1Louve ao SENHOR, minha alma! Tudo o que há em mim louve o seu santo nome!
1Bless the LORD , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2Louve ao SENHOR, minha alma, e não se esqueça de nenhum de seus benefícios,
2Bless the LORD , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3que perdoa todos os seus pecados, que cura todas as suas doenças,
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4que redime a sua vida da destruição, que coroa você com amor leal e ternas misericórdias,
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5que satisfaz o seu desejo com coisas boas, de modo que a sua juventude se renova como a da águia.
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6O SENHOR executa atos de justiça, e o direito para todos os que são oprimidos.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7Ele fez conhecer os seus caminhos a Moisés, os seus feitos aos filhos de Israel.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8O SENHOR é misericordioso e gracioso, lento para se irar e abundante em amor leal.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9Ele não acusará para sempre; nem ficará irado para sempre.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10Ele não nos tratou de acordo com os nossos pecados, nem nos retribuiu segundo as nossas iniquidades.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11Pois assim como os céus são altos acima da terra, assim é grande o seu amor leal para com os que o temem.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12Tão longe quanto o oriente está do ocidente, assim ele afastou de nós as nossas transgressões.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13Como um pai tem compaixão de seus filhos, assim o SENHOR tem compaixão dos que o temem.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14Pois ele sabe como somos formados. Ele se lembra de que somos pó.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15Quanto ao homem, os seus dias são como a relva. Como a flor do campo, assim ele floresce.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16Pois o vento passa por ela, e ela se vai. O seu lugar não se lembra mais dela.
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17Mas o amor leal do SENHOR é de eternidade a eternidade sobre os que o temem, e a sua justiça sobre os filhos dos filhos,
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
18para com os que guardam a sua aliança, para com os que se lembram de obedecer aos seus preceitos.
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19O SENHOR estabeleceu o seu trono nos céus. O seu reino domina sobre tudo.
19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20Louvem ao SENHOR, vocês, seus anjos, que são poderosos em força, que cumprem a sua palavra, obedecendo à voz da sua palavra.
20Bless the LORD , ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21Louvem ao SENHOR, todos os seus exércitos, vocês, seus servos, que fazem o que lhe agrada.
21Bless ye the LORD , all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22Louvem ao SENHOR, todas as suas obras, em todos os lugares do seu domínio. Louve ao SENHOR, minha alma!
22Bless the LORD , all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD , O my soul.
