1And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
1以笏 死後， 以色列 人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，
2And the LORD gave them over into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth-goiim.
2耶和華就把他們付與在 夏瑣 作王的 迦南 王 耶賓 手中；他的將軍是 西西拉 ，住在外邦人的 夏羅設 。
3And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
3耶賓 王有鐵車九百輛。他大大欺壓 以色列 人二十年， 以色列 人就呼求耶和華。
4Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
4有一位女先知名叫 底波拉 ，是 拉比多 的妻，當時作 以色列 的士師。
5And she sat under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
5她住在 以法蓮 山地 拉瑪 和 伯特利 中間，在 底波拉 的棕樹下。 以色列 人都上她那裏去聽判斷。
6And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him: 'Hath not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, saying: Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
6她打發人從 拿弗他利 的 基低斯 將 亞比挪菴 的兒子 巴拉 召了來，對他說：「耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝吩咐你說：『你率領一萬 拿弗他利 和 西布倫 人上 他泊山 去。
7And I will draw unto thee to the brook Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.
7我必使 耶賓 的將軍 西西拉 率領他的車輛和全軍往 基順河 ，到你那裏去；我必將他交在你手中。』」
8And Barak said unto her: 'If thou wilt go with me, then I will go; but if thou wilt not go with me, I will not go.'
8巴拉 說：「你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。」
9And she said: 'I will surely go with thee; notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thy honour; for the LORD will give Sisera over into the hand of a woman.' And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
9底波拉 說：「我必與你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不着榮耀，因為耶和華要將 西西拉 交在一個婦人手裏。」於是 底波拉 起來，與 巴拉 一同往 基低斯 去了。
10And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet; and Deborah went up with him.
10巴拉 就招聚 西布倫 人和 拿弗他利 人到 基低斯 ，跟他上去的有一萬人。 底波拉 也同他上去。
11Now Heber the Kenite had severed himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as Elon-bezaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
11摩西 岳父 何巴 的後裔， 基尼 人 希百 曾離開 基尼 族，到靠近 基低斯 、 撒拿音 的橡樹旁支搭帳棚。
12And they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
12有人告訴 西西拉 說：「 亞比挪菴 的兒子 巴拉 已經上 他泊山 了。」
13And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth-goiim, unto the brook Kishon.
13西西拉 就聚集所有的鐵車九百輛和跟隨他的全軍，從外邦人的 夏羅設 出來，到了 基順河 。
14And Deborah said unto Barak: 'Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thy hand; is not the LORD gone out before thee?' So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
14底波拉 對 巴拉 說：「你起來，今日就是耶和華將 西西拉 交在你手的日子。耶和華豈不在你前頭行嗎？」於是 巴拉 下了 他泊山 ，跟隨他有一萬人。
15And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
15耶和華使 西西拉 和他一切車輛全軍潰亂，在 巴拉 面前被刀殺敗； 西西拉 下車步行逃跑。
16But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth-goiim; and all the host of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; there was not a man left.
16巴拉 追趕車輛、軍隊，直到外邦人的 夏羅設 。 西西拉 的全軍都倒在刀下，沒有留下一人。
17Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
17只有 西西拉 步行逃跑，到了 基尼 人 希百 之妻 雅億 的帳棚，因為 夏瑣 王 耶賓 與 基尼 人 希百 家和好。
18And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him: 'Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not.' And he turned in unto her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.
18雅億 出來迎接 西西拉 ，對他說：「請我主進來，不要懼怕」； 西西拉 就進了她的帳棚。 雅億 用被將他遮蓋。
19And he said unto her: 'Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.' And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
19西西拉 對 雅億 說：「我渴了，求你給我一點水喝。」 雅億 就打開皮袋，給他奶子喝，仍舊把他遮蓋。
20And he said unto her: 'Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say: Is there any man here? that thou shalt say: No.'
20西西拉 又對 雅億 說：「請你站在帳棚門口，若有人來問你說：『有人在這裏沒有？』你就說：『沒有。』」
21Then Jael Heber's wife took a tent-pin, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground; for he was in a deep sleep; so he swooned and died.
21西西拉 疲乏沉睡。 希百 的妻 雅億 取了帳棚的橛子，手裏拿着錘子，輕悄悄地到他旁邊，將橛子從他鬢邊釘進去，釘入地裏。 西西拉 就死了。
22And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him: 'Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest.' And he came unto her; and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples.
22巴拉 追趕 西西拉 的時候， 雅億 出來迎接他說：「來吧，我將你所尋找的人給你看。」他就進入帳棚，看見 西西拉 已經死了，倒在地上，橛子還在他鬢中。
23So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
23這樣，上帝使 迦南 王 耶賓 被 以色列 人制伏了。
24And the hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
24從此 以色列 人的手越發有力，勝了 迦南 王 耶賓 ，直到將他滅絕了。
