1And it came to pass after these things, that God did prove Abraham, and said unto him: 'Abraham'; and he said: 'Here am I.'
1这些事以后， 神要试验 亚伯拉罕 ，就呼叫他说：「 亚伯拉罕 ！」他说：「我在这里。」
2And He said: 'Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.'
2神说：「你带着你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，你所爱的 以撒 ，往 摩利亚 地去，在我所要指示你的山上，把他献为燔祭。」
3And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he cleaved the wood for the burnt-offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
3亚伯拉罕 清早起来，备上驴，带着两个仆人和他儿子 以撒 ，也劈好了燔祭的柴，就起身往 神所指示他的地方去了。
4On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
4到了第三日， 亚伯拉罕 举目远远地看见那地方。
5And Abraham said unto his young men: 'Abide ye here with the ass, and I and the lad will go yonder; and we will worship, and come back to you.'
5亚伯拉罕 对他的仆人说：「你们和驴在此等候，我与童子往那里去拜一拜，就回到你们这里来。」
6And Abraham took the wood of the burnt-offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took in his hand the fire and the knife; and they went both of them together.
6亚伯拉罕 把燔祭的柴放在他儿子 以撒 身上，自己手里拿着火与刀；于是二人同行。
7And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said: 'My father.' And he said: 'Here am I, my son.' And he said: 'Behold the fire and the wood; but where is the lamb for a burnt-offering?'
7以撒 对他父亲 亚伯拉罕 说：「父亲哪！」 亚伯拉罕 说：「我儿，我在这里。」 以撒 说：「请看，火与柴都有了，但燔祭的羊羔在哪里呢？」
8And Abraham said: 'God will provide Himself the lamb for a burnt-offering, my son.' So they went both of them together.
8亚伯拉罕 说：「我儿， 神必自己预备作燔祭的羊羔。」于是二人同行。
9And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.
9他们到了 神所指示的地方， 亚伯拉罕 在那里筑坛，把柴摆好，捆绑他的儿子 以撒 ，放在坛的柴上。
10And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
10亚伯拉罕 就伸手拿刀，要杀他的儿子。
11And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said: 'Abraham, Abraham.' And he said: 'Here am I.'
11耶和华的使者从天上呼叫他说：「 亚伯拉罕 ！ 亚伯拉罕 ！」他说：「我在这里。」
12And he said: 'Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him; for now I know that thou art a God-fearing man, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from Me.'
12天使说：「你不可在这童子身上下手。一点不可害他！现在我知道你是敬畏 神的了；因为你没有将你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，留下不给我。」
13And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son.
13亚伯拉罕 举目观看，不料，有一只公羊，两角扣在稠密的小树中， 亚伯拉罕 就取了那只公羊来，献为燔祭，代替他的儿子。
14And Abraham called the name of that place Adonai-jireh; as it is said to this day: 'In the mount where the LORD is seen.'
14亚伯拉罕 给那地方起名叫「耶和华以勒」，直到今日人还说：「在耶和华的山上必有预备。」
15And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven,
15耶和华的使者第二次从天上呼叫 亚伯拉罕 说：
16and said: 'By Myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son,
16「耶和华说：『你既行了这事，不留下你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，我便指着自己起誓说：
17that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
17论福，我必赐大福给你；论子孙，我必叫你的子孙多起来，如同天上的星，海边的沙。你子孙必得着仇敌的城门，
18and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast hearkened to My voice.'
18并且地上万国都必因你的后裔得福，因为你听从了我的话。』」
19So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.
19于是 亚伯拉罕 回到他仆人那里，他们一同起身往 别是巴 去， 亚伯拉罕 就住在 别是巴 。
20And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying: 'Behold, Milcah, she also hath borne children unto thy brother Nahor:
20这事以后，有人告诉 亚伯拉罕 说：「 密迦 给你兄弟 拿鹤 生了几个儿子，
21Uz his first-born, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram;
21长子是 乌斯 ，他的兄弟是 布斯 和 亚兰 的父亲 基母利 ，
22and Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.'
22并 基薛 、 哈琐 、 必达 、 益拉 、 彼土利 （ 彼土利 生 利百加 ）。」
23And Bethuel begot Rebekah; these eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
23这八个人都是 密迦 给 亚伯拉罕 的兄弟 拿鹤 生的。
24And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she also bore Tebah, and Gaham, and Tahash, and Maacah.
24拿鹤 的妾名叫 流玛 ，生了 提八 、 迦含 、 他辖 ，和 玛迦 。
