1所羅門 作 以色列 眾人的王。
1And king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2他的臣子記在下面： 撒督 的兒子 亞撒利雅 作祭司，
2And these were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;
3示沙 的兩個兒子 以利何烈 、 亞希亞 作書記， 亞希律 的兒子 約沙法 作史官，
3Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder;
4耶何耶大 的兒子 比拿雅 作元帥， 撒督 和 亞比亞他 作祭司 長 ，
4and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;
5拿單 的兒子 亞撒利雅 作眾吏長，王的朋友 拿單 的兒子 撒布得 作領袖，
5and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister and the king's friend;
6亞希煞 作家宰， 亞比大 的兒子 亞多尼蘭 掌管服苦的人。
6and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the levy.
7所羅門 在 以色列 全地立了十二個官吏，使他們供給王和王家的食物，每年各人供給一月。
7And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided victuals for the king and his household: each man had to make provision for a month in the year.
8他們的名字記在下面：在 以法蓮 山地有 便‧戶珥 ；
8And these are their names: The son of Hur, in the hill-country of Ephraim;
9在 瑪迦斯 、 沙賓 、 伯‧示麥 、 以倫‧伯‧哈南 有 便‧底甲 ；
9the son of Deker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;
10在 亞魯泊 有 便‧希悉 ，他管理 梭哥 和 希弗 全地；
10the son of Hesed, in Arubboth; to him pertained Socoh, and all the land of Hepher;
11在 多珥山岡 有 便‧亞比拿達 ，他娶了 所羅門 的女兒 她法 為妻；
11the son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; he had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife;
12在 他納 和 米吉多 ，並靠近 撒拉他拿 、 耶斯列 下邊的 伯‧善 全地，從 伯‧善 到 亞伯‧米何拉 直到 約念 之外，有 亞希律 的兒子 巴拿 ；
12Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as beyond Jokmeam;
13在 基列 的 拉末 有 便‧基別 ，他管理在 基列 的 瑪拿西 子孫 睚珥 的城邑， 巴珊 的 亞珥歌伯 地的大城六十座，都有城牆和銅閂；
13the son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him pertained the villages of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; even to him pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brazen bars;
14在 瑪哈念 有 易多 的兒子 亞希拿達 ；
14Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;
15在 拿弗他利 有 亞希瑪斯 ，他也娶了 所羅門 的一個女兒 巴實抹 為妻；
15Ahimaaz, in Naphtali; he also took Basemath the daughter of Solomon to wife;
16在 亞設 和 亞祿 有 戶篩 的兒子 巴拿 ；
16Baana the son of Hushai, in Asher and Bealoth;
17在 以薩迦 有 帕路亞 的兒子 約沙法 ；
17Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar;
18在 便雅憫 有 以拉 的兒子 示每 ；
18Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin;
19在 基列 地，就是 從前屬 亞摩利 王 西宏 和 巴珊 王 噩 之地，有 烏利 的兒子 基別 一人管理。
19Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and one officer that was over all the officers in the land.
20猶大 人和 以色列 人如同海邊的沙那樣多，都吃喝快樂。
20Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.
21所羅門 統管諸國，從大河到 非利士 地，直到 埃及 的邊界。 所羅門 在世的日子，這些國都進貢服事他。
21(5-1) And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt; they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22所羅門 每日所用的食物：細麵三十歌珥，粗麵六十歌珥，
22(5-2) And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal;
23肥牛十隻，草場的牛二十隻，羊一百隻，還有鹿、羚羊、誁子，並肥禽。
23(5-3) ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, beside harts, and gazelles, and roebucks, and fatted fowl.
24所羅門 管理大河西邊的諸王，以及從 提弗薩 直到 迦薩 的全地，四境盡都平安。
24(5-4) For he had dominion over all the region on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side the River; and he had peace on all sides round about him.
25所羅門 在世的日子，從 但 到 別是巴 的 猶大 人和 以色列 人都在自己的葡萄樹下和無花果樹下安然居住。
25(5-5) And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.
26所羅門 有套車的馬四萬，還有馬兵一萬二千。
26(5-6) And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27那十二個官吏各按各月供給 所羅門 王，並一切與他同席之人的食物，一無所缺。
27(5-7) And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month; they let nothing be lacking.
28眾人各按各分，將養馬與快馬的大麥和乾草送到 官吏 那裏。
28(5-8) Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds brought they unto the place where it should be, every man according to his charge.
29上帝賜給 所羅門 極大的智慧聰明和廣大的心，如同海沙 不可測量 。
29(5-9) And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.
30所羅門 的智慧超過東方人和 埃及 人的一切智慧。
30(5-10) And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31他的智慧勝過萬人，勝過 以斯拉 人 以探 ，並 瑪曷 的兒子 希幔 、 甲各 、 達大 的智慧。他的名聲傳揚在四圍的列國。
31(5-11) For he was wiser than all men: than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations round about.
32他作箴言三千句，詩歌一千零五首。
32(5-12) And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.
33他講論草木，自 黎巴嫩 的香柏樹直到牆上長的牛膝草，又講論飛禽走獸、昆蟲水族。
33(5-13) And he spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall; he spoke also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34天下列王聽見 所羅門 的智慧，就都差人來聽他的智慧話。
34(5-14) And there came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
