1你們當將羊羔奉給那地掌權的， 從 西拉 往曠野，送到 錫安 城的山。
1Send ye the lambs for the ruler of the land from the crags that are toward the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2摩押 的居民在 亞嫩 渡口， 必像遊飛的鳥，如拆窩的 雛 。
2For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of Arnon.
3求你獻謀略，行公平， 使你的影子在午間如黑夜， 隱藏被趕散的人，不可顯露逃民。
3'Give counsel, execute justice; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; betray not the fugitive.
4求你容我這被趕散的人和你同居。 至於 摩押 ，求你作他的隱密處， 脫離滅命者的面。 勒索人的歸於無有， 毀滅的事止息了， 欺壓人的從國中除滅了，
4Let mine outcasts dwell with thee; as for Moab, be thou a covert to him from the face of the spoiler.' For the extortion is at an end, spoiling ceaseth, they that trampled down are consumed out of the land;
5必有寶座因慈愛堅立； 必有一位誠誠實實坐在其上， 在 大衛 帳幕中施行審判， 尋求公平，速行公義。
5And a throne is established through mercy, and there sitteth thereon in truth, in the tent of David, one that judgeth, and seeketh justice, and is ready in righteousness.
6我們聽說 摩押 人驕傲， 是極其驕傲； 聽說他狂妄、驕傲、忿怒； 他誇大的話是虛空的。
6We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud; even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his arrogancy, his ill-founded boastings.
7因此， 摩押 人必為 摩押 哀號； 人人都要哀號。 你們 摩押 人要為 吉珥‧哈列設 的葡萄餅哀歎， 極其憂傷。
7Therefore shall Moab wail for Moab, every one shall wail; for the sweet cakes of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn, sorely stricken.
8因為 希實本 的田地 和 西比瑪 的葡萄樹都衰殘了。 列國的君主折斷其上美好的枝子； 這枝子長到 雅謝 延到曠野， 嫩枝向外探出，直探過 鹽海 。
8For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah, whose choice plants did overcome the lords of nations; they reached even unto Jazer, they wandered into the wilderness; her branches were spread abroad, they passed over the sea.
9因此，我要為 西比瑪 的葡萄樹哀哭， 與 雅謝 人哀哭一樣。 希實本 、 以利亞利 啊， 我要以眼淚澆灌你； 因為有 交戰 吶喊的聲音 臨到你夏天的果子， 並你收割的莊稼。
9Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah; I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh; for upon thy summer fruits and upon thy harvest the battle shout is fallen.
10從肥美的田中奪去了歡喜快樂； 在葡萄園裏必無歌唱，也無歡呼的聲音。 踹酒的在酒醡中不得踹出酒來； 我使他歡呼的聲音止息。
10And gladness and joy are taken away out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting; no treader shall tread out wine in the presses; I have made the vintage shout to cease.
11因此，我心腹為 摩押 哀鳴如琴； 我心腸為 吉珥‧哈列設 也是如此。
11Wherefore my heart moaneth like a harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-heres.
12摩押 人朝見的時候，在高處疲乏，又到他聖所祈禱，也不蒙應允。
12And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab hath wearied himself upon the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail
13這是耶和華從前論 摩押 的話。
13This is the word that the LORD spoke concerning Moab in time past.
14但現在耶和華說：「三年之內，照雇工的年數， 摩押 的榮耀與他的群眾必被藐視，餘剩的人甚少無幾。」
14But now the LORD hath spoken, saying: 'Within three years, as the years of a hireling, and the glory of Moab shall wax contemptible for all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and without strength.'
