1Come let us praise the Lord with joy: let us joyfully sing to God our saviour.
1يَا إِلَهَ ٱلنَّقَمَاتِ يَارَبُّ، يَا إِلَهَ ٱلنَّقَمَاتِ، أَشْرِقِ.
2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
2ٱرْتَفِعْ يَا دَيَّانَ ٱلْأَرْضِ. جَازِ صَنِيعَ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ.
3For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
3حَتَّى مَتَى ٱلْخُطَاةُ يَارَبُّ، حَتَّى مَتَى ٱلْخُطَاةُ يَشْمَتُونَ؟
4For in his hand are all the ends of the earth: and the heights of the mountains are his.
4يُبِقُّونَ، يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِوَقَاحَةٍ. كُلُّ فَاعِلِي ٱلْإِثْمِ يَفْتَخِرُونَ.
5For the sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
5يَسْحَقُونَ شَعْبَكَ يَارَبُّ، وَيُذِلُّونَ مِيرَاثَكَ.
6Come let us adore and fall down: and weep before the Lord that made us.
6يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلْأَرْمَلَةَ وَٱلْغَرِيبَ، وَيُمِيتُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ.
7For he is the Lord our God: and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
7وَيَقُولُونَ: «ٱلرَّبُّ لَا يُبْصِرُ، وَإِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ لَا يُلَاحِظُ».
8Today if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts:
8اِفْهَمُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلْبُلَدَاءُ فِي ٱلشَّعْبِ، وَيَا جُهَلَاءُ مَتَى تَعْقِلُونَ؟
9As in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness: where your fathers tempted me, they proved me, and saw my works.
9ٱلْغَارِسُ ٱلْأُذُنِ أَلَا يَسْمَعُ؟ ٱلصَّانِعُ ٱلْعَيْنَ أَلَا يُبْصِرُ؟
10Forty years long was I offended with that generation, and I said: These always err in heart.
10ٱلْمُؤَدِّبُ ٱلْأُمَمَ أَلَا يُبَكِّتُ؟ ٱلْمُعَلِّمُ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ مَعْرِفَةً.
11And these men have not known my ways: so I swore in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
11ٱلرَّبُّ يَعْرِفُ أَفْكَارَ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ أَنَّهَا بَاطِلَةٌ.

12طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلَّذِي تُؤَدِّبُهُ يَارَبُّ، وَتُعَلِّمُهُ مِنْ شَرِيعَتِكَ

13لِتُرِيحَهُ مِنْ أَيَّامِ ٱلشَّرِّ، حَتَّى تُحْفَرَ لِلشِّرِّيرِ حُفْرَةٌ.

14لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ لَا يَرْفُضُ شَعْبَهُ، وَلَا يَتْرُكُ مِيرَاثَهُ.

15لِأَنَّهُ إِلَى ٱلْعَدْلِ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْقَضَاءُ، وَعَلَى أَثَرِهِ كُلُّ مُسْتَقِيمِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ.

16مَنْ يَقُومُ لِي عَلَى ٱلْمُسِيئِينَ؟ مَنْ يَقِفُ لِي ضِدَّ فَعَلَةِ ٱلْإِثْمِ؟

17لَوْلَا أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ مُعِينِي، لَسَكَنَتْ نَفْسِي سَرِيعًا أَرْضَ ٱلسُّكُوتِ.

18إِذْ قُلْتُ: «قَدْ زَلَّتْ قَدَمِي» فَرَحْمَتُكَ يَارَبُّ تَعْضُدُنِي.

19عِنْدَ كَثْرَةِ هُمُومِي فِي دَاخِلِي، تَعْزِيَاتُكَ تُلَذِّذُ نَفْسِي.

20هَلْ يُعَاهِدُكَ كُرْسِيُّ ٱلْمَفَاسِدِ، ٱلْمُخْتَلِقُ إِثْمًا عَلَى فَرِيضَةٍ؟

21يَزْدَحِمُونَ عَلَى نَفْسِ ٱلصِّدِّيقِ، وَيَحْكُمُونَ عَلَى دَمٍ زَكِيٍّ.

22فَكَانَ ٱلرَّبُّ لِي صَرْحًا، وَإِلَهِي صَخْرَةَ مَلْجَإِي.

23وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِثْمَهُمْ، وَبِشَرِّهِمْ يُفْنِيهِمْ. يُفْنِيهِمُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا.
