1เฮเซคียาห์ขึ้นครองราชย์เมื่ออายุ 25 ปี และครองราชย์ในเยรูซาเล็ม 29 ปี มารดาชื่ออาบียาห์บุตรสาวเศคาริยาห์
1Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2เขาทำสิ่งที่ถูกต้องในสายพระเนตรพระยาห์เวห์ เหมือนดาวิดบรรพบุรุษของเขา
2He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that David his father had done.
3ปีแรกแห่งรัชกาล เดือนแรก เขาเปิดประตูพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์และซ่อมแซม
3In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the LORD’s house and repaired them.
4เขาเรียกปุโรหิตกับชาวเลวีให้มารวมตัวกันที่ลานกว้างด้านตะวันออก
4He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,
5แล้วกล่าวว่า “ชาวเลวี จงฟังข้า บัดนี้จงชำระตนให้บริสุทธิ์ ชำระพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของบรรพบุรุษ และขนสิ่งสกปรกออกจากสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์
5and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.
6บรรพบุรุษของเราไม่ซื่อสัตย์ ทำสิ่งชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเรา พวกเขาทอดทิ้งพระองค์ หันหน้าหนีจากที่ประทับของพระยาห์เวห์และหันหลังให้
6For our fathers were unfaithful, and have done that which was evil in the LORD our God’s sight, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7ทั้งยังปิดประตูมุข ดับตะเกียง ไม่เผาเครื่องหอมและไม่ถวายเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวแด่พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลในสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์
7Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
8พระพิโรธของพระยาห์เวห์จึงตกแก่ยูดาห์กับเยรูซาเล็ม พระองค์ทรงให้พวกเขาพบความวุ่นวาย เป็นที่น่าตกตะลึงและถูกผู้คนเยาะเย้ย ดังที่ท่านเห็นอยู่
8Therefore the LORD’s wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9บิดาของเราล้มตายด้วยดาบ บุตรชาย บุตรสาว และภรรยาของเราตกเป็นเชลยเพราะเรื่องนี้
9For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10ข้าตั้งใจทำพันธสัญญากับพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอล เพื่อพระพิโรธอันรุนแรงของพระองค์จะหันไปจากเรา
10Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11ลูกเอ๋ย อย่าละเลยหน้าที่ พระยาห์เวห์ทรงเลือกพวกท่านให้ยืนต่อพระพักตร์ รับใช้พระองค์ ปฏิบัติหน้าที่และเผาเครื่องหอมถวาย”
11My sons, don’t be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.”
12ชาวเลวีจึงลุกขึ้น ฝ่ายลูกหลานโคฮาทมีมาหัทบุตรอามาสัย และโยเอลบุตรอาซาริยาห์ ฝ่ายลูกหลานเมรารีมีคีชบุตรอับดี และอาซาริยาห์บุตรเยฮัลเลเลล ฝ่ายลูกหลานเกอร์โชนมีโยอาห์บุตรศิมมาห์ และเอเดนบุตรโยอาห์
12Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
13ฝ่ายลูกหลานเอลีศาฟานมีชิมรีกับเยอูเอล ฝ่ายลูกหลานอาสาฟมีเศคาริยาห์กับมัททานิยาห์
13and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
14ฝ่ายลูกหลานเฮมานมีเยฮูเอลกับชิเมอี ฝ่ายลูกหลานเยดูธูนมีเชมายาห์กับอุสซีเอล
14and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
15พวกเขารวบรวมญาติพี่น้อง ชำระตนให้บริสุทธิ์ แล้วเข้าไปชำระพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ตามคำสั่งกษัตริย์ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์
15They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the LORD’s words, to cleanse the LORD’s house.
16ปุโรหิตเข้าไปชำระห้องชั้นในของพระวิหาร ขนสิ่งที่เป็นมลทินออกมายังลานพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ ชาวเลวีรับต่อแล้วนำไปทิ้งที่ลำธารขิดโรน
16The priests went into the inner part of the LORD’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the LORD’s temple into the court of the LORD’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.
17พวกเขาเริ่มชำระในวันที่ 1 เดือนที่ 1 วันที่ 8 จึงมาถึงมุขพระวิหาร ใช้เวลาอีก 8 วันชำระพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ และเสร็จในวันที่ 16 เดือนแรก
17Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the LORD’s porch. They sanctified the LORD’s house in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
18แล้วพวกเขาเข้าเฝ้ากษัตริย์เฮเซคียาห์ในวัง ทูลว่า “พวกข้าพระบาทชำระพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ทั้งหมดแล้ว รวมทั้งแท่นเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวและเครื่องใช้ต่าง ๆ โต๊ะขนมปังถวายและเครื่องใช้ทั้งหมด
18Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all the LORD’s house, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.
