Zechariah 13

1In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for purification and for sprinkling.
1「その日、罪と汚れを清めるために、ダビデの家とエルサレムの住民のために泉が開かれる。
2And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
2その日」と万軍の主は言われる。「私は偶像の名をこの地から消し去り、それらは二度と思い出されない。また、預言者たちと汚れの霊をこの地から追い払う。
3And it shall come to pass that, when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begot him shall say unto him: 'Thou shalt not live, for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD'; and his father and his mother that begot him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
3それでもなお預言する者がいれば、その者を産んだ父と母は、『あなたは主の御名によって偽りを語ったので、死ななければならない』と言う。その者を産んだ父と母は、その者が預言する時に刺し通す。
4And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be brought to shame every one through his vision, when he prophesieth; neither shall they wear a hairy mantle to deceive;
4その日、預言者たちはそれぞれ、預言する時に自分の幻を恥じる。彼らは人を欺くために毛皮の外套を着ることはない。
5but he shall say: 'I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.'
5彼は言う。『私は預言者ではない。私は土地を耕す者だ。私は若いころから奴隷にされていた。』
6And one shall say unto him: 'What are these wounds between thy hands?' Then he shall answer: 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'
6ある人が彼に、『あなたの両腕の間、胸にあるこの傷は何か』と尋ねると、彼は、『友人たちの家で受けた傷だ』と答える。」
7Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is near unto Me, saith the LORD of hosts; smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn My hand upon the little ones.
7「剣よ、目を覚ませ。私の羊飼いに立ち向かえ。 私に近い者に立ち向かえ」 と万軍の主は言われる。 「羊飼いを打て。羊は散らされる。 私は小さい者たちに向かって手を伸ばす。
8And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
8この地全体で」と主は言われる。 「三分の二は断ち滅ぼされて死に、 三分の一がそこに残される。
9And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried; they shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say: 'It is My people', and they shall say: 'The LORD is my God.'
9私はその三分の一を火の中に入れ、 銀を精錬するように彼らを精錬し、 金を試すように彼らを試す。 彼らは私の名を呼び求め、 私は彼らに答える。 私は『これは私の民だ』と言い、 彼らは『主は私の神だ』と言う。」
