1あなたの兄弟アロンと、その子らを彼と共に、イスラエルの子らの中からあなたの近くに呼び寄せ、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせなさい。すなわち、アロンと、アロンの子らであるナダブ、アビフ、エルアザル、イタマルである。
1And bring thou near unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
2栄光と美しさのために、あなたの兄弟アロンのために聖なる衣服を造りなさい。
2And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for splendour and for beauty.
3わたしが知恵の霊で満たした、心に知恵のある者たちに告げ、アロンの衣服を造らせなさい。彼を聖別し、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせるためである。
3And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
4造る衣服は、胸当て、エポデ、上着、織り模様の長衣、ターバン、飾り帯である。アロンとその子らが祭司として仕えるため、聖なる衣服を造りなさい。
4And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a tunic of chequer work, a mitre, and a girdle; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
5金、青色、紫色、緋色の糸、および亜麻布を用いる。
5And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
6熟練した職人の細工によって、金、青色、紫色、緋色の糸と、撚り糸で織った亜麻布でエポデを造る。
6And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skilful workman.
7両端に二つの肩ひもを付け、つなぎ合わせる。
7It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined to the two ends thereof, that it may be joined together.
8エポデの上にある巧みに織られた帯は、同じような細工で、それと一体にしなさい。すなわち、金、青色、紫色、緋色の糸、撚り糸で織った亜麻布で作る。
8And the skilfully woven band, which is upon it, wherewith to gird it on, shall be like the work thereof and of the same piece: of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9二つの縞めのうを取り、その上にイスラエルの子らの名前を彫りなさい。
9And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
10一方の石に彼らの名前を六つ、もう一方の石に残りの六つの名前を、生まれた順に彫りなさい。
10six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, according to their birth.
11石の彫刻師が印章を彫るように、イスラエルの子らの名を二つの石に彫り、金の枠にはめ込みなさい。
11With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel; thou shalt make them to be inclosed in settings of gold.
12その二つの石をエポデの肩ひもに付け、イスラエルの子らのための記念の石としなさい。アロンは彼らの名前を主の前の両肩に負い、記念とする。
12And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
13金の枠を造りなさい。
13And thou shalt make settings of gold;
14純金で、撚り合わせたひものような二本の鎖を造り、枠に取り付けなさい。
14and two chains of pure gold; of plaited thread shalt thou make them, of wreathen work; and thou shalt put the wreathen chains on the settings.
15熟練した職人の細工によって裁きの胸当てを造りなさい。エポデと同じく、金、青色、紫色、緋色の糸と、撚り糸で織った亜麻布で造る。
15And thou shalt make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skilful workman; like the work of the ephod thou shalt make it: of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
16正方形に二つ折りにし、長さも幅も一スパンとする。
16Four-square it shall be and double: a span shall be the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof.
17その中に石をはめ込み、四列の石を並べなさい。第一列はルビー、トパーズ、緑柱石の列としなさい。
17And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of carnelian, topaz, and smaragd shall be the first row;
18第二列はトルコ石、サファイア、エメラルドとする。
18and the second row a carbuncle, a sapphire, and an emerald;
19第三列はヒヤシンス石、めのう、紫水晶とする。
19and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20第四列はクリソライト、縞めのう、碧玉とし、金の枠にはめ込む。
20and the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper; they shall be inclosed in gold in their settings.
21石はイスラエルの子らの名に従って十二個とする。印章を彫るように、それぞれ十二部族の名を彫りなさい。
21And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
22胸当ての上に、純金で撚り合わせた編んだひものような鎖を造りなさい。
22And thou shalt make upon the breastplate plaited chains of wreathen work of pure gold.
23胸当ての上に二つの金の環を造り、その二つの環を胸当ての両端に取り付けなさい。
23And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
24その二つの金の編んだ鎖を、胸当ての端にある二つの環に通しなさい。
24And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold on the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
25二つの編んだ鎖の他の二つの端を、二つの枠に取り付け、それをエポデの前面の肩ひもに取り付けなさい。
25And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the forepart thereof.
26二つの金の環を造り、胸当ての両端、すなわち内側のエポデに向いている側の縁にそれを取り付けなさい。
26And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate, upon the edge thereof, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
27二つの金の環を造り、それをエポデの二つの肩ひもの下部、前面のつなぎ目の近く、エポデの巧みに織られた帯の上に取り付けなさい。
27And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and shalt put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, in the forepart thereof, close by the coupling thereof, above the skilfully woven band of the ephod.
28胸当ての環とエポデの環を青いひもで結び、胸当てをエポデの帯の上に固定して、ずれないようにする。
28And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a thread of blue, that it may be upon the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
29アロンは聖所に入る時、裁きの胸当てにあるイスラエルの子らの名を胸に帯び、主の前で絶えず記念とする。
29And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
30裁きの胸当てにウリムとトンミムを入れなさい。アロンが主の前に進み出る時、それらを胸に帯びる。こうしてアロンは、イスラエルの子らの裁きを常に主の前で胸に負う。
30And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD; and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
31エポデの上着を、すべて青色で造りなさい。
31And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32中央に頭を通す穴を設け、よろいの襟のように周囲を織物で縁取り、裂けないようにする。
32And it shall have a hole for the head in the midst thereof; it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a coat of mail that it be not rent.
33その裾の周囲には、青色、紫色、緋色の糸でざくろを造り、その裾の周囲に置き、それらの間に金の鈴を配置しなさい。
33And upon the skirts of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the skirts thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
34上着の裾の周囲に、金の鈴とざくろ、金の鈴とざくろを交互に配置する。
34a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the skirts of the robe round about.
35アロンは奉仕の時にこれを着る。彼が主の前の聖所に入る時も、出る時も、その音が聞こえるようにする。そうすれば死ぬことはない。
35And it shall be upon Aaron to minister; and the sound thereof shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
36純金の札を造り、印章を彫るように、その上に『主に聖なるもの』と彫りなさい。
36And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and engrave upon it, like the engravings of a signet: HOLY TO THE LORD.
37それを青いひもに付け、ターバンの前面に置きなさい。
37And thou shalt put it on a thread of blue, and it shall be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
38それをアロンの額に置く。アロンは、イスラエルの子らが聖なる贈り物として献げる聖なる物に関わる咎を負う。それが常に額にあれば、彼らは主の前に受け入れられる。
38And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity committed in the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow, even in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
39亜麻布で長衣とターバンを造り、刺繍をする者の細工によって飾り帯を造りなさい。
39And thou shalt weave the tunic in chequer work of fine linen, and thou shalt make a mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make a girdle, the work of the weaver in colours.
40アロンの子らのためにも長衣、飾り帯、頭帯を造り、栄光と美しさを表しなさい。
40And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make tunics, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and head-tires shalt thou make for them, for splendour and for beauty.
41あなたの兄弟アロンと、彼と共にいるその子らにこれらを着せ、彼らに油を注ぎ、彼らを任職し、聖別して、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせなさい。
41And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and upon his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
42裸を覆うため、亜麻布の下衣を造りなさい。腰からももまでを覆うものとする。
42And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach.
43アロンとその子らが会見の天幕に入る時、また聖所で仕えるため祭壇に近づく時に、これを身に着ける。咎を負って死ぬことのないためである。これは彼とその子孫に対する永遠の掟である。
43And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they go in unto the tent of meeting, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die; it shall be a statute for ever unto him and unto his seed after him.