19เครื่องใช้ทุกชิ้นที่กษัตริย์อาหัสทิ้งไปเมื่อครั้งไม่ซื่อสัตย์ พวกข้าพระบาทก็เตรียมและชำระไว้แล้ว บัดนี้สิ่งเหล่านั้นอยู่หน้าแท่นบูชาของพระยาห์เวห์”
19Moreover, we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels which King Ahaz threw away in his reign when he was unfaithful. Behold, they are before the LORD’s altar.”
20เช้าตรู่ กษัตริย์เฮเซคียาห์เรียกผู้นำเมืองมารวมกันแล้วขึ้นไปพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์
20Then Hezekiah the king arose early, gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the LORD’s house.
21พวกเขานำโคตัวผู้ 7 ตัว แกะตัวผู้ 7 ตัว ลูกแกะ 7 ตัว และแพะตัวผู้ 7 ตัว มาเป็นเครื่องบูชาไถ่บาปสำหรับอาณาจักร สถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ และยูดาห์ กษัตริย์สั่งปุโรหิตลูกหลานอาโรนให้ถวายบนแท่นบูชาของพระยาห์เวห์
21They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the LORD’s altar.
22พวกเขาฆ่าโค ปุโรหิตรับเลือดมาประพรมบนแท่น จากนั้นฆ่าแกะตัวผู้แล้วประพรมเลือด และฆ่าลูกแกะแล้วประพรมเลือดบนแท่นเช่นกัน
22So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.

23They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them.

24Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
25เขาให้ชาวเลวียืนประจำในพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์ ถือฉาบ เครื่องสาย และพิณ ตามคำสั่งของดาวิด กาดผู้หยั่งรู้ของกษัตริย์ และนาธันผู้เผยพระวจนะ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ทรงสั่งผ่านผู้เผยพระวจนะเหล่านี้
25He set the Levites in the LORD’s house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was from the LORD by his prophets.
26ชาวเลวียืนพร้อมเครื่องดนตรีของดาวิด ส่วนปุโรหิตถือแตร
26The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.
27เฮเซคียาห์สั่งให้เริ่มถวายเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวบนแท่น ทันทีที่เริ่มถวาย เพลงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์ก็เริ่มพร้อมเสียงแตรและเครื่องดนตรีของดาวิดกษัตริย์อิสราเอล
27Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the LORD’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.
28ที่ประชุมทั้งหมดก้มลงนมัสการ นักร้องร้องเพลง คนเป่าแตรก็เป่าไปจนถวายเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวเสร็จ
28All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29เมื่อถวายเสร็จ กษัตริย์กับทุกคนที่อยู่ด้วยก้มลงนมัสการ
29When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
30กษัตริย์เฮเซคียาห์กับผู้นำสั่งชาวเลวีให้ร้องสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์ด้วยถ้อยคำของดาวิดและอาสาฟผู้หยั่งรู้ พวกเขาร้องด้วยความชื่นชมยินดี แล้วก้มลงนมัสการ
30Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
31เฮเซคียาห์กล่าวว่า “บัดนี้พวกท่านถวายตนแด่พระยาห์เวห์แล้ว จงนำเครื่องบูชาและเครื่องบูชาขอบพระคุณเข้ามาในพระวิหารของพระองค์” ที่ประชุมนำเครื่องบูชากับเครื่องบูชาขอบพระคุณมา ส่วนผู้ที่เต็มใจก็นำเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวมาด้วย
31Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD. Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the LORD’s house.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
32ที่ประชุมนำโค 70 ตัว แกะตัวผู้ 100 ตัว และลูกแกะ 200 ตัวมาถวายเป็นเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัว ทั้งหมดถวายแด่พระยาห์เวห์
32The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs. All these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33ส่วนสัตว์ที่ถวายแยกไว้มีโค 600 ตัวกับแกะ 3,000 ตัว
33The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
34ปุโรหิตมีน้อยเกินกว่าจะถลกหนังสัตว์สำหรับเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวได้หมด ชาวเลวีพี่น้องจึงช่วยจนงานเสร็จ และจนปุโรหิตคนอื่นชำระตนให้บริสุทธิ์ เพราะชาวเลวีตั้งใจชำระตนมากกว่าปุโรหิต
34But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
35เครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวมีมาก รวมทั้งไขมันจากเครื่องบูชาเพื่อสันติและเครื่องดื่มที่เทถวายคู่กับเครื่องบูชาเผาทั้งตัวทุกตัว งานรับใช้ในพระวิหารของพระยาห์เวห์จึงกลับเป็นระเบียบ
35Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the LORD’s house was set in order.
36เฮเซคียาห์กับประชาชนทั้งหมดชื่นชมยินดีที่พระเจ้าทรงจัดเตรียมสิ่งนี้ให้ประชาชน เพราะทุกอย่างเกิดขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว
36Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
