1所羅門 建造耶和華殿和王宮，並一切所願意建造的都完畢了，
1And it came to pass when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Lord, and the king’s house, and all that he desired, and was pleased to do,
2耶和華就二次向 所羅門 顯現，如先前在 基遍 向他顯現一樣，
2That the Lord appeared to him the second time, as he had appeared to him in Gabaon.
3對他說：「你向我所禱告祈求的，我都應允了。我已將你所建的這殿分別為聖，使我的名永遠在其中；我的眼、我的心也必常在那裏。
3And the Lord said to him: I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, which thou hast made before me: I have sanctified this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever, and my eyes and my heart shall be there always.
4你若效法你父 大衛 ，存誠實正直的心行在我面前，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，
4And if thou wilt walk before me, as thy father walked, in simplicity of heart, and in uprightness: and wilt do all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my ordinances and my judgments,
5我就必堅固你的國位在 以色列 中，直到永遠，正如我應許你父 大衛 說：『你 的子孫 必不斷人坐 以色列 的國位。』
5I will establish the throne of thy kingdom over Israel for ever, as I promised David thy father, saying: There shall not fail a man of thy race upon the throne of Israel.
6倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我，不守我指示你們的誡命律例，去事奉敬拜別神，
6But if you and your children revolting shall turn away from following me, and will not keep my commandments, and my ceremonies, which I have set before you, but will go and worship strange gods, and adore them:
7我就必將 以色列 人從我賜給他們的地上剪除，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使 以色列 人在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。
7I will take away Israel from the face of the land which I have given them; and the temple which I have sanctified to my name, I will cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb, and a byword among all people.
8這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝、嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』
8And this house shall be made an example of: every one that shall pass by it, shall be astonished, and shall hiss, and say: Why hath the Lord done thus to this land, and to this house:
9人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄領他們列祖出 埃及 地之耶和華－他們的上帝，去親近別神，事奉敬拜他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」
9And they shall answer: Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and followed strange gods, and adored them, and worshipped them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.
10所羅門 建造耶和華殿和王宮，這兩所二十年才完畢了。
10And when twenty years were ended after Solomon had built the two houses, that is, the house of the Lord, and the house of the king,
11泰爾 王 希蘭 曾照 所羅門 所要的，資助他香柏木、松木，和金子； 所羅門 王就把 加利利 地的二十座城給了 希蘭 。
11(Hiram the king of Tyre furnishing Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and gold according to all he had need of.) then Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
12希蘭 從 泰爾 出來，察看 所羅門 給他的城邑，就不喜悅，
12And Hiram came out of Tyre, to see the towns which Solomon had given him, and they pleased him not,
13說：「我兄啊，你給我的是甚麼城邑呢？」他就給這城邑之地起名叫 迦步勒 ，直到今日。
13And he said: Are these the cities which thou hast given me, brother? And he called them the land of Chabul, unto this day.
14希蘭 給 所羅門 一百二十他連得金子。
14And Hiram sent to king Solomon a hundred and twenty talents of gold.
15所羅門 王挑取服苦的人，是為建造耶和華的殿、自己的宮、 米羅 、 耶路撒冷 的城牆、 夏瑣 、 米吉多 ，並 基色 。
15This is the sum of the expenses, which king Solomon offered to build the house of the Lord, and his own house, and Mello, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Heser, and Mageddo, and Gazer.
16先前 埃及 王法老上來攻取 基色 ，用火焚燒，殺了城內居住的 迦南 人，將城賜給他女兒 所羅門 的妻作妝奩。
16Pharao the king of Egypt came up and took Gazer, and burnt it with fire: and slew the Chanaanite that dwelt in the city, and gave it for a dowry to his daughter, Solomon’s wife.
17所羅門 建造 基色 、下 伯‧和崙 、
17So Solomon built: Gazer, and Beth-horon the nether,
18巴拉 ，並國中曠野裏的 達莫 ，
18And Baalath, and Palmira in the land of the wilderness.
19又建造所有的積貨城，並屯車和馬兵的城，與 耶路撒冷 、 黎巴嫩 ，以及自己治理的全國中所願建造的。
19And all the towns that belonged to himself, and were not walled, he fortified, the cities also of the chariots, and the cities of the horsemen, and whatsoever he had a mind to build in Jerusalem, and in Libanus, and in all the land of his dominion.
20至於國中所剩下不屬 以色列 人的 亞摩利 人、 赫 人、 比利洗 人、 希未 人、 耶布斯 人，
20All the people that were left of the Amorrhites, and Hethites, and Pherezites, and Hevites, and Jebusites, that are not of the children of Israel:
21就是 以色列 人不能滅盡的， 所羅門 挑取他們的後裔作服苦的奴僕，直到今日。
21Their children, that were left in the land, to wit, such as the children of Israel had not been able to destroy, Solomon made tributary unto this day.
22惟有 以色列 人， 所羅門 不使他們作奴僕，乃是作他的戰士、臣僕、統領、軍長、車兵長、馬兵長。
22But of the children of Israel Solomon made not any to be bondmen, but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and captains, and overseers of the chariots and horses.
23所羅門 有五百五十督工的，監管工人。
23And there were five hundred and fifty chief officers set over all the works of Solomon, and they had people under them, and had charge over the appointed works.
24法老的女兒從 大衛城 搬到 所羅門 為她建造的宮裏。那時， 所羅門 才建造 米羅 。
24And the daughter of Pharao came up out of the city of David to her house, which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Mello.
25所羅門 每年三次在他為耶和華所築的壇上獻燔祭和平安祭，又在耶和華面前 的壇上 燒香。這樣，他建造殿的工程完畢了。
25Solomon also offered three times every year holocausts, and victims of peace offerings upon the altar which he had built to the Lord, and he burnt incense before the Lord: and the temple was finished.
26所羅門 王在 以東 地 紅海 邊，靠近 以祿 的 以旬‧迦別 製造船隻。
26And king Solomon made a fleet in Asiongaber, which is by Ailath on the shore of the Red Sea in the land of Edom.
27希蘭 差遣他的僕人，就是熟悉泛海的船家，與 所羅門 的僕人一同坐船航海。
27And Hiram sent his servants in the fleet, sailors that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
28他們到了 俄斐 ，從那裏得了四百二十他連得金子，運到 所羅門 王那裏。
28And they came to Ophir, and they brought from thence to king Solomon four hundred and twenty talents of gold.
