1I love the LORD, for He has heard my voice— my appeal for mercy.
1私は主を愛する。 主は私の声と、あわれみを求める叫びを聞かれるからである。
2Because He has inclined His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.
2主は私に耳を傾けられた。 それゆえ、私は生きている限り主を呼び求める。
3The ropes of death entangled me; the anguish of Sheol overcame me; I was confronted by trouble and sorrow.
3死の綱が私を取り囲み、 よみ の苦しみが私を捕らえた。 私は苦難と悲しみに遭った。
4Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, deliver my soul!”
4そのとき、私は主の御名を呼び求めた。 「主よ、どうか私の魂を救い出してください。」
5The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.
5主は恵み深く、正しい。 まことに、私たちの神はあわれみ深い。
6The LORD preserves the simplehearted; I was helpless, and He saved me.
6主は素朴な者を守られる。 私が低くされたとき、主は私を救われた。
7Return to your rest, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.
7私の魂よ、安息に戻れ。 主があなたを豊かに恵んでくださったからである。
8For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
8あなたは私の魂を死から、 私の目を涙から、 私の足をつまずきから救い出された。
9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
9私は生ける者の地で主の御前を歩む。
10I believed, therefore I said, “I am greatly afflicted.”
10私は信じた。それゆえ、こう言った。 「私は大いに苦しんでいる。」
11In my alarm I said, “All men are liars!”
11私はうろたえて言った。 「すべての人は偽りを言う」と。
12How can I repay the LORD for all His goodness to me?
12主が私に与えてくださったすべての恵みに、私は何をもって報いようか。
13I will lift the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
13私は救いの杯を掲げ、主の御名を呼び求める。
14I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people.
14私は主への誓願を果たす。 主のすべての民の前で。
15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
15主の聖徒たちの死は、主の目に尊い。
16Truly, O LORD, I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have broken my bonds.
16主よ、まことに私はあなたのしもべである。 私はあなたのしもべ、あなたの女のしもべの子である。 あなたは私の鎖を解かれた。
17I will offer to You a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.
17私はあなたに感謝のいけにえをささげ、 主の御名を呼び求める。
18I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people,
18私は主への誓願を果たする。 主のすべての民の前で、
19in the courts of the LORD’s house, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
19主の家の大庭で、 エルサレムよ、あなたのただ中で。 主をほめたたえよ。
