Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1Doth not wisdom cry aloud, and prudence put forth her voice?
1Lohng! Lalmwetmet el wowoyak. Etauk el oru pusracl in lohngyuk.
2Standing in the top of the highest places by the way, in the midst of the paths.
2El tu fin tohktok uh sisken inkanek, Ac yen inkanek uh osun we.
3Beside the gates of the city, in the very doors she speaketh, saying:
3Ke nien utyak nu in siti uh Sisken mutunoa el pang ac fahk:
4O ye men, to you I call, and my voice is to the sons of men.
4“Nga kwafe suwos nukewa; Nga pang nu sin mwet nukewa faclu.
5O little ones, understand subtilty, and ye unwise, take notice.
5Kowos su srakna elahn tulik, oru kowos in elahn mwet matu. Ya kowos lalfon? Lutlut in oasr etauk lowos.
6Hear, for I will speak of great things: and my lips shall be opened to preach right things.
6Lohng kas wolana luk. Ma nukewa nga fahk uh suwohs.
7My mouth shall meditate truth, and my lips shall hate wickedness.
7Kas nukewa luk pwayena; Kas kikiap uh mwe srungayuk sik.
8All my words are just, there is nothing wicked nor perverse in them.
8Ma nukewa nga fahk uh pwaye, Wangin kutena ma sesuwos ku mwe kiapu mwet.
9They are right to them that understand, and just to them that find knowledge.
9Nu sin mwet liyaten uh, ma inge nukewa kalem, Ac nu selos su oasr etauk la, fisrasr elos in kalem kac.
10Receive my instruction, and not money: choose knowledge rather than gold.
10Sulela kas in luti luk liki na silver; Sulela etauk liki na in eis gold nasnas.
11For wisdom is better than all the most precious things: and whatsoever may be desired cannot be compared to it.
11“Nga pa Lalmwetmet. Nga wo liki mwe naweyuk uh; Wangin ma kom lungse ac ku in lumweyuk nu sik.
12I wisdom dwell in counsel, and am present in learned thoughts.
12Nga Lalmwetmet ac liyaten; Oasr etauk ac nunak suwohs in nga.
13The fear of the Lord hateth evil: I hate arrogance, and pride, and every wicked way, and a mouth with a double tongue.
13Elos nukewa su akfulatye LEUM GOD elos kwase ma koluk. Nga srunga inse fulat ac filang, Oayapa inkanek koluk ac kas kikiap.
14Counsel and equity is mine, prudence is mine, strength is mine.
14Nga orek pwapa, ac nga akfahsrye. Oasr ku ac etauk yuruk.
15By me kings reign, and lawgivers decree just things,
15Nga kasru tokosra uh in leumi mwet uh, Ac nga kasru mwet kol in oru ma sap suwohs.
16By me princes rule, and the mighty decree justice.
16Mwet kol nukewa faclu leumi mwet uh ke kasru luk — Fisrak ac mwet leum fin faclu oana sie.
17I love them that love me: and they that in the morning early watch for me, shall find me.
17Nga lungse elos nukewa su lungse nga; Kutena mwet su sukyu, ku in koneyuyak.
18With me are riches and glory, glorious riches and justice.
18Oasr mwe kasrup ac sunak, Wo ouiya ac kapkapak yuruk in kitala.
19For my fruit is better than gold and the precious stone, and my blossoms than choice silver.
19Ma kom ac eis sik uh saok liki gold ma wo emeet, Ac wo liki pac silver ma arulana nasnas.
20I walk in the way of justice, in the midst of the paths of judgment,
20Nga fufahsryesr ke inkanek suwoswos; Nga fahsr tukun inkanek lun nununku suwohs.
21That I may enrich them that love me, and may fill their treasures.
21Nga sang mwe kasrup nu selos su lungse nga, Ac nwakla lohm selos ke ma saok.
22The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his ways, before he made any thing from the beginning.
22“ LEUM GOD El oreyula meet liki ma nukewa, Orekma se emeet lal in pacl loeloes somla.
23I was set up from eternity, and of old before the earth was made.
23Orekla nga ke mutaweyen ma nukewa, Meet liki na orekla faclu.
24The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived. neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out:
24Nga isusla meet liki oasr meoa, Pacl ma soenna oasr unon in kof.
25The mountains with their huge bulk had not as yet been established: before the hills I was brought forth:
25Nga isusla meet liki oasr fineol uh, Meet liki tohktok uh oakiyuki,
26He had not yet made the earth, nor the rivers, nor the poles of the world.
26Meet liki na ke God El orala faclu, ku inima we — Soenna oasr kutkut srisrik lun infohk uh.
27When he prepared the heavens, I was present: when with a certain law and compass he enclosed the depths:
27Nga oasr we ke El oakiya ma oan inkusrao, Ac ke El asroelik pekusra uh fin meoa,
28When he established the sky above, and poised the fountains of waters:
28Ke pacl se el filiya pukunyeng yen engyengu, Ke El ikasla unon in kof in meoa,
29When he compassed the sea with its bounds, and set a law to the waters that they should not pass their limits: when be balanced the foundations of the earth;
29Ac ke El sapkin tuh kof in meoa uh in tia alukela srikasrak ma El oakiya. Nga muta we ke El oakiya pwelung loangeyen faclu.
30I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times;
30Nga muta siskal oana sie mwet lemlem nu ke musa. Len nukewa nga mwe engan nu sel, Ac nga engan ye mutal pacl nukewa —
31Playing in the world: and my delights were to be with the children of men.
31Nga engan ke faclu, Ac ke mwet su muta fin faclu.
32Now therefore, ye children, hear me: Blessed are they that keep my ways.
32“Ke ma inge, tulik nutik, lohngyu inge. Oru oana ke nga fahk, ac kowos ac fah insewowo.
33Hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not.
33Lohng ma lutiyuk kowos kac, Aklalmwetmetye kowos, ac tia pilesru.
34Blessed is the man that heareth me, and that watcheth daily at my gates, and waiteth at the posts of my doors.
34Insewowo mwet se su muta ke mutunoa sik len nukewa, Ac soano in lohngyu ke nien utyak nu inkul sik.
35He that shall find me, shall find life, and shall have salvation from the Lord:
35Mwet se su koneyuyak el konauk moul, Ac LEUM GOD El ac fah insewowo sel.
36But he that shall sin against me, shall hurt his own soul. All that hate me love death.
36Mwet se su tia koneyuyak el sifacna kunausulla; Kutena mwet su srungayu, lungse misa.”
