1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write: These things saith he, who holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
1“จงเขียนถึงทูตของประชาคมในเอเฟซัสว่า “ผู้ที่ถือดาวเจ็ดดวงไว้ในมือขวา และเดินอยู่ท่ามกลางเชิงตะเกียงทองคำทั้งเจ็ด กล่าวดังนี้
2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil, and thou hast tried them, who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
2“เรารู้สิ่งที่คุณทำ รู้ความเหน็ดเหนื่อยและความอดทนของคุณ รู้ว่าคุณทนคนชั่วไม่ได้ คุณได้ทดสอบคนที่เรียกตัวเองว่าอัครทูตทั้งที่ไม่ใช่ และพบว่าพวกเขาไม่ใช่อย่างที่อ้าง
3And thou hast patience, and hast endured for my name, and hast not fainted.

4But I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first charity.
4แต่เรามีข้อตำหนิคุณ คือคุณละทิ้งความรักที่คุณมีในตอนแรก
5Be mindful therefore from whence thou art fallen: and do penance, and do the first works. Or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou do penance.
5เพราะฉะนั้น จงระลึกว่าคุณตกลงมาจากที่ไหน จงกลับใจ และกลับไปทำสิ่งที่คุณทำในตอนแรก ไม่เช่นนั้น เราจะมาหาคุณโดยเร็ว และย้ายเชิงตะเกียงของคุณออกจากที่เดิม ถ้าคุณไม่กลับใจ
6But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaites, which I also hate.
6แต่คุณมีสิ่งนี้ คือคุณเกลียดการกระทำของพวกนิโคเลอิตัน ซึ่งเราก็เกลียด
7He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.
7ใครมีหู ก็จงฟังสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณกล่าวแก่บรรดาประชาคม ผู้ที่ชนะ เราจะให้เขาได้กินจากต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ซึ่งอยู่ในอุทยานแห่งพระเจ้าของเรา
8And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive:
8“จงเขียนถึงทูตของประชาคมในสเมอร์นาว่า “ผู้แรกและผู้สุดท้าย ผู้ที่เคยตายและกลับมีชีวิตขึ้นมา กล่าวดังนี้
9I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
9“เรารู้สิ่งที่คุณทำ รู้ความทุกข์ยากและความยากจนของคุณ (แต่คุณมั่งมี) และรู้คำหมิ่นประมาทจากคนที่บอกว่าตัวเองเป็นชาวยิวทั้งที่ไม่ใช่ แต่เป็นธรรมศาลาของซาตาน
10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.
10อย่ากลัวสิ่งที่คุณกำลังจะทนทุกข์ ดูสิ มารกำลังจะโยนพวกคุณบางคนเข้าคุก เพื่อให้พวกคุณถูกทดสอบ และพวกคุณจะมีความทุกข์ยากสิบวัน จงซื่อสัตย์จนถึงตาย แล้วเราจะให้มงกุฎแห่งชีวิตแก่คุณ
11He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome, shall not be hurt by the second death.
11ใครมีหู ก็จงฟังสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณกล่าวแก่บรรดาประชาคม ผู้ที่ชนะ ความตายครั้งที่สองจะทำอันตรายเขาไม่ได้
12And to the angel of the church of Pergamus write: These things, saith he, that hath the sharp two edged sword:
12“จงเขียนถึงทูตของประชาคมในเปอร์กามัมว่า “ผู้ที่มีดาบคมสองด้าน กล่าวดังนี้
13I know where thou dwellest, where the seat of Satan is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith. Even in those days when Antipas was my faithful witness, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
13“เรารู้สิ่งที่คุณทำ และรู้ว่าคุณอาศัยอยู่ที่ไหน คือที่ซึ่งบัลลังก์ของซาตานตั้งอยู่ คุณยึดชื่อของเราไว้มั่น และไม่ปฏิเสธความเชื่อของเรา แม้ในสมัยของอันทิพาส พยานของเรา ผู้ซื่อสัตย์ต่อเรา ซึ่งถูกฆ่าในหมู่พวกคุณ ที่ซึ่งซาตานอาศัยอยู่
14But I have against thee a few things: because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat, and to commit fornication:
14แต่เรามีข้อตำหนิคุณอยู่สองสามอย่าง เพราะในหมู่พวกคุณมีบางคนที่ยึดคำสอนของบาลาอัม ผู้สอนบาลาคให้วางสิ่งที่ทำให้ลูกหลานอิสราเอลสะดุด คือให้กินของที่ถวายแก่รูปเคารพ และทำผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศ
15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaites.
