？
8Who hath devised this against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?
9是萬軍之耶和華所定的！ 為要污辱一切高傲的榮耀， 使地上一切的尊貴人被藐視。
9The LORD of hosts hath devised it, to pollute the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.
10他施 的民哪， 可以流行你的地，好像 尼羅河 ； 不再有腰帶拘緊你。
10Overflow thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish! there is no girdle any more.
11耶和華已經向海伸手， 震動列國。 至於 迦南 ， 他已經吩咐拆毀其中的保障。
11He hath stretched out His hand over the sea, He hath shaken the kingdoms; the LORD hath given commandment concerning Canaan, to destroy the strongholds thereof;
12他又說：受欺壓 西頓 的居民哪， 你必不得再歡樂。 起來！過到 基提 去； 就是在那裏也不得安歇。 （
12And He said: 'Thou shalt no more rejoice.' O thou oppressed virgin daughter of Zidon, arise, pass over to Kittim; even there shalt thou have no rest.
13看哪， 迦勒底 人之地向來沒有這民，這國是 亞述 人為住曠野的人所立的。現在他們建築戍樓，拆毀 泰爾 的宮殿，使她成為荒涼。）
13Behold, the land of the Chaldeans — this is the people that was not, when Asshur founded it for shipmen — they set up their towers, they overthrew the palaces thereof; it is made a ruin.
14他施 的船隻都要哀號， 因為你們的保障變為荒場。
14Howl, ye ships of Tarshish, for your stronghold is laid waste.
15到那時， 泰爾 必被忘記七十年，照着一王的年日。七十年後， 泰爾 的景況必像妓女所唱的歌：
15And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king; after the end of seventy years it shall fare with Tyre as in the song of the harlot:
16你這被忘記的妓女啊， 拿琴周流城內， 巧彈多唱，使人再想念你。
16Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot long forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
17七十年後，耶和華必眷顧 泰爾 ，她就仍得利息，與地上的萬國交易。
17And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will remember Tyre, and she shall return to her hire, and shall have commerce with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
18她的貨財和利息要歸耶和華為聖，必不積攢存留；因為她的貨財必為住在耶和華面前的人所得，使他們吃飽，穿耐久的衣服。
18And her gain and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD; it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her gain shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat their fill, and for stately clothing.
