1เมื่อสิ่งเหล่านี้ทั้งหมดเกิดขึ้นกับพวกคุณ ทั้งพรและคำสาปที่ผมนำมาไว้ต่อหน้าพวกคุณ และพวกคุณระลึกถึงสิ่งเหล่านี้ท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งปวงที่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณทรงขับไล่พวกคุณไป
1And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt bethink thyself among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
2แล้วพวกคุณกับลูกหลานกลับมาหาพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณ และเชื่อฟังเสียงของพระองค์ตามทุกสิ่งที่ผมสั่งในวันนี้ ด้วยสุดใจและสุดชีวิต
2and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and hearken to His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul;
3เมื่อนั้นพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงปลดพวกคุณจากการเป็นเชลย ทรงเมตตา และจะทรงกลับมารวบรวมพวกคุณจากชนชาติทั้งปวงที่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณทรงกระจายพวกคุณไป
3that then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
4แม้ผู้ที่ถูกขับไล่ไปจะอยู่สุดขอบฟ้า พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณก็จะทรงรวบรวมพวกคุณจากที่นั่นและนำพวกคุณกลับมา
4If any of thine that are dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee.
5พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงนำพวกคุณกลับสู่แผ่นดินที่บรรพบุรุษเคยครอบครอง แล้วพวกคุณจะครอบครองแผ่นดินนั้น พระองค์จะทรงทำดีแก่พวกคุณและเพิ่มจำนวนให้มากกว่าบรรพบุรุษ
5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and He will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงตัดหนังหุ้มปลายของใจพวกคุณและใจของลูกหลานออก เพื่อพวกคุณจะรักพระองค์ด้วยสุดใจและสุดชีวิต และมีชีวิตอยู่
6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงให้คำสาปทั้งหมดนี้ตกอยู่กับศัตรูและผู้ที่เกลียดชังและข่มเหงพวกคุณ
7And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, that persecuted thee.
8แล้วพวกคุณจะกลับมาเชื่อฟังเสียงของพระยาห์เวห์และทำตามพระบัญชาทั้งหมดที่ผมสั่งในวันนี้
8And thou shalt return and hearken to the voice of the LORD, and do all His commandments which I command thee this day.
9พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงทำให้พวกคุณเจริญรุ่งเรืองอย่างมาก ทั้งในงานทุกอย่างที่ลงมือทำ ลูกหลาน ฝูงสัตว์ และผลผลิตจากแผ่นดิน เพราะพระยาห์เวห์จะทรงยินดีที่จะทำดีแก่พวกคุณอีกครั้ง เหมือนที่ทรงยินดีในบรรพบุรุษ
9And the LORD thy God will make thee over-abundant in all the work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good; for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers;
10ถ้าพวกคุณเชื่อฟังเสียงของพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณ รักษาพระบัญชาและข้อกำหนดที่เขียนไว้ในหนังสือธรรมบัญญัตินี้ และหันกลับมาหาพระองค์ด้วยสุดใจและสุดชีวิต
10if thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.
11เพราะพระบัญชาที่ผมสั่งพวกคุณในวันนี้ไม่ได้ยากเกินไปและไม่ได้อยู่ไกลเกินเอื้อม
11For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off.
12พระบัญชานี้ไม่ได้อยู่บนสวรรค์จนพวกคุณต้องพูดว่า ‘ใครจะขึ้นไปบนสวรรค์แทนเรา เพื่อนำลงมาให้เราและประกาศให้เราฟัง เพื่อเราจะได้ทำตาม?’
12It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say: 'Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?'
13และไม่ได้อยู่เลยทะเลจนพวกคุณต้องพูดว่า ‘ใครจะข้ามทะเลแทนเรา เพื่อนำมาให้เราและประกาศให้เราฟัง เพื่อเราจะได้ทำตาม?’
13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say: 'Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?'
14แต่ถ้อยคำนี้อยู่ใกล้พวกคุณมาก อยู่ในปากและในใจ เพื่อพวกคุณจะทำตามได้
14But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15วันนี้ผมนำชีวิตและความเจริญรุ่งเรือง ความตายและความชั่วมาไว้ต่อหน้าพวกคุณ
15See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil,
16วันนี้ผมสั่งให้พวกคุณรักพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณ ดำเนินตามทางของพระองค์ และรักษาพระบัญชา ข้อกำหนด และกฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ เพื่อพวกคุณจะมีชีวิตและเพิ่มจำนวน และพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณจะทรงอวยพรในแผ่นดินที่กำลังเข้าไปครอบครอง
16in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances; then thou shalt live and multiply, and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.
17แต่ถ้าใจของพวกคุณหันออกไปและไม่ฟัง แต่ถูกชักจูงให้ไปกราบไหว้และรับใช้พระอื่น
17But if thy heart turn away, and thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18วันนี้ผมประกาศให้พวกคุณรู้ว่า พวกคุณจะต้องพินาศแน่นอน จะไม่ได้มีอายุยืนในแผ่นดินที่กำลังข้ามแม่น้ำจอร์แดนไปครอบครอง
18I declare unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish; ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over the Jordan to go in to possess it.
19วันนี้ผมขอให้ฟ้าและแผ่นดินเป็นพยานกล่าวโทษพวกคุณว่า ผมนำชีวิตและความตาย พรและคำสาปมาไว้ต่อหน้าพวกคุณ เพราะฉะนั้นจงเลือกชีวิต เพื่อพวกคุณกับลูกหลานจะมีชีวิต
19I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;
20โดยรักพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของพวกคุณ เชื่อฟังเสียงของพระองค์ และยึดมั่นในพระองค์ เพราะพระองค์คือชีวิตและความยืนยาวของพวกคุณ เพื่อพวกคุณจะอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงปฏิญาณต่อบรรพบุรุษ คืออับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบ ว่าจะประทานให้”
20to love the LORD thy God, to hearken to His voice, and to cleave unto Him; for that is thy life, and the length of thy days; that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
