1当 暗拉非 作 示拿 王， 亚略 作 以拉撒 王， 基大老玛 作 以拦 王， 提达 作 戈印 王的时候，
1And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goiim,
2他们都攻打 所多玛 王 比拉 、 蛾摩拉 王 比沙 、 押玛 王 示纳 、 洗扁 王 善以别 ，和 比拉 王； 比拉 就是 琐珥 。
2that they made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela — the same is Zoar.
3这五王都在 西订谷 会合； 西订谷 就是 盐海 。
3All these came as allies unto the vale of Siddim — the same is the Salt Sea.
4他们已经事奉 基大老玛 十二年，到十三年就背叛了。
4Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
5十四年， 基大老玛 和同盟的王都来在 亚特律·加宁 ，杀败了 利乏音 人，在 哈麦 杀败了 苏西 人，在 沙微·基列亭 杀败了 以米 人，
5And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth-karnaim, and the Zuzim in Ham, and the Emim in Shaveh-kiriathaim,
6在 何利 人的 西珥山 杀败了 何利 人，一直杀到靠近旷野的 伊勒·巴兰 。
6and the Horites in their mount Seir, unto El-paran, which is by the wilderness.

7And they turned back, and came to En-mishpat — the same is Kadesh — and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazazon-tamar.

8And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela — the same is Zoar; and they set the battle in array against them in the vale of Siddim;
9就是与 以拦 王 基大老玛 、 戈印 王 提达 、 示拿 王 暗拉非 、 以拉撒 王 亚略 交战；乃是四王与五王交战。
9against Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goiim, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings against the five.
10西订谷 有许多石漆坑。 所多玛 王和 蛾摩拉 王逃跑，有掉在坑里的，其余的人都往山上逃跑。
10Now the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and they fell there, and they that remained fled to the mountain.
11四王就把 所多玛 和 蛾摩拉 所有的财物，并一切的粮食都掳掠去了；
11And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
12又把 亚伯兰 的侄儿 罗得 和 罗得 的财物掳掠去了。当时 罗得 正住在 所多玛 。
12And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
13有一个逃出来的人告诉 希伯来 人 亚伯兰 ； 亚伯兰 正住在 亚摩利 人 幔利 的橡树那里。 幔利 和 以实各 并 亚乃 都是弟兄，曾与 亚伯兰 联盟。
13And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew — now he dwelt by the terebinths of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner; and these were confederate with Abram.
14亚伯兰 听见他侄儿被掳去，就率领他家里生养的精练壮丁三百一十八人，直追到 但 ，
14And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he led forth his trained men, born in his house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued as far as Dan.
15便在夜间，自己同仆人分队杀败敌人，又追到 大马士革 左边的 何把 ，
15And he divided himself against them by night, he and his servants, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
16将被掳掠的一切财物夺回来，连他侄儿 罗得 和他的财物，以及妇女、人民也都夺回来。
16And he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17亚伯兰 杀败 基大老玛 和与他同盟的王回来的时候， 所多玛 王出来，在 沙微谷 迎接他； 沙微谷 就是 王谷 。
17And the king of Sodom went out to meet him, after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him, at the vale of Shaveh — the same is the King's Vale.
18又有 撒冷 王 麦基洗德 带着饼和酒出来迎接；他是至高 神的祭司。
18And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was priest of God the Most High.
19他为 亚伯兰 祝福，说：「愿天地的主、至高的 神赐福与 亚伯兰 ！
19And he blessed him, and said: 'Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Maker of heaven and earth;
20至高的 神把敌人交在你手里，是应当称颂的！」 亚伯兰 就把所得的拿出十分之一来，给 麦基洗德 。
20and blessed be God the Most High, who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.' And he gave him a tenth of all.
21所多玛 王对 亚伯兰 说：「你把人口给我，财物你自己拿去吧！」
21And the king of Sodom said unto Abram: 'Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.'
22亚伯兰 对 所多玛 王说：「我已经向天地的主—至高的 神耶和华起誓：
22And Abram said to the king of Sodom: 'I have lifted up my hand unto the LORD, God Most High, Maker of heaven and earth,
23凡是你的东西，就是一根线、一根鞋带，我都不拿，免得你说：『我使 亚伯兰 富足！』
23that I will not take a thread nor a shoe-latchet nor aught that is thine, lest thou shouldest say: I have made Abram rich;
24只有仆人所吃的，并与我同行的 亚乃 、 以实各 、 幔利 所应得的分，可以任凭他们拿去。」
24save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre, let them take their portion.'
