1JE men poeki re omail ri at akan iran atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj a pan kotin pwarado, o atail pan peukedalan i,
1Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers,
2Komail der wukiwuk jili o der wapon kida nen eu, de kajoi pot, de kijin likau, me dene kit kadar won komail, me dene ran en Kaun o mier.
2not to be easily disconcerted or alarmed by any spirit or message or letter seeming to be from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has already come.
3Jota amen en kotau komail la ni meakot. Pwe ran o jota pan pwarado, lao wiawia en maj more wei jan, o aramaj en dip janjal la, nain me jued.
3Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness—the son of destruction—is revealed.
4Me pan palian meakaroj o kajapwilada pein i, en ileila jan karoj, me udan Kot de men kaudok kan, A pan mondi nan tanpaj en Kot o mome on pein i Kot.
4He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
5Komail jota tamanda ni ai mimi re omail, i katiti on komail mepukat?
5Do you not remember that I told you these things while I was still with you?
6Ari met komail ajaer, me meakot mia, me kin kapwandela a pan pwarado.
6And you know what is now restraining him, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
7A rir en japun kan ap mur pwaida met. Ari jo, a mimieta me kin kapwandela, lao a pan poioki wei jan;
7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now restrains it will continue until he is taken out of the way.
8I anjau me likin kapun o pan janjaleda, me Kaun Iejuj pan kotin kame kila an en jilan i, o kawe kila linan en a pan pwarado.
8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival.
9I me pan pwara kido mana en Jatan, ianaki manaman o kilel akai o kapuriam ni likam kai.
9The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder,
10O ianaki widin en japun karoj on irail, me pan lokidokila, pwe re kan limpok on melel, pwe ren dorela.
10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.
11I me Kot kotin mueid on irail ni manaman jued eu men kapin ir ada, pwe ren kamelele likam.
11For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie,
12Pwe karoj pan pakadeikada me jo kamelele majan melel, a me mauki me japun.
12in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
13A mak eta, jen danke Kot anjau karoj pweki komail, ri ai kompok kan, o pwe jan nin tapi o Kot me kotin pila kidar komail on maur potopot ni jaraui la pan Nen o ni pojon melel o.
13But we should always thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning to be saved by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.
14Pwe on mepukat a kotin molipei komail er pan at ronamau, pwe komail en pwaij aneki linan en atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj.
14To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15Ari ri at akan, tenedi on o apwali padak, me komail padakkier, ma jan ni kajoi de at kijin likau.
15Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter.
16A pein atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj o Kot o Jam atail, me pok on kitail o kupura don kitail kamait joutuk o kapor mau pan mak,
16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who by grace has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope,
17I en kamaitala monion omail, o katini komail on ni wiawia mau karoj o padak.
17encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good word and deed.
