1These are the kings, whom the children of Israel slew and possessed their land beyond the Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the east country that looketh towards the wilderness.
1Dies sind die Könige des Landes, die die Kinder Israel schlugen und nahmen ihr Land ein jenseit des Jordans gegen der Sonne Aufgang von dem Bach Arnon an bis an den Berg Hermon und das ganze Gefilde gegen Morgen:
2Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and had dominion from Aroer, which is seated upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, and of the middle part in the valley, and of half Galaad, as far as the torrent Jaboc, which is the border of the children of Ammon.
2Sihon, der König der Amoriter, der zu Hesbon wohnte und herrschte von Aroer an, das am Ufer liegt des Bachs Arnon, und von der Mitte des Tals an und über das halbe Gilead bis an den Bach Jabbok, der die Grenze ist der Kinder Ammon,
3And from the wilderness, to the sea of Ceneroth towards the east, and to the sea of the wilderness, which is the most salt sea, on the east side by the way that leadeth to Bethsimoth: and on the south side that lieth under Asedoth, Phasga.
3und über das Gefilde bis an das Meer Kinneroth gegen Morgen und bis an das Meer im Gefilde, nämlich das Salzmeer, gegen Morgen, des Weges gen Beth-Jesimoth, und gegen Mittag unten an den Abhängen des Gebirges Pisga.
4The border of Og the king of Basan, of the remnant of the Raphaims who dwelt in Astaroth, and in Edrai, and had dominion in mount Hermon, and in Salecha, and in all Basan, unto the borders
4Dazu das Gebiet des Königs Og von Basan, der noch von den Riesen übrig war und wohnte zu Astharoth und Edrei
5Of Gessuri and Machati, and of half Galaad: the borders of Sehon the king of Hesebon.
5und herrschte über den Berg Hermon, über Salcha und über ganz Basan bis an die Grenze der Gessuriter und Maachathiter und über das halbe Gilead, da die Grenze war Sihons, des Königs zu Hesbon.
6Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.
6Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, und die Kinder Israel schlugen sie. Und Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, gab ihr Land einzunehmen den Rubenitern, Gaditer und dem halben Stamm Manasse.
7These are the kings of the land, whom Josue and the children of Israel slew beyond the Jordan on the west side from Baalgad in the held of Libanus, unto the mount, part of which goeth up into Seir: and Josue delivered it in possession to the tribes of Israel, to every one their divisions,
7Dies sind die Könige des Landes, die Josua schlug und die Kinder Israel, diesseit des Jordans gegen Abend, von Baal-Gad an auf der Ebene beim Berge Libanon bis an das kahle Gebirge, das aufsteigt gen Seir (und Josua gab das Land den Stämmen Israels einzunehmen, einem jeglichen sein Teil,
8As well in the mountains as in the plains and the champaign countries. In Asedoth, and in the wilderness, and in the south was the Hethite and the Amorrhite, the Chanaanite and the Pherezite, the Hevite and the Jebusite.
