1His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2ʻOku ʻofa lahi hake ʻa Sihova ki he ngaahi matapā ʻo Saione, ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga kotoa pē ʻo Sēkope.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3ʻA e kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻoku talanoa ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ongoongolelei ʻiate koe. Sila.
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4“Te u fakahā ʻa Lehapi mo Papilone kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻiloʻi au: vakai, ko Filisitia, mo Taia, mo ʻItiopea; “naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai ʻae tangata ni.”
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5Pea ʻe lau pehē ki Saione, “Ko e tangata ni mo e tangata na naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai”: pea ʻe fakatuʻumaʻu ia ʻe he Fungani Māʻolunga.
5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6ʻE lau ʻe Sihova, ʻi heʻene tohi ʻae kakai, “ko e tangata ni naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai.” Sila.
6The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7ʻE ʻi ai fakatouʻosi ʻae kau hiva mo e kau pulotu ʻoe ngaahi meʻa faiva: “ko ʻeku ngaahi matavai kotoa pē ʻoku ʻiate koe.”
7As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
