Jó 25
Bíblia Portuguesa Mundial (Brazilian Portuguese)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Então Bildade, o suíta, respondeu:
1Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:
2“O domínio e o temor estão com ele. Ele estabelece a paz em suas alturas.
2Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.
3Podem os seus exércitos ser contados? Sobre quem não se levanta a sua luz?
3Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?
4Como, então, pode o homem ser justo diante de Deus? Ou como pode ser puro aquele que nasce de mulher?
4Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?
5Eis que nem mesmo a lua tem brilho, e as estrelas não são puras aos seus olhos;
5Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.
6quanto menos o homem, que é um verme, e o filho do homem, que é um verme!”
6How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?
