1These things have I spoken to you, that you may not be scandalized.
1Сие сказал Я вам, чтобы вы не соблазнились.
2They will put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth a service to God.
2Изгонят вас из синагог; даже наступает время, когда всякий, убивающий вас, будет думать, что он тем служит Богу.
3And these things will they do to you; because they have not known the Father, nor me.
3Так будут поступать, потому что не познали ни Отца, ни Меня.
4But these things I have told you, that when the hour shall come, you may remember that I told you of them.
4Но Я сказал вам сие для того, чтобы вы, когда придет то время, вспомнили, что Я сказывал вам о том; не говорил же сего вам сначала, потому что был с вами.
5But I told you not these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me: Whither goest thou?
5А теперь иду к Пославшему Меня, и никто из вас не спрашивает Меня: куда идешь?
6But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
6Но оттого, что Я сказал вам это, печалью исполнилось сердце ваше.
7But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
7Но Я истину говорю вам: лучше для вас, чтобы Я пошел; ибо, если Я не пойду, Утешитель не приидет к вам; а если пойду, то пошлю Его к вам,
8And when he is come, he will convince the world of sin, and of justice, and of judgment.
8и Он, придя, обличит мир о грехе, и о правде, и о суде:
9Of sin: because they believed not in me.
9о грехе, что не веруют в Меня;
10And of justice: because I go to the Father; and you shall see me no longer.
10о правде, что Я иду к Отцу Моему и уже не увидите Меня;
11And of judgment: because the prince of this world is already judged.
11о суде же, что князь мира сего осужден.
12I have yet many things to say to you: but you cannot bear them now.
12Еще многое имею сказать вам; но вы теперь не можете вместить.
13But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will teach you all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but what things soever he shall hear, he shall speak; and the things that are to come, he shall shew you.
13Когда же приидет Он, Дух истины, то наставит вас на всякую истину: ибо не от Себя говорить будет, но будет говорить, что услышит, и будущее возвестит вам.
14He shall glorify me; because he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it to you.
14Он прославит Меня, потому что от Моего возьмет и возвестит вам.
15All things whatsoever the Father hath, are mine. Therefore I said, that he shall receive of mine, and shew it to you.
15Все, что имеет Отец, есть Мое; потому Я сказал, что от Моего возьмет и возвестит вам.
16A little while, and now you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me: because I go to the Father.
16Вскоре вы не увидите Меня, и опять вскоре увидите Меня, ибо Я иду к Отцу.
17Then some of the disciples said one to another: What is this that he saith to us: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me, and, because I go to the Father?
17Тут некоторые из учеников Его сказали один другому: что это Он говорит нам: вскоре не увидите Меня, и опять вскоре увидите Меня, и: Я иду к Отцу?
18They said therefore: What is this that he saith, A little while? we know not what he speaketh.
18Итак они говорили: что это говорит Он: “вскоре”? Не знаем, что говорит.
19And Jesus knew that they had a mind to ask him; and he said to them: Of this do you inquire among yourselves, because I said: A little while, and you shall not see me; and again a little while, and you shall see me?
19Иисус, уразумев, что хотят спросить Его, сказал им: о том ли спрашиваете вы один другого, что Я сказал: вскоре не увидите Меня, и опять вскоре увидите Меня?
20Amen, amen I say to you, that you shall lament and weep, but the world shall rejoice; and you shall be made sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
20Истинно, истинно говорю вам: вы восплачете и возрыдаете, а мир возрадуется; вы печальны будете, но печаль ваша в радость будет.
21A woman, when she is in labour, hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but when she hath brought forth the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
21Женщина, когда рождает, терпит скорбь, потому что пришел час ее; но когда родит младенца, уже не помнит скорби от радости, потому что родился человек в мир.
22So also you now indeed have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice; and your joy no man shall take from you.
22Так и вы теперь имеете печаль; но Я увижу вас опять, и возрадуется сердце ваше, и радости вашей никто не отнимет у вас;
23And in that day you shall not ask me any thing. Amen, amen I say to you: if you ask the Father any thing in my name, he will give it you.
23и в тот день вы не спросите Меня ни о чем. Истинно, истинно говорю вам: о чем ни попросите Отца во имя Мое, даст вам.
24Hitherto you have not asked any thing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full.
24Доныне вы ничего не просили во имя Мое; просите, и получите, чтобы радость ваша была совершенна.
25These things I have spoken to you in proverbs. The hour cometh, when I will no more speak to you in proverbs, but will shew you plainly of the Father.
25Доселе Я говорил вам притчами; но наступает время, когда уже не буду говорить вам притчами, но прямо возвещу вам об Отце.
26In that day you shall ask in my name; and I say not to you, that I will ask the Father for you:
26В тот день будете просить во имя Мое, и не говорю вам, что Я буду просить Отца о вас:
27For the Father himself loveth you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
27ибо Сам Отец любит вас, потому что вы возлюбили Меня и уверовали, что Я исшел от Бога.
28I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father.
28Я исшел от Отца и пришел в мир; и опять оставляю мир и иду к Отцу.
29His disciples say to him: Behold, now thou speakest plainly, and speakest no proverb.
29Ученики Его сказали Ему: вот, теперь Ты прямо говоришь, и притчи не говоришь никакой.
30Now we know that thou knowest all things, and thou needest not that any man should ask thee. By this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
30Теперь видим, что Ты знаешь все и не имеешь нужды, чтобы кто спрашивал Тебя. Посему веруем, что Ты от Бога исшел.
31Jesus answered them: Do you now believe?
31Иисус отвечал им: теперь веруете?
32Behold, the hour cometh, and it is now come, that you shall be scattered every man to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
32Вот, наступает час, и настал уже, что вы рассеетесь каждый в свою сторону и Меня оставите одного; но Я не один, потому что Отец со Мною.
33These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.
33Сие сказал Я вам, чтобы вы имели во Мне мир. В мире будете иметь скорбь; но мужайтесь: Я победил мир.
