1希西家 登基的時候年二十五歲，在 耶路撒冷 作王二十九年。他母親名叫 亞比雅 ，是 撒迦利雅 的女兒。
1Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2希西家 行耶和華眼中看為正的事，效法他祖 大衛 一切所行的。
2He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that David his father had done.
3元年正月，開了耶和華殿的門，重新修理。
3In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the LORD’s house and repaired them.
4他召眾祭司和 利未 人來，聚集在東邊的寬闊處，
4He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,
5對他們說：「 利未 人哪，當聽我說：現在你們要潔淨自己，又潔淨耶和華－你們列祖上帝的殿，從聖所中除去污穢之物。
5and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.
6我們列祖犯了罪，行耶和華－我們上帝眼中看為惡的事，離棄他，轉臉背向他的居所，
6For our fathers were unfaithful, and have done that which was evil in the LORD our God’s sight, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7封鎖廊門，吹滅燈火，不在聖所中向 以色列 上帝燒香，或獻燔祭。
7Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
8因此，耶和華的忿怒臨到 猶大 和 耶路撒冷 ，將其中的人拋來拋去，令人驚駭、嗤笑，正如你們親眼所見的。
8Therefore the LORD’s wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9所以我們的祖宗倒在刀下，我們的妻子兒女也被擄掠。
9For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10現在我心中有意與耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝立約，好使他的烈怒轉離我們。
10Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11我的眾子啊，現在不要懈怠；因為耶和華揀選你們站在他面前事奉他，與他燒香。」
11My sons, don’t be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.”
12於是， 利未 人 哥轄 的子孫、 亞瑪賽 的兒子 瑪哈 ， 亞撒利雅 的兒子 約珥 ； 米拉利 的子孫、 亞伯底 的兒子 基士 ， 耶哈利勒 的兒子 亞撒利雅 ； 革順 的子孫、 薪瑪 的兒子 約亞 ， 約亞 的兒子 伊甸 ；
12Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
13以利撒反 的子孫 申利 和 耶利 ； 亞薩 的子孫 撒迦利雅 和 瑪探雅 ；
13and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
14希幔 的子孫 耶歇 和 示每 ； 耶杜頓 的子孫 示瑪雅 和 烏薛 ；
14and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
15起來聚集他們的弟兄，潔淨自己，照着王的吩咐、耶和華的命令，進去潔淨耶和華的殿。
15They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the LORD’s words, to cleanse the LORD’s house.
16祭司進入耶和華的殿要潔淨殿，將殿中所有污穢之物搬到耶和華殿的院內， 利未 人接去，搬到外頭 汲淪溪 邊。
16The priests went into the inner part of the LORD’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the LORD’s temple into the court of the LORD’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.
17從正月初一日潔淨起，初八日到了耶和華的殿廊，用八日的工夫潔淨耶和華的殿，到正月十六日才潔淨完了。
17Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the LORD’s porch. They sanctified the LORD’s house in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
18於是，他們晉見 希西家 王，說：「我們已將耶和華的全殿和燔祭壇，並壇的一切器皿、陳設餅的桌子，與桌子的一切器皿都潔淨了；
18Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all the LORD’s house, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.
19並且 亞哈斯 王在位犯罪的時候所廢棄的器皿，我們預備齊全，且潔淨了，現今都在耶和華的壇前。」
19Moreover, we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels which King Ahaz threw away in his reign when he was unfaithful. Behold, they are before the LORD’s altar.”
20希西家 王清早起來，聚集城裏的首領都上耶和華的殿；
20Then Hezekiah the king arose early, gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the LORD’s house.
21牽了七隻公牛，七隻公羊，七隻羊羔，七隻公山羊，要為國、為殿、為 猶大 人作贖罪祭。王吩咐 亞倫 的子孫眾祭司，獻在耶和華的壇上，
21They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the LORD’s altar.
22就宰了公牛，祭司接血灑在壇上，宰了公羊，把血灑在壇上，又宰了羊羔，也把血灑在壇上；
22So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
23把那作贖罪祭的公山羊牽到王和會眾面前，他們就按手在其上。
23They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them.
24祭司宰了羊，將血獻在壇上作贖罪祭，為 以色列 眾人贖罪，因為王吩咐將燔祭和贖罪祭為 以色列 眾人 獻上 。
24Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
25王又派 利未 人在耶和華殿中敲鈸，鼓瑟，彈琴，乃照 大衛 和他先見 迦得 ，並先知 拿單 所吩咐的，就是耶和華藉先知所吩咐的。
25He set the Levites in the LORD’s house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was from the LORD by his prophets.
26利未 人拿 大衛 的樂器，祭司拿號，一同站立。
26The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.
27希西家 吩咐在壇上獻燔祭，燔祭一獻，就唱讚美耶和華的歌，用號，並用 以色列 王 大衛 的樂器相和。
27Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the LORD’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.
28會眾都敬拜，歌唱的歌唱，吹號的吹號，如此直到燔祭獻完了。
28All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29獻完了祭，王和一切跟隨的人都俯伏敬拜。
29When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
30希西家 王與眾首領又吩咐 利未 人用 大衛 和先見 亞薩 的詩詞頌讚耶和華；他們就歡歡喜喜地頌讚耶和華，低頭敬拜。
30Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
31希西家 說：「你們既然歸耶和華為聖，就要前來把祭物和感謝祭奉到耶和華殿裏。」會眾就把祭物和感謝祭奉來，凡甘心樂意的也將燔祭奉來。
31Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD. Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the LORD’s house.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
32會眾所奉的燔祭如下：公牛七十隻，公羊一百隻，羊羔二百隻，這都是作燔祭獻給耶和華的；
32The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs. All these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33又有分別為聖之物，公牛六百隻，綿羊三千隻。
33The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
34但祭司太少，不能剝盡燔祭牲的皮，所以他們的弟兄 利未 人幫助他們，直等燔祭的事完了，又等 別的 祭司自潔了；因為 利未 人誠心自潔，勝過祭司。
34But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
35燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油，並燔祭同獻的奠祭甚多。這樣，耶和華殿中的事務俱都齊備了。
35Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the LORD’s house was set in order.
36這事辦的甚速， 希西家 和眾民都喜樂，是因上帝為眾民所預備的。
36Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
