1Then Job answered and said:
1Na Job el topuk ac fahk,
2I have heard many such things; sorry comforters are ye all.
2“Nga lohng tari kain sramsram ingan meet; Ac kas in kasru lomtal ingan mwe na akkeok.
3Shall windy words have an end? Or what provoketh thee that thou answerest?
3Mea, komtal ac sramsram na nwe tok? Ya komtal lungse in komtal na pa aksafye sramsram uh pacl nukewa?
4I also could speak as ye do; if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could join words together against you, and shake my head at you.
4Funu komtal pa nga, ac nga pa komtal, Nga lukun ku pac in fahk ma nukewa komtal fahk ingan. Nga lukun usruk pac sifuk oana ngan pakomutomtal, Ac fahkot kas puspis in lain kowos.
5I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips would assuage your grief.
5Nga lukun akkeye komtal ke kas in kasru, Ac srumun pacna kutu kas saya in akwoye komtal.
6Though I speak, my pain is not assuaged; and though I forbear, what am I eased?
6“Tusruktu kas nga fahk uh tiana kasreyu, Ac nga fin mutana tia kas, ac tia pacna aksrikyela mwaiok luk uh.
7But now He hath made me weary; Thou hast made desolate all my company.
7O God, kom oru nga arulana foroti; Kom tuh lela sou luk in anwukla.
8And Thou hast shrivelled me up, which is a witness against me; and my leanness riseth up against me, it testifieth to my face.
8Kom kapriyuwi. Kom mwet lokoalok luk. Inge nga sri na kolo, Ac mwet uh pangon mu ma inge akpwayei lah oasr ma koluk luk.
9He hath torn me in His wrath, and hated me; He hath gnashed upon me with His teeth; mine adversary sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
9“In kasrkusrak lal, God El eya kupasr nukewa ke monuk, El foloyak ac suiyuwi.
10They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek scornfully; they gather themselves together against me.
10Mwet uh isrunyu; Elos kahkeni nu yuruk ac puok likintupuk.
11God delivereth me to the ungodly, and casteth me into the hands of the wicked.
11God El eisyuyang nu inpoun mwet koluk.
12I was at ease, and He broke me asunder; yea, He hath taken me by the neck, and dashed me to pieces; He hath also set me up for His mark.
12Nga tuh muta in misla, Na God El sruokya kwawuk; El puokyu nwe itungyuwi. El oreyu oana sie mwe lutlut pisr,
13His archers compass me round about, He cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; He poureth out my gall upon the ground.
13Ac pisrik sukan pisr nu keik liki acn nukewa — Sukan pisr inge fakisyu ac kanteyuwi; Ne ouinge, el tiana luman pakomutuk.
14He breaketh me with breach upon breach; He runneth upon me like a giant.
14El nuna fakisyu na Oana sie mwet mweun ma wella ke srunga lal uh.
15I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and have laid my horn in the dust.
15“Nga asor ac nokomang nuknuk yohk eoa, Ac nga pituki na muta infohk uh, lip na pwaye.
16My face is reddened with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
16Nga tung nwe srusrala atronmutuk, Ac kulun mutuk fafwak ac inken tungla.
17Although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure.
17Tusruktu nga tiana oru kutena ouiya sulallal, Ac nga pre nu sin God ke inse na pwaye.
18O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no resting-place.
18“O Faclu, nimet okanla ma koluk ma orek nu sik! Nimet tulokinya pang luk ke nga suk nununku suwohs!
19Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and He that testifieth of me is on high.
19Aok pwayena, oasr mwet se inkusrao Su ac fah tuyak wiyu lac, ac kasreyu.
20Mine inward thoughts are my intercessors, mine eye poureth out tears unto God;
20Mwet kawuk luk inge elos aksruksrukeyu; Ac sronin mutuk kahkla nu sin God.
21That He would set aright a man contending with God, as a son of man setteth aright his neighbour!
21Nga ke sie mwet ah in kwafe sin God keik, Oana ke sie mwet el kwafe ke mwet kawuk lal.
22For the years that are few are coming on, and I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
22Yac luk somsomlana, Ac nga fahsr ke soko inkanek ma nga tia ku in foloko we me.
