1Now there was a man of the hill-country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
1以法莲 山地有一个人名叫 米迦 。
2And he said unto his mother: 'The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it.' And his mother said: 'Blessed be my son of the LORD.'
2他对母亲说：「你那一千一百 舍客勒 银子被人拿去，你因此咒诅，并且告诉了我。看哪，这银子在我这里，是我拿去了。」他母亲说：「我儿啊，愿耶和华赐福与你！」
3And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, and his mother said: 'I verily dedicate the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; now therefore I will restore it unto thee.'
3米迦 就把这一千一百 舍客勒 银子还他母亲。他母亲说：「我分出这银子来为你献给耶和华，好雕刻一个像，铸成一个像。现在我还是交给你。」
4And when he restored the money unto his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image; and it was in the house of Micah.
4米迦 将银子还他母亲，他母亲将二百 舍客勒 银子交给银匠，雕刻一个像，铸成一个像，安置在 米迦 的屋内。
5And the man Micah had a house of God, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
5这 米迦 有了神堂，又制造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一个儿子作祭司。
6In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
6那时 以色列 中没有王，各人任意而行。
7And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem in Judah — in the family of Judah — who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
7犹大 的 伯利恒 有一个少年人，是 犹大 族的 利未 人，他在那里寄居。
8And the man departed out of the city, out of Beth-lehem in Judah, to sojourn where he could find a place; and he came to the hill-country of Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
8这人离开 犹大 的 伯利恒 城，要找一个可住的 地方 。行路的时候，到了 以法莲 山地，走到 米迦 的家。
9And Micah said unto him: 'Whence comest thou?' And he said unto him: 'I am a Levite of Beth-lehem in Judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.'
9米迦 问他说：「你从哪里来？」他回答说：「从 犹大 的 伯利恒 来。我是 利未 人，要找一个可住的 地方 。」
10And Micah said unto him: 'Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals.' So the Levite went in.
10米迦 说：「你可以住在我这里，我以你为父、为祭司。我每年给你十 舍客勒 银子，一套衣服和度日的食物。」 利未 人就进了他的家。
11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
11利未 人情愿与那人同住；那人看这少年人如自己的儿子一样。
12And Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
12米迦 分派这少年的 利未 人作祭司，他就住在 米迦 的家里。
13Then said Micah: 'Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite as my priest.'
13米迦 说：「现在我知道耶和华必赐福与我，因我有一个 利未 人作祭司。」
