1The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
1คำที่มาถึงเยเรมีย์เกี่ยวกับประชาชนยูดาห์ทั้งหมด ในปีที่สี่แห่งรัชกาลเยโฮยาคิม บุตรโยสิยาห์ กษัตริย์ยูดาห์ ซึ่งเป็นปีแรกแห่งรัชกาลเนบูคัดเนสซาร์ กษัตริย์บาบิโลน
2The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
2เยเรมีย์ผู้เผยพระวจนะกล่าวคำนั้นแก่ประชาชนยูดาห์ทั้งหมดและทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่ในเยรูซาเล็มว่า
3From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
3ตั้งแต่ปีที่สิบสามแห่งรัชกาลโยสิยาห์ บุตรอาโมน กษัตริย์ยูดาห์ จนถึงวันนี้ ตลอดยี่สิบสามปีนี้ คำจากพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าตื่นแต่เช้าและพูดกับพวกท่านครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า แต่พวกท่านไม่ฟัง
4And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
4พระยาห์เวห์ส่งผู้เผยพระวจนะ ผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ทุกคน มาหาพวกท่าน พระองค์ตื่นแต่เช้าและส่งพวกเขามาครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า แต่พวกท่านไม่ฟังหรือเงี่ยหูรับฟัง
5They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
5พวกเขากล่าวว่า “บัดนี้ให้ทุกคนหันกลับจากทางชั่วและความชั่วที่ตนทำ แล้วอาศัยอยู่ในดินแดนที่พระยาห์เวห์ให้แก่พวกท่านและบรรพบุรุษของพวกท่านมาตั้งแต่ครั้งก่อนและตลอดไป
6And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
6อย่าตามเทพเจ้าอื่นไปปรนนิบัติหรือกราบไหว้ อย่าเอาสิ่งที่มือพวกเจ้าทำมายั่วให้เราโกรธ แล้วเราจะไม่ทำร้ายพวกเจ้า”
7Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD ; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
7พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ถึงอย่างนั้นพวกเจ้าก็ไม่ฟังเรา พวกเจ้าเอาสิ่งที่มือพวกเจ้าทำมายั่วให้เราโกรธ จนตัวพวกเจ้าเองต้องเดือดร้อน”
8¶ Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words,
8ดังนั้นพระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพจึงกล่าวว่า “เพราะพวกเจ้าไม่ฟังถ้อยคำของเรา
9Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD , and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
9จงฟัง เราจะส่งคนไปรวบรวมทุกตระกูลทางเหนือ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะส่งคนไปหาเนบูคัดเนสซาร์ กษัตริย์บาบิโลน ผู้รับใช้ของเรา และนำพวกเขามาต่อสู้กับดินแดนนี้ กับผู้คนที่อาศัยอยู่ที่นี่ และกับชนชาติทั้งปวงรอบข้าง เราจะทำลายพวกเขาอย่างสิ้นเชิง ให้เป็นที่น่าตกตะลึง เป็นที่เย้ยหยัน และรกร้างตลอดไป
10Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
10เราจะทำให้เสียงรื่นเริงและเสียงยินดี เสียงเจ้าบ่าวและเสียงเจ้าสาว เสียงหินโม่และแสงตะเกียงหมดไปจากพวกเขา
11And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
11ดินแดนนี้ทั้งหมดจะรกร้างและเป็นที่น่าตกตะลึง ชนชาติเหล่านี้จะรับใช้กษัตริย์บาบิโลนเจ็ดสิบปี
12¶ And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD , for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
12“เมื่อครบเจ็ดสิบปี เราจะลงโทษกษัตริย์บาบิโลนและชนชาตินั้นเพราะความผิดของพวกเขา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะทำให้ดินแดนของชาวเคลเดียรกร้างตลอดไป
13And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
13เราจะให้ถ้อยคำทั้งหมดที่เราประกาศต่อดินแดนนั้นเกิดขึ้นกับมัน คือทุกสิ่งที่เขียนไว้ในหนังสือนี้ ตามที่เยเรมีย์พยากรณ์ต่อชนชาติทั้งปวง
14For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
14เพราะหลายชนชาติและกษัตริย์ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่จะจับพวกเขาเองเป็นทาส เราจะตอบแทนพวกเขาตามการกระทำและสิ่งที่มือพวกเขาทำ”
15¶ For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
15พระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล กล่าวกับข้าพเจ้าว่า “รับถ้วยเหล้าองุ่นแห่งความโกรธนี้จากมือเรา แล้วให้ทุกชนชาติที่เราส่งเจ้าไปหาดื่มมัน
16And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.
