1耶和華要憐恤 雅各 ，必再揀選 以色列 ，將他們安置在本地。寄居的必與他們聯合，緊貼 雅各 家。
1For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land; and the stranger shall join himself with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
2外邦人必將他們帶回本土； 以色列 家必在耶和華的地上得外邦人為僕婢，也要擄掠先前擄掠他們的，轄制先前欺壓他們的。
2And the peoples shall take them, and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and for handmaids; and they shall take them captive, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
3當耶和華使你脫離愁苦、煩惱，並人勉強你做的苦工，得享安息的日子，
3And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy travail, and from thy trouble, and from the hard service wherein thou wast made to serve,
4你必題這詩歌論 巴比倫 王說： 欺壓人的何竟熄滅？ 強暴的何竟止息？
4that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say: How hath the oppressor ceased! the exactress of gold ceased!
5耶和華折斷了惡人的杖， 轄制人的圭，
5The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, the sceptre of the rulers,
6就是在忿怒中連連攻擊眾民的， 在怒氣中轄制列國， 行逼迫無人阻止的。
6That smote the peoples in wrath with an incessant stroke, that ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained.
7現在全地得安息，享平靜； 人皆發聲歡呼。
7The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet; they break forth into singing.
8松樹和 黎巴嫩 的香柏樹 都因你歡樂， 說 ： 自從你仆倒， 再無人上來砍伐我們。
8Yea, the cypresses rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon: 'Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.'
9你下到陰間， 陰間就因你震動來迎接你， 又因你驚動在世曾為首領的陰魂， 並使那曾為列國君王的， 都離位站起。
9The nether-world from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming; the shades are stirred up for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; all the kings of the nations are raised up from their thrones.
10他們都要發言對你說： 你也變為軟弱像我們一樣嗎？ 你也成了我們的樣子嗎？
10All they do answer and say unto thee: 'Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us?
11你的威勢和你琴瑟的聲音都下到陰間。 你下鋪的是蟲，上蓋的是蛆。
11Thy pomp is brought down to the nether-world, and the noise of thy psalteries; the maggot is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.'
12明亮之星，早晨之子啊， 你何竟從天墜落？ 你這攻敗列國的何竟被砍倒在地上？
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, that didst cast lots over the nations!
13你心裏曾說： 我要升到天上； 我要高舉我的寶座在上帝眾星以上； 我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。
13And thou saidst in thy heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, above the stars of God will I exalt my throne, and I will sit upon the mount of meeting, in the uttermost parts of the north;
14我要升到高雲之上； 我要與至上者同等。
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.'
15然而，你必墜落陰間， 到坑中極深之處。
15Yet thou shalt be brought down to the nether-world, to the uttermost parts of the pit.
16凡看見你的都要定睛看你， 留意看你， 說 ： 使大地戰抖， 使列國震動，
16They that saw thee do narrowly look upon thee, they gaze earnestly at thee: 'Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17使世界如同荒野， 使城邑傾覆， 不釋放被擄的人歸家， 是這個人嗎？
17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?'
18列國的君王 俱各在自己陰宅的榮耀中安睡。
18All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, every one in his own house.
19惟獨你被拋棄， 不得入你的墳墓， 好像可憎的枝子， 以被殺的人為衣， 就是被刀刺透， 墜落坑中石頭那裏的； 你又像被踐踏的屍首一樣。
19But thou art cast forth away from thy grave like an abhorred offshoot, in the raiment of the slain, that are thrust through with the sword, that go down to the pavement of the pit, as a carcass trodden under foot.
20你不得與君王同葬； 因為你敗壞你的國，殺戮你的民。 惡人後裔的名，必永不提說。
20Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, thou hast slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall not be named for ever.
21先人既有罪孽， 就要預備殺戮他的子孫， 免得他們興起來，得了遍地， 在世上修滿城邑。
21Prepare ye slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they rise not up, and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities.
22萬軍之耶和華說： 我必興起攻擊他們， 將 巴比倫 的名號和所餘剩的人， 連子帶孫一併剪除。 這是耶和華說的。
22And I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and offshoot and offspring, saith the LORD.
23我必使 巴比倫 為箭豬所得， 又變為水池； 我要用滅亡的掃帚掃淨它。 這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
23I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water; and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.
24萬軍之耶和華起誓說： 我怎樣思想，必照樣成就； 我怎樣定意，必照樣成立，
24The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying: Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,
25就是在我地上打折 亞述 人， 在我山上將他踐踏。 他加的軛必離開 以色列 人； 他加的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。
25That I will break Asshur in My land, and upon My mountains tread him under foot; then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulder.
26這是向全地所定的旨意； 這是向萬國所伸出的手。
26This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能廢棄呢？ 他的手已經伸出，誰能轉回呢？
27For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
28亞哈斯 王崩的那年，就有以下的默示：
28In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.
29非利士 全地啊， 不要因擊打你的杖折斷就喜樂。 因為從蛇的根必生出毒蛇； 牠所生的是火焰的飛龍。
29Rejoice not, O Philistia, all of thee, because the rod that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a basilisk, and his fruit shall be a flying serpent.
30貧寒人的長子必有所食； 窮乏人必安然躺臥。 我必以饑荒治死你的根； 你所餘剩的人必被殺戮。
30And the first-born of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety; and I will kill thy root with famine, and thy remnant shall be slain.
31門哪，應當哀號！ 城啊，應當呼喊！ 非利士 全地啊，你都消化了！ 因為有煙從北方出來， 他行伍中並無亂隊的。
31Howl, O gate; cry, O city; melt away, O Philistia, all of thee; for there cometh a smoke out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.
32可怎樣回答外邦的使者呢？ 必說：耶和華建立了 錫安 ； 他百姓中的困苦人必投奔在其中。
32What then shall one answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and in her shall the afflicted of His people take refuge.
