1And when they drew nigh to Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto mount Olivet, then Jesus sent two disciples,
1耶穌和門徒將近 耶路撒冷 ，到了 伯法其 ，在 橄欖山 那裏。
2Saying to them: Go ye into the village that is over against you, and immediately you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them and bring them to me.
2耶穌就打發兩個門徒，對他們說：「你們往對面村子裏去，必看見一匹驢拴在那裏，還有驢駒同在一處；你們解開，牽到我這裏來。
3And if any man shall say anything to you, say ye, that the Lord hath need of them: and forthwith he will let them go.
3若有人對你們說甚麼，你們就說：『主要用牠。』那人必立時讓你們牽來。
4Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
4這事成就是要應驗先知的話，說：
5Tell ye the daughter of Sion: Behold thy king cometh to thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of her that is used to the yoke.
5要對 錫安 的居民說： 看哪，你的王來到你這裏， 是溫柔的，又騎着驢， 就是騎着驢駒子。」
6And the disciples going, did as Jesus commanded them.
6門徒就照耶穌所吩咐的去行，
7And they brought the ass and the colt, and laid their garments upon them, and made him sit thereon.
7牽了驢和驢駒來，把自己的衣服搭在上面，耶穌就騎上。
8And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way: and others cut boughs from the trees, and strewed them in the way:
8眾人多半把衣服鋪在路上；還有人砍下樹枝來鋪在路上。
9And the multitudes that went before and that followed, cried, saying: Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
9前行後隨的眾人喊着說： 和散那歸於 大衛 的子孫！ 奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！ 高高在上和散那！
10And when he was come into Jerusalem, the whole city was moved, saying: Who is this?
10耶穌既進了 耶路撒冷 ，合城都驚動了，說：「這是誰？」
11And the people said: This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth of Galilee.
11眾人說：「這是 加利利 拿撒勒 的先知耶穌。」
12And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the chairs of them that sold doves:
12耶穌進了上帝的殿，趕出殿裏一切做買賣的人，推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子，和賣鴿子之人的凳子，
13And he saith to them: It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves.
13對他們說：「 經上 記着說： 我的殿必稱為禱告的殿， 你們倒使它成為賊窩了。」
14And there came to him the blind and the lame in the temple; and he healed them.
14在殿裏有瞎子、瘸子到耶穌跟前，他就治好了他們。
15And the chief priests and scribes, seeing the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying: Hosanna to the son of David; were moved with indignation.
15祭司長和文士看見耶穌所行的奇事，又見小孩子在殿裏喊着說：「和散那歸於 大衛 的子孫！」就甚惱怒，
16And said to him: Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus said to them: Yea, have you never read: Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
16對他說：「這些人所說的，你聽見了嗎？」耶穌說：「是的。 經上 說『你從嬰孩和吃奶的口中完全了讚美』的話，你們沒有念過嗎？」
17And leaving them, he went out of the city into Bethania, and remained there.
17於是離開他們，出城到 伯大尼 去，在那裏住宿。
18And in the morning, returning into the city, he was hungry.
18早晨回城的時候，他餓了，
19And seeing a certain fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only, and he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.
19看見路旁有一棵無花果樹，就走到跟前，在樹上找不着甚麼，不過有葉子，就對樹說：「從今以後，你永不結果子。」那無花果樹就立刻枯乾了。
20And the disciples seeing it wondered, saying: How is it presently withered away?
20門徒看見了，便希奇說：「無花果樹怎麼立刻枯乾了呢？」
21And Jesus answering, said to them: Amen, I say to you, if you shall have faith, and stagger not, not only this of the fig tree shall you do, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Take up and cast thyself into the sea, it shall be done.
21耶穌回答說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行無花果樹上所行的事，就是對這座山說：『你挪開此地，投在海裏！』也必成就。
22And in all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
22你們禱告，無論求甚麼，只要信，就必得着。」
23And when he was come into the temple, there came to him, as he was teaching, the chief priests and ancients of the people, saying: By what authority dost thou these things? and who hath given thee this authority?
23耶穌進了殿，正教訓人的時候，祭司長和民間的長老來問他說：「你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」
24Jesus answering, said to them: I also will ask you one word, which if you shall tell me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.