15เช่นเดียวกัน คุณก็มีบางคนที่ยึดคำสอนของพวกนิโคเลอิตัน
16In like manner do penance: if not, I will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
16ดังนั้น จงกลับใจ ไม่เช่นนั้น เราจะมาหาคุณโดยเร็ว และทำสงครามกับพวกเขาด้วยดาบจากปากของเรา
17He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh, I will give the hidden manna, and will give him a white counter, and in the counter, a new name written, which no man knoweth, but he that receiveth it.
17ใครมีหู ก็จงฟังสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณกล่าวแก่บรรดาประชาคม ผู้ที่ชนะ เราจะให้มานาที่ซ่อนไว้แก่เขา และเราจะให้ก้อนหินสีขาวแก่เขา บนก้อนหินนั้นมีชื่อใหม่เขียนอยู่ ซึ่งไม่มีใครรู้นอกจากคนที่ได้รับก้อนหินนั้น
18And to the angel of the church of Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet like to fine brass.
18“จงเขียนถึงทูตของประชาคมในธิยาทิราว่า “พระบุตรของพระเจ้า ผู้ที่มีดวงตาเหมือนเปลวไฟ และมีเท้าเหมือนทองเหลืองขัดเงา กล่าวดังนี้
19I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.
19“เรารู้สิ่งที่คุณทำ รู้ความรัก ความเชื่อ การรับใช้ และความอดทนของคุณ และรู้ว่าสิ่งที่คุณทำในตอนหลังมีมากกว่าในตอนแรก
20But I have against thee a few things: because thou sufferest the woman Jezabel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach, and to seduce my servants, to commit fornication, and to eat of things sacrificed to idols.
20แต่เรามีข้อตำหนิคุณ คือคุณยอมให้หญิงของคุณ ที่ชื่อเยเซเบล ผู้เรียกตัวเองว่าเป็นผู้เผยคำพยากรณ์ เธอสอนและชักจูงผู้รับใช้ของเราให้หลงไปทำผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศ และกินของที่ถวายแก่รูปเคารพ
21And I gave her a time that she might do penance, and she will not repent of her fornication.
21เราให้เวลาเธอกลับใจ แต่เธอไม่ยอมกลับใจจากการผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศของเธอ
22Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds.
22ดูสิ เราจะโยนเธอกับคนที่ล่วงประเวณีกับเธอลงบนเตียงแห่งความทุกข์ยากอย่างหนัก ถ้าพวกเขาไม่กลับใจจากการกระทำของเธอ
23And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say,
23เราจะฆ่าลูก ๆ ของเธอด้วยความตาย แล้วประชาคมทุกแห่งจะรู้ว่า เราคือผู้ตรวจดูความคิดและใจ และเราจะให้แก่พวกคุณแต่ละคนตามสิ่งที่แต่ละคนทำ
24And to the rest who are at Thyatira: Whosoever have not this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will not put upon you any other burthen.
24แต่เราขอบอกพวกคุณที่เหลือในธิยาทิรา คือทุกคนที่ไม่มีคำสอนนี้ และไม่รู้จักสิ่งที่บางคนเรียกว่า “เรื่องลึกของซาตาน” เราจะไม่วางภาระอื่นใดบนพวกคุณ
25Yet that, which you have, hold fast till I come.
25เพียงแต่จงยึดสิ่งที่พวกคุณมีไว้ให้มั่นจนกว่าเราจะมา
26And he that shall overcome, and keep my works unto the end, I will give him power over the nations.
26ผู้ที่ชนะ และยึดมั่นในสิ่งที่เราทำจนถึงที่สุด เราจะให้อำนาจเหนือบรรดาชนชาติแก่เขา
27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,
27เขาจะปกครองพวกเขาด้วยคทาเหล็ก และทำให้พวกเขาแตกเหมือนหม้อดิน ตามที่เราเองก็ได้รับจากพระบิดาของเรา
28As I also have received of my Father: and I will give him the morning star.
28และเราจะให้ดาวรุ่งแก่เขา
29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
29ใครมีหู ก็จงฟังสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณกล่าวแก่บรรดาประชาคม
