1Now there was a man of the hill-country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
1以法蓮 山地有一個人名叫 米迦 。
2And he said unto his mother: 'The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it.' And his mother said: 'Blessed be my son of the LORD.'
2他對母親說：「你那一千一百 舍客勒 銀子被人拿去，你因此咒詛，並且告訴了我。看哪，這銀子在我這裏，是我拿去了。」他母親說：「我兒啊，願耶和華賜福與你！」
3And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, and his mother said: 'I verily dedicate the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; now therefore I will restore it unto thee.'
3米迦 就把這一千一百 舍客勒 銀子還他母親。他母親說：「我分出這銀子來為你獻給耶和華，好雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像。現在我還是交給你。」
4And when he restored the money unto his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image; and it was in the house of Micah.
4米迦 將銀子還他母親，他母親將二百 舍客勒 銀子交給銀匠，雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像，安置在 米迦 的屋內。
5And the man Micah had a house of God, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
5這 米迦 有了神堂，又製造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一個兒子作祭司。
6In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
6那時 以色列 中沒有王，各人任意而行。
7And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem in Judah — in the family of Judah — who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
7猶大 的 伯利恆 有一個少年人，是 猶大 族的 利未 人，他在那裏寄居。
8And the man departed out of the city, out of Beth-lehem in Judah, to sojourn where he could find a place; and he came to the hill-country of Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
8這人離開 猶大 的 伯利恆 城，要找一個可住的 地方 。行路的時候，到了 以法蓮 山地，走到 米迦 的家。
9And Micah said unto him: 'Whence comest thou?' And he said unto him: 'I am a Levite of Beth-lehem in Judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.'
9米迦 問他說：「你從哪裏來？」他回答說：「從 猶大 的 伯利恆 來。我是 利未 人，要找一個可住的 地方 。」
10And Micah said unto him: 'Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals.' So the Levite went in.
10米迦 說：「你可以住在我這裏，我以你為父、為祭司。我每年給你十 舍客勒 銀子，一套衣服和度日的食物。」 利未 人就進了他的家。
11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
11利未 人情願與那人同住；那人看這少年人如自己的兒子一樣。
12And Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
12米迦 分派這少年的 利未 人作祭司，他就住在 米迦 的家裏。
13Then said Micah: 'Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite as my priest.'
13米迦 說：「現在我知道耶和華必賜福與我，因我有一個 利未 人作祭司。」
