1希西家 登基的时候年二十五岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王二十九年。他母亲名叫 亚比雅 ，是 撒迦利雅 的女儿。
1Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2希西家 行耶和华眼中看为正的事，效法他祖 大卫 一切所行的。
2He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that David his father had done.
3元年正月，开了耶和华殿的门，重新修理。
3In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the LORD’s house and repaired them.
4他召众祭司和 利未 人来，聚集在东边的宽阔处，
4He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,
5对他们说：「 利未 人哪，当听我说：现在你们要洁净自己，又洁净耶和华—你们列祖 神的殿，从圣所中除去污秽之物。
5and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.
6我们列祖犯了罪，行耶和华—我们 神眼中看为恶的事，离弃他，转脸背向他的居所，
6For our fathers were unfaithful, and have done that which was evil in the LORD our God’s sight, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7封锁廊门，吹灭灯火，不在圣所中向 以色列 神烧香，或献燔祭。
7Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
8因此，耶和华的忿怒临到 犹大 和 耶路撒冷 ，将其中的人抛来抛去，令人惊骇、嗤笑，正如你们亲眼所见的。
8Therefore the LORD’s wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9所以我们的祖宗倒在刀下，我们的妻子儿女也被掳掠。
9For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10现在我心中有意与耶和华— 以色列 的 神立约，好使他的烈怒转离我们。
10Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11我的众子啊，现在不要懈怠；因为耶和华拣选你们站在他面前事奉他，与他烧香。」
11My sons, don’t be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.”
12于是， 利未 人 哥辖 的子孙、 亚玛赛 的儿子 玛哈 ， 亚撒利雅 的儿子 约珥 ； 米拉利 的子孙、 亚伯底 的儿子 基士 ， 耶哈利勒 的儿子 亚撒利雅 ； 革顺 的子孙、 薪玛 的儿子 约亚 ， 约亚 的儿子 伊甸 ；
12Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
13以利撒反 的子孙 申利 和 耶利 ； 亚萨 的子孙 撒迦利雅 和 玛探雅 ；
13and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
14希幔 的子孙 耶歇 和 示每 ； 耶杜顿 的子孙 示玛雅 和 乌薛 ；
14and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
15起来聚集他们的弟兄，洁净自己，照着王的吩咐、耶和华的命令，进去洁净耶和华的殿。
15They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the LORD’s words, to cleanse the LORD’s house.
16祭司进入耶和华的殿要洁净殿，将殿中所有污秽之物搬到耶和华殿的院内， 利未 人接去，搬到外头 汲沦溪 边。
16The priests went into the inner part of the LORD’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the LORD’s temple into the court of the LORD’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.
17从正月初一日洁净起，初八日到了耶和华的殿廊，用八日的工夫洁净耶和华的殿，到正月十六日才洁净完了。
17Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the LORD’s porch. They sanctified the LORD’s house in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
18于是，他们晋见 希西家 王，说：「我们已将耶和华的全殿和燔祭坛，并坛的一切器皿、陈设饼的桌子，与桌子的一切器皿都洁净了；
18Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all the LORD’s house, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.
19并且 亚哈斯 王在位犯罪的时候所废弃的器皿，我们预备齐全，且洁净了，现今都在耶和华的坛前。」
19Moreover, we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels which King Ahaz threw away in his reign when he was unfaithful. Behold, they are before the LORD’s altar.”
20希西家 王清早起来，聚集城里的首领都上耶和华的殿；
20Then Hezekiah the king arose early, gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the LORD’s house.
21牵了七只公牛，七只公羊，七只羊羔，七只公山羊，要为国、为殿、为 犹大 人作赎罪祭。王吩咐 亚伦 的子孙众祭司，献在耶和华的坛上，
21They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the LORD’s altar.
22就宰了公牛，祭司接血洒在坛上，宰了公羊，把血洒在坛上，又宰了羊羔，也把血洒在坛上；
22So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
23把那作赎罪祭的公山羊牵到王和会众面前，他们就按手在其上。
23They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them.
24祭司宰了羊，将血献在坛上作赎罪祭，为 以色列 众人赎罪，因为王吩咐将燔祭和赎罪祭为 以色列 众人 献上 。
24Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
25王又派 利未 人在耶和华殿中敲钹，鼓瑟，弹琴，乃照 大卫 和他先见 迦得 ，并先知 拿单 所吩咐的，就是耶和华借先知所吩咐的。
25He set the Levites in the LORD’s house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was from the LORD by his prophets.
26利未 人拿 大卫 的乐器，祭司拿号，一同站立。
26The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.
27希西家 吩咐在坛上献燔祭，燔祭一献，就唱赞美耶和华的歌，用号，并用 以色列 王 大卫 的乐器相和。
27Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the LORD’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.
28会众都敬拜，歌唱的歌唱，吹号的吹号，如此直到燔祭献完了。
28All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29献完了祭，王和一切跟随的人都俯伏敬拜。
29When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
30希西家 王与众首领又吩咐 利未 人用 大卫 和先见 亚萨 的诗词颂赞耶和华；他们就欢欢喜喜地颂赞耶和华，低头敬拜。
30Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
31希西家 说：「你们既然归耶和华为圣，就要前来把祭物和感谢祭奉到耶和华殿里。」会众就把祭物和感谢祭奉来，凡甘心乐意的也将燔祭奉来。
31Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD. Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the LORD’s house.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
32会众所奉的燔祭如下：公牛七十只，公羊一百只，羊羔二百只，这都是作燔祭献给耶和华的；
32The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs. All these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33又有分别为圣之物，公牛六百只，绵羊三千只。
33The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
34但祭司太少，不能剥尽燔祭牲的皮，所以他们的弟兄 利未 人帮助他们，直等燔祭的事完了，又等 别的 祭司自洁了；因为 利未 人诚心自洁，胜过祭司。
34But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
35燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油，并燔祭同献的奠祭甚多。这样，耶和华殿中的事务俱都齐备了。
35Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the LORD’s house was set in order.
36这事办的甚速， 希西家 和众民都喜乐，是因 神为众民所预备的。
36Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
