1And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
1โมเสสขึ้นจากที่ราบโมอับไปยังภูเขาเนโบ ถึงยอดปิสกาห์ซึ่งอยู่ตรงข้ามเยรีโค พระยาห์เวห์ทรงให้เขาเห็นแผ่นดินทั้งหมด ตั้งแต่กิเลอาดไปถึงดาน
2And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
2ทั้งนัฟทาลี แผ่นดินของเอฟราอิมกับมนัสเสห์ และแผ่นดินทั้งหมดของยูดาห์ไปจนถึงทะเลตะวันตก
3And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
3ทั้งดินแดนทางใต้ และที่ราบหุบเขาเยรีโค เมืองแห่งต้นอินทผลัม ไปจนถึงโศอาร์
4And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
4พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสกับเขาว่า “นี่คือแผ่นดินที่เราได้ปฏิญาณต่ออับราฮัม อิสอัค และยาโคบว่า ‘เราจะมอบให้ลูกหลานของเจ้า’ เราให้เจ้าเห็นด้วยตาของเจ้าแล้ว แต่เจ้าจะไม่ได้ข้ามไปที่นั่น”
5¶ So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD .
5โมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระยาห์เวห์จึงตายที่นั่นในแผ่นดินโมอับ ตามถ้อยคำของพระยาห์เวห์
6And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
6พระองค์ทรงฝังเขาไว้ในหุบเขาในแผ่นดินโมอับ ตรงข้ามเบธเปโอร์ แต่จนถึงวันนี้ไม่มีใครรู้ว่าหลุมฝังศพของเขาอยู่ที่ไหน
7¶ And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
7โมเสสอายุหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบปีเมื่อตาย สายตาของเขายังไม่ฝ้าฟาง และกำลังยังไม่เสื่อมถอย
8¶ And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
8ลูกหลานอิสราเอลร้องไห้ไว้อาลัยโมเสสในที่ราบโมอับสามสิบวัน จนครบกำหนดไว้ทุกข์
9¶ And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
9โยชูวาบุตรนูนเต็มเปี่ยมด้วยจิตแห่งปัญญา เพราะโมเสสได้วางมือบนเขา ลูกหลานอิสราเอลจึงฟังเขาและทำตามที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงบัญชาโมเสส
10¶ And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
10ตั้งแต่นั้นมา ไม่เคยมีผู้เผยพระวจนะคนใดเกิดขึ้นในอิสราเอลเหมือนโมเสส ผู้ที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงรู้จักหน้าต่อหน้า
11In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
11ทั้งในหมายสำคัญและการอัศจรรย์ทั้งปวงที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงส่งเขาไปทำในแผ่นดินอียิปต์ ต่อฟาโรห์ ข้าราชการทั้งหมดของเขา และทั่วทั้งแผ่นดิน
12And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
12ทั้งสิ่งที่โมเสสทำด้วยมืออันทรงพลัง และการกระทำอันน่าเกรงขามทั้งปวงต่อหน้าอิสราเอลทั้งหมด