16พวกเขาจะดื่ม เดินโซเซไปมา และเสียสติ เพราะดาบที่เราจะส่งเข้าไปท่ามกลางพวกเขา”
17Then took I the cup at the LORD’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
17ข้าพเจ้าจึงรับถ้วยจากมือพระยาห์เวห์ และให้ทุกชนชาติที่พระยาห์เวห์ส่งข้าพเจ้าไปหาดื่ม
18To wit , Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
18ได้แก่ เยรูซาเล็มและเมืองต่าง ๆ ของยูดาห์ พร้อมกับกษัตริย์และขุนนางของเมืองเหล่านั้น เพื่อให้รกร้าง เป็นที่น่าตกตะลึง เป็นที่เย้ยหยันและเป็นคำสาปแช่ง อย่างที่เป็นอยู่วันนี้
19Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
19ฟาโรห์ กษัตริย์อียิปต์ พร้อมกับข้าราชบริพาร ขุนนาง และประชาชนทั้งหมดของเขา
20And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,
20ผู้คนต่างเชื้อชาติทั้งหมด กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งดินแดนอูส กษัตริย์ทุกองค์ของชาวฟีลิสเตีย ทั้งอัชเคโลน กาซา เอโครน และผู้คนที่เหลืออยู่ในอัชโดด
21Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon,
21เอโดม โมอับ และชาวอัมโมน
22And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,
22กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งไทระ กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งไซดอน และกษัตริย์แห่งเกาะที่อยู่ฟากทะเล
23Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners,
23เดดาน เทมา บูส และทุกคนที่ตัดมุมเคราของตน
24And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,
24กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งอาระเบีย และกษัตริย์ทุกองค์ของผู้คนต่างเชื้อชาติที่อาศัยอยู่ในถิ่นกันดาร
25And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,
25กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งศิมรี กษัตริย์ทุกองค์แห่งเอลาม และกษัตริย์ทุกองค์ของชาวมีเดีย
26And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
26กษัตริย์ทุกองค์ทางเหนือ ทั้งใกล้และไกล ต่อ ๆ กันไป และอาณาจักรทั้งหมดในโลกที่อยู่บนพื้นแผ่นดิน กษัตริย์แห่งเชชัคจะดื่มต่อจากพวกเขา
27Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
27“จงบอกพวกเขาว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล กล่าวดังนี้ “ดื่มให้เมา อาเจียน ล้มลง และอย่าลุกขึ้นอีก เพราะดาบที่เราจะส่งเข้าไปท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า”’
28And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
28หากพวกเขาไม่ยอมรับถ้วยจากมือเจ้าไปดื่ม จงบอกพวกเขาว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพกล่าวดังนี้ “พวกเจ้าต้องดื่มแน่
29For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
29จงฟัง เราเริ่มทำให้เกิดภัยร้ายที่เมืองซึ่งเรียกตามนามของเรา แล้วพวกเจ้าจะพ้นโทษไปได้อย่างนั้นหรือ? พวกเจ้าจะไม่พ้นโทษ เพราะเราจะเรียกดาบมาต่อสู้กับทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่บนแผ่นดิน พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพกล่าว”’
30Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes , against all the inhabitants of the earth.
30“ดังนั้นจงพยากรณ์ถ้อยคำทั้งหมดนี้ต่อพวกเขา และบอกว่า “‘พระยาห์เวห์จะคำรามจากเบื้องบน และเปล่งเสียงจากที่อยู่บริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ พระองค์จะคำรามอย่างกึกก้องต่อคอกของพระองค์ พระองค์จะตะโกนอย่างคนย่ำองุ่น ต่อทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่บนแผ่นดิน
31A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD .
31เสียงจะไปถึงสุดปลายแผ่นดิน เพราะพระยาห์เวห์มีข้อพิพาทกับชนชาติทั้งปวง พระองค์จะพิพากษามนุษย์ทุกคน ส่วนคนชั่ว พระองค์จะมอบให้ดาบสังหาร”’ พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว”
32Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
32พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพกล่าวว่า “จงฟัง ภัยร้ายจะลามจากชนชาติหนึ่งไปอีกชนชาติหนึ่ง พายุใหญ่จะก่อตัวขึ้นจากสุดปลายแผ่นดิน”
33And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
33ในวันนั้น ผู้ที่ถูกพระยาห์เวห์สังหารจะมีอยู่ตั้งแต่ปลายแผ่นดินด้านหนึ่งถึงอีกด้านหนึ่ง ไม่มีใครคร่ำครวญให้ ไม่มีใครรวบรวมหรือฝังพวกเขา พวกเขาจะเป็นเหมือนมูลที่กองอยู่บนพื้นดิน
34¶ Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes , ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
34ผู้เลี้ยงแกะทั้งหลาย จงร้องไห้คร่ำครวญ ผู้นำฝูงแกะ จงเกลือกกลิ้งในฝุ่น เพราะวันเวลาที่พวกเจ้าจะถูกฆ่าและกระจัดกระจายมาถึงครบถ้วนแล้ว พวกเจ้าจะล้มลงเหมือนเครื่องปั้นดินเผาชั้นดี
35And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
35ผู้เลี้ยงแกะจะไม่มีทางหนี ผู้นำฝูงแกะจะไม่มีทางรอด
36A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.
36ได้ยินเสียงร้องของผู้เลี้ยงแกะ และเสียงคร่ำครวญของผู้นำฝูงแกะ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ทำลายทุ่งหญ้าของพวกเขา
37And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD .
37คอกแกะที่เคยสงบสุขกลับเงียบงัน เพราะความโกรธเกรี้ยวของพระยาห์เวห์
38He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
38พระองค์ออกจากที่ซ่อนเหมือนสิงโต เพราะดินแดนของพวกเขากลายเป็นที่น่าตกตะลึง ด้วยความรุนแรงของการกดขี่ และด้วยความโกรธเกรี้ยวของพระองค์
