1Te u fakafetaʻi kia Sihova ʻi he kuonga kotoa pē: ʻe tuʻumaʻu pe ʻene fakafetaʻi ʻi hoku ngutu.
1I will bless the LORD at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2‌ʻE vikiviki hoku laumālie ʻia Sihova: ʻe fanongo ki ai ʻae kakai angavaivai, pea fiefia ai.
2My soul shall boast in the LORD. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3Ketau fai mo au ke hapai hake ʻa Sihova, pea ketau fakaongoongolelei fakataha hono huafa.
3Oh magnify the LORD with me. Let’s exalt his name together.
4Naʻaku kumi kia Sihova, pea ne ongoʻi au, ʻo ne fakamoʻui au mei heʻeku manavahē kotoa pē.
4I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5Naʻa nau vakai kiate ia, pea māmangia ai: pea naʻe ʻikai mā ai honau mata.
5They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
6Naʻe tangi ʻae tangata masiva ni, pea naʻe ongoʻi ia ʻe Sihova, ʻo ne fakamoʻui ia mei heʻene mamahi kotoa pē.
6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7‌ʻOku nofo ʻae ʻāngelo ʻa Sihova ʻo takatakai ʻakinautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate ia, ʻo ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu.
7The LORD’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8Mou kamata ʻo vakai ʻoku lelei ʻa Sihova: ʻoku monūʻia ʻae tangata ko ia ʻoku falala kiate ia.
8Oh taste and see that the LORD is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9Ke manavahē kia Sihova, ʻakimoutolu ko ʻene kau māʻoniʻoni: he ʻoku ʻikai ha masiva kiate kinautolu ʻoku manavahē kiate ia.
9Oh fear the LORD, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
10‌ʻOku masiva ʻae fanga laione mui, mo fiekaia: ka ko kinautolu ʻoku kumi kia Sihova ʻe ʻikai te nau masiva ʻi ha meʻa lelei ʻe taha.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
11Haʻu, ʻakimoutolu ko e fānau, ʻo fanongo kiate au: te u ako kiate kimoutolu ʻae manavahē kia Sihova.
11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12Ko hai ha tangata ʻoku holi ke moʻui, ʻo manako ki he ngaahi ʻaho lahi, koeʻuhi ke ne mamata ai ki he lelei?
12Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13Taʻofi ho ʻelelo mei he kovi, mo ho loungutu mei he lea kākā.
13Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.
14Afe mei he kovi, mo ke fai lelei; kumi ki he melino, pea tuli ki ai.
14Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
15‌ʻOku ʻafio maʻu ʻae fofonga ʻo Sihova ki he kakai māʻoniʻoni, pea ʻoku ongoʻi ʻe hono telinga ʻenau tangi.
15The LORD’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
16‌ʻOku houhau ʻae fofonga ʻo Sihova kiate kinautolu ʻoku fai kovi, ke motuhi honau fakamanatuʻi mei māmani.
16The LORD’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.
17‌ʻOku tangi ʻae māʻoniʻoni, pea ongoʻi ʻe Sihova, ʻo ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu mei heʻenau ngaahi mamahi kotoa pē.
17The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18‌ʻOku ofi ʻa Sihova kiate kinautolu ʻoku loto mafesi; ʻoku ne fakamoʻui ʻakinautolu ʻoku laumālie mafōfoa.
18The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
19‌ʻOku lahi ʻae ngaahi mamahi ʻoe māʻoniʻoni: ka ʻoku fakamoʻui ia mei ai kotoa pē ʻe Sihova.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20‌ʻOku ne tauhi hono ngaahi hui kotoa pē: ʻe ʻikai mafesi ha taha.
20He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21‌ʻE fakapoongi ʻe he kovi ʻae kau angahala: pea ko kinautolu ʻoku fehiʻa ki he kau māʻoniʻoni te nau malaʻia.
21Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22‌ʻOku huhuʻi ʻe Sihova ʻae laumālie ʻo ʻene kau tamaioʻeiki: pea ʻe ʻikai malaʻia ha tokotaha ʻokinautolu ʻoku falala kiate ia.
22The LORD redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
