1“จงใส่ใจ ในวันเหล่านั้น ในเวลานั้น เมื่อเราฟื้นความรุ่งเรืองของยูดาห์และเยรูซาเล็ม
1(4-1) For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2เราจะรวบรวมชนชาติทั้งหลาย พาลงมายังหุบเขาเยโฮชาฟัท และพิพากษาพวกเขาที่นั่นเพราะสิ่งที่ทำต่อประชาชนของเรา ต่ออิสราเอล ประชาชนผู้เป็นมรดกของเรา ซึ่งพวกเขาทำให้กระจัดกระจายไปในหมู่ชนชาติทั้งหลาย พวกเขาแบ่งแผ่นดินของเรา
2(4-2) I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.
3จับฉลากแบ่งประชาชนของเรา เอาเด็กชายไปแลกกับหญิงโสเภณี ขายเด็กหญิงเพื่อซื้อเหล้าองุ่นมาดื่ม
3(4-3) And they have cast lots for My people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and have drunk.
4“ไทระ ไซดอน พวกคุณเกี่ยวอะไรกับเรา? รวมทั้งทุกเขตของฟีลิสเตียด้วย? จะตอบแทนเราอย่างนั้นหรือ? ถ้าพวกคุณตอบแทนเรา เราจะให้สิ่งที่พวกคุณตอบแทนเราย้อนกลับไปตกที่พวกคุณเองอย่างรวดเร็วทันที
4(4-4) And also what are ye to Me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the regions of Philistia? will ye render retribution on My behalf? and if ye render retribution on My behalf, swiftly, speedily will I return your retribution upon your own head.
5เพราะพวกคุณเอาเงินและทองคำของเราไป ขนทรัพย์สมบัติที่เลิศที่สุดของเราไปไว้ในวิหารของพวกคุณ
5(4-5) Forasmuch as ye have taken My silver and My gold, and have carried into your temples My goodly treasures;
6และขายชาวยูดาห์กับชาวเยรูซาเล็มให้ชาวกรีก เพื่อพาคนเหล่านั้นไปให้ไกลจากบ้านเมืองของตน
6(4-6) the children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the sons of Jevanim, that ye might remove them far from their border;
7จงใส่ใจ เราจะปลุกเร้าให้พวกเขาออกมาจากที่ที่พวกคุณขายพวกเขาไป แล้วให้สิ่งที่พวกคุณตอบแทนเราย้อนกลับไปตกที่พวกคุณเอง
7(4-7) behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your retribution upon your own head;
8เราจะขายลูกชายและลูกสาวของพวกคุณให้ชาวยูดาห์ แล้วชาวยูดาห์จะขายพวกเขาให้ชาวเชบา ชนชาติที่อยู่ไกล เพราะพระยาห์เวห์กล่าวไว้แล้ว”
8(4-8) and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the men of Sheba, to a nation far off; for the LORD hath spoken.
9จงประกาศเรื่องนี้ในหมู่ชนชาติทั้งหลาย “เตรียมทำสงคราม! ปลุกเร้าเหล่ายอดนักรบ ให้ทหารทุกคนเข้ามาใกล้ ให้พวกเขาขึ้นมา
9(4-9) Proclaim ye this among the nations, prepare war; stir up the mighty men; let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.
10ตีใบไถของพวกคุณให้เป็นดาบ ตีมีดลิดกิ่งให้เป็นหอก ให้คนอ่อนแอพูดว่า ‘ข้าแข็งแกร่ง’
10(4-10) Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears; let the weak say: 'I am strong.'
11ชนชาติรอบข้างทั้งหลาย จงรีบมา มารวมตัวกัน” พระยาห์เวห์ โปรดให้เหล่ายอดนักรบของพระองค์ลงมาที่นั่น
11(4-11) Haste ye, and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together; thither cause Thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD!
12“ให้ชนชาติทั้งหลายลุกขึ้น มายังหุบเขาเยโฮชาฟัท เพราะเราจะนั่งพิพากษาชนชาติรอบข้างทั้งหมดที่นั่น
12(4-12) Let the nations be stirred up, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.
13จงใช้เคียวเกี่ยว เพราะผลเก็บเกี่ยวสุกแล้ว มาเถิด จงย่ำ เพราะบ่อย่ำองุ่นเต็มแล้ว ถังล้นแล้ว เพราะความชั่วของพวกเขามากเหลือเกิน”
13(4-13) Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, tread ye, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14ผู้คนมากมาย มากมาย อยู่ในหุบเขาแห่งการตัดสิน! เพราะวันของพระยาห์เวห์ใกล้เข้ามาในหุบเขาแห่งการตัดสิน
14(4-14) Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15ดวงอาทิตย์และดวงจันทร์มืดไป ดวงดาวหยุดส่องแสง
15(4-15) The sun and the moon are become black, and the stars withdraw their shining.
16พระยาห์เวห์จะคำรามจากศิโยน เปล่งเสียงกึกก้องจากเยรูซาเล็ม ฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินจะสั่นสะเทือน แต่พระยาห์เวห์จะเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของประชาชนของพระองค์ เป็นป้อมมั่นคงของชาวอิสราเอล
16(4-16) And the LORD shall roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the LORD will be a refuge unto His people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
17“แล้วพวกคุณจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของพวกคุณ ผู้พำนักในศิโยน ภูเขาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา เยรูซาเล็มจะศักดิ์สิทธิ์ คนต่างถิ่นจะไม่ผ่านเข้าไปอีก
17(4-17) So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain; then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18ในวันนั้น เหล้าองุ่นหวานจะหยดจากภูเขา น้ำนมจะไหลจากเนินเขา ลำธารทุกสายในยูดาห์จะมีน้ำไหล น้ำพุจะไหลออกจากพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ หล่อเลี้ยงหุบเขาชิททิม
18(4-18) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19อียิปต์จะร้างเปล่า เอโดมจะเป็นถิ่นทุรกันดารร้างเปล่า เพราะความรุนแรงที่ทำต่อชาวยูดาห์ เพราะพวกเขาทำให้เลือดผู้บริสุทธิ์ไหลในแผ่นดินของพวกเขา
19(4-19) Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20แต่ยูดาห์จะมีผู้คนอาศัยอยู่ตลอดไป เยรูซาเล็มจะมีผู้คนอาศัยอยู่ทุกชั่วอายุคน
20(4-20) But Judah shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21เราจะชำระเลือดของพวกเขา ที่เรายังไม่ได้ชำระ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์พำนักในศิโยน”
21(4-21) And I will hold as innocent their blood that I have not held as innocent; and the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
