1BOEIPA aw poek lamtah kaimih taengkah aka thoeng te paelki laeh. Paelki lamtah kaimih sokah kokhahnah he hmu lah.
1Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us; behold, and see our reproach.
2Kaimih kah rho te hlanglak taengla, ka im te kholong taengla pawk coeng.
2Our inheritance is turned unto strangers, our houses unto aliens.
3Cadah la ka om uh tih nuhmai bangla ka manu napa a om moenih.
3We are become orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.
4Kamamih tui ha tangka neh ka ok uh tih kamamih kah thing ha a phu daengah ha pawk.
4We have drunk our water for money; our wood cometh to us for price.
5Ka rhawn ah n'hloem uh vaengah ka kohnue uh pawt bangla kaimih he n'duem sak pawh.
5To our very necks we are pursued; we labour, and have no rest.
6Buh ka cung uh ham khaw Egypt neh Assyria taengah kut ka duen uh.
6We have given the hand to Egypt, and to Assyria, to have bread enough;
7A pa rhoek khaw tholh uh tih kaimih taengah a om voel moenih. Tedae kaimih loh amih kathaesainah te ka phueih uh.
7Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.
8Sal rhoekkaimih soah n'taemrhai uh tih amih kut lamkah aka bawt om pawh.
8Servants rule over us; there is none to deliver us out of their hand.
9Khosoek cunghang hmai ah ka hinglu nen ni ka buh ka dang uh.
9We get our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.
10Khokha rhamling hmai ah ka vin khaw hmaiulh bangla tloo coeng.
10Our skin is hot like an oven because of the burning heat of famine.
11Zion kah huta rhoek neh Judah khopuei kah oila rhoek khaw a tholh puei uh.
11They have ravished the women in Zion, the maidens in the cities of Judah.
12Amih kut neh mangpa rhoek a kuiok sak tih patong rhoek kah maelhmai khaw hiin uh pawh.
12Princes are hanged up by their hand; the faces of elders are not honoured.
13Tongpang rhoek loh phaklung a phueih uh tih camoe rhoek te thingpum dongah paloe uh.
13The young men have borne the mill, and the children have stumbled under the wood.
14Vongka lamkah patong rhoek neh, tongpang rhoek khaw a rhotoeng lamloh kangkuen uh.
14The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.
15Kaimih lungbuei kah omthennah he kangkuen coeng tih kaimih kah lamnah khaw nguekcoinah la poeh.
15The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16Kamih lu kah rhuisam khaw yulh coeng. Anunae ka tholh uh khaw kaimih ham coeng ni.
16The crown is fallen from our head; woe unto us! for we have sinned.
17Te dongah ko kaimih lungbuei he pumthim hainak la coeng. He dongah kaimih kah maelhmai khaw hmuep.
17For this our heart is faint, for these things our eyes are dim;
18Zion tlang aka pong te a soah maetang ni a pongpa coeng.
18For the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
19BOEIPA namah tah kumhal duela na om tih, na ngolkhoel khaw cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma duela cak.
19Thou, O LORD, art enthroned for ever, Thy throne is from generation to generation.
20Balae tih a yoeyah la kaimih nan hnilh? Kaimih nan hnoo khaw khohnin loh sen.
20Wherefore dost Thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time?
21BOEIPA aw kaimih he namah taengah m'mael sak laeh. Ka mael uh van daengah ni hlamat kah bangla kaimih kah khohnin thai neh ka mael uh eh.
21Turn Thou us unto Thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
22Kaimih taengah a nah la na thintoek tih kaimih he nan hnawt nan hnawt mai.
22Thou canst not have utterly rejected us, and be exceeding wroth against us!