24耶穌回答說：「我也要問你們一句話，你們若告訴我，我就告訴你們我仗着甚麼權柄做這些事。
25The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven or from men? But they thought within themselves, saying:
25約翰 的洗禮是從哪裏來的？是從天上來的？是從人間來的呢？」他們彼此商議說：「我們若說『從天上來』，他必對我們說：『這樣，你們為甚麼不信他呢？』
26If we shall say, from heaven, he will say to us: Why then did you not believe him? But if we shall say, from men, we are afraid of the multitude: for all held John as a prophet.
26若說『從人間來』，我們又怕百姓，因為他們都以 約翰 為先知。」
27And answering Jesus, they said: We know not. He also said to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
27於是回答耶穌說：「我們不知道。」耶穌說：「我也不告訴你們我仗着甚麼權柄做這些事。」
28But what think you? A certain man had two sons; and coming to the first, he said: Son, go work today in my vineyard.
28又說：「一個人有兩個兒子。他來對大兒子說：『我兒，你今天到葡萄園裏去做工。』
29And he answering, said: I will not. But afterwards, being moved with repentance, he went.
29他回答說：『我不去』，以後自己懊悔，就去了。
30And coming to the other, he said in like manner. And he answering, said: I go, Sir; and he went not.
30又來對小兒子也是這樣說。他回答說：『父啊，我去』，他卻不去。
31Which of the two did the father’s will? They say to him: The first. Jesus saith to them: Amen I say to you, that the publicans and the harlots shall go into the kingdom of God before you.
31你們想，這兩個兒子是哪一個遵行父命呢？」他們說：「大兒子。」耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，稅吏和娼妓倒比你們先進上帝的國。
32For John came to you in the way of justice, and you did not believe him. But the publicans and the harlots believed him: but you, seeing it, did not even afterwards repent, that you might believe him.
32因為 約翰 遵着義路到你們這裏來，你們卻不信他；稅吏和娼妓倒信他。你們看見了，後來還是不懊悔去信他。」
33Hear ye another parable. There was a man an householder, who planted a vineyard, and made a hedge round about it, and dug in it a press, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen; and went into a strange country.
33「你們再聽一個比喻：有個家主栽了一個葡萄園，周圍圈上籬笆，裏面挖了一個壓酒池，蓋了一座樓，租給園戶，就往外國去了。
34And when the time of the fruits drew nigh, he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits thereof.
34收果子的時候近了，就打發僕人到園戶那裏去收果子。
35And the husbandmen laying hands on his servants, beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
35園戶拿住僕人，打了一個，殺了一個，用石頭打死一個。
36Again he sent other servants more than the former; and they did to them in like manner.
36主人又打發別的僕人去，比先前更多；園戶還是照樣待他們。
37And last of all he sent to them his son, saying: They will reverence my son.
37後來打發他的兒子到他們那裏去， 意思 說：『他們必尊敬我的兒子。』
38But the husbandmen seeing the son, said among themselves: This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and we shall have his inheritance.
38不料，園戶看見他兒子，就彼此說：『這是承受產業的。來吧，我們殺他，佔他的產業！』
39And taking him, they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him.
39他們就拿住他，推出葡萄園外，殺了。
40When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do to those husbandmen?
40園主來的時候要怎樣處治這些園戶呢？」
41They say to him: He will bring those evil men to an evil end; and will let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, that shall render him the fruit in due season.
41他們說：「要下毒手除滅那些惡人，將葡萄園另租給那按着時候交果子的園戶。」
42Jesus saith to them: Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? By the Lord this has been done; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
42耶穌說：「 經上寫着 ： 匠人所棄的石頭 已作了房角的頭塊石頭。 這是主所做的， 在我們眼中看為希奇。 這經你們沒有念過嗎？
43Therefore I say to you, that the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and shall be given to a nation yielding the fruits thereof.
43所以我告訴你們，上帝的國必從你們奪去，賜給那能結果子的百姓。
44And whosoever shall fall on this stone, shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it shall grind him to powder.
44誰掉在這石頭上，必要跌碎；這石頭掉在誰的身上，就要把誰砸得稀爛。」
45And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they knew that he spoke of them.
45祭司長和法利賽人聽見他的比喻，就看出他是指着他們說的。
46And seeking to lay hands on him, they feared the multitudes: because they held him as a prophet.
46他們想要捉拿他，只是怕眾人，因為眾人以他為先知。
