1ALLELUIA. Lodate il Nome del Signore; Lodate lo, voi servitori del Signore;
1Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD. Give praise, O servants of the LORD,
2Che state nella Casa del Signore, Ne' cortili della Casa del nostro Dio.
2who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
3Lodate il Signore; perciocchè il Signore è buono; Salmeggiate al suo Nome, perciocchè è amabile.
3Hallelujah, for the LORD is good; sing praises to His name, for it is lovely.
4Conciossiachè il Signore si abbia eletto Giacobbe Ed Israele per suo tesoro riposto.
4For the LORD has chosen Jacob as His own, Israel as His treasured possession.
5Certo io conosco che il Signore è grande, E che il nostro Signore è maggiore di tutti gl'iddii.
5For I know that the LORD is great; our Lord is above all gods.
6Il Signore fa tutto ciò che gli piace In cielo ed in terra; Ne' mari, ed in tutti gli abissi.
6The LORD does all that pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and in all their depths.
7Egli fa salire i vapori dall'estremità dalle terra; Egli fa i lampi per la pioggia; Egli trae fuori il vento da' suoi tesori.
7He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He generates the lightning with the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses.

8He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, of both man and beast.

9He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.
10Che percosse nazioni grandi, Ed uccise re potenti;
10He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings:
11Sihon, re degli Amorrei, E Og, re di Basan, E i re di tutti i regni di Canaan;
11Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan.
12E diede i lor paesi per eredità, Per eredità ad Israele, suo popolo.
12He gave their land as an inheritance, as a heritage to His people Israel.
13O Signore, il tuo Nome è in eterno; O Signore, la memoria di te è per ogni età.
13Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your renown, O LORD, through all generations.
14Quando il Signore avrà fatti i suoi giudicii sopra il suo popolo, Egli si pentirà per amor de' suoi servitori.
14For the LORD will vindicate His people and will have compassion on His servants.
15Gl'idoli delle genti sono argento ed oro, Opera di mani d'uomini;
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men.
16Hanno bocca, e non parlano; Hanno occhi, e non veggono;
16They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see;
17Hanno orecchi, e non odono; Ed anche non hanno fiato alcuno nella lor bocca.
17they have ears, but cannot hear; nor is there breath in their mouths.
18Simili ad essi sieno quelli che li fanno; Chiunque in essi si confida.
18Those who make them become like them, as do all who trust in them.
19Casa d'Israele, benedite il Signore; Casa d'Aaronne, benedite il Signore.
19O house of Israel, bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD;
20Casa di Levi, benedite il Signore; Voi che temete il Signore, beneditelo.
20O house of Levi, bless the LORD; you who fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
21Benedetto sia da Sion il Signore, Che abita in Gerusalemme. Alleluia.
21Blessed be the LORD from Zion— He who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
