1Ἀλληλούϊα· Ἀγγαίου καὶ Ζαχαρίου. ΕΠΑΙΝΕΙ, Ἱερουσαλήμ, τὸν Κύριον, αἴνει τὸν Θεόν σου, Σιών,
1Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and lovely to praise Him!
2ὅτι ἐνίσχυσε τοὺς μοχλοὺς τῶν πυλῶν σου, εὐλόγησε τοὺς υἱούς σου ἐν σοί·
2The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the exiles of Israel.
3ὁ τιθεὶς τὰ ὅριά σου εἰρήνην καὶ στέαρ πυροῦ ἐμπιπλῶν σε·
3He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
4ὁ ἀποστέλλων τὸ λόγιον αὐτοῦ τῇ γῇ, ἕως τάχους δραμεῖται ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ·
4He determines the number of the stars; He calls them each by name.
5διδόντος χιόνα αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ ἔριον, ὁμίχλην ὡσεὶ σποδὸν πάσσοντος·
5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.
6βάλλοντος κρύσταλλον αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ ψωμούς, κατὰ πρόσωπον ψύχους αὐτοῦ τίς ὑποστήσεται;
6The LORD sustains the humble, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7ἐξαποστελεῖ τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ καὶ τήξει αὐτά· πνεύσει τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ρυήσεται ὕδατα.
7Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music on the harp to our God,
8ὁ ἀπαγγέλλων τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἰακώβ, δικαιώματα καὶ κρίματα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἰσραήλ.
8who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the hills.
9οὐκ ἐποίησεν οὕτως παντὶ ἔθνει καὶ τὰ κρίματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐδήλωσεν αὐτοῖς.
9He provides food for the animals, and for the young ravens when they call.

10He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legpower of the man.

11The LORD is pleased with those who fear Him, who hope in His loving devotion.
